Compared to Egypt, the hotels in Tunisia, it seems to me, are much better.
Here in some three stars there were 3 pools.
One of them with heated water. With bleach, of course, but if you don't like it, the sea is a 5-minute walk away.
Of course, at this time the sea is already cool.
After reading the reviews, I thought that the sunbeds on the beach would be very expensive, but in fact it turned out to be 2-3 dinars. We took towels with us so it was easier for us.
The food is very good, for all 4 *, a lot and varied, not like in Egypt.
We had breakfast and dinner, we had enough. The fact that they don’t give free drinks for dinner, we knew about it, so we took a boiler with us into the room (wise people in Egypt advised).
Water in 2-liter bottles was bought at the General supermarket, it is cheaper than in Ukraine.
If you go to rest in a hotel, then, of course, you should choose 4 or 5 *.
We had a goal: to see the country, which is what we did.

We went from the Oasis on excursions (2-day Sahara, Dugga, Tunisia and Carthage). The guide Ahmed was very impressed. I have never seen such guides (well, very colorful and cheerful). He told a lot of interesting things about the country and explained a lot of nuances that we would not have learned if we went on our own (although in the future, I hope we will go without excursions, but Eastern countries have their own specifics and we need to prepare for this).

In general, I was struck by the service in the desert, where, as it were, there is no water: for example, all toilets are free, with paper, liquid soap, and dryers.

There were, of course, nuances in the hotel: there were ants in the room (but this is a trifle, because there were few cockroaches in the hotel where we spent the night in the Sahara)))) If there are living creatures, then the ecological situation in the country is normal.
Yes, upon check-in they offered a room with a sea view for $30, my friends agreed for $20))). Our room suited us just fine.
There were three of us with a small child, we were given a huge 4-bed room with 2 twin beds.
There were no problems with communication, we communicated with everyone in English, we haven’t really learned French yet, but we should. There it is, of course, specific, Arabic-French.

So if you are looking at the country, and not hotels in the country, then you can pretty well relax here.

I also liked the fact that the hotel has a lot of foreigners (Germans, Poles, French, Balts, etc. ).
