Pros: first line, own beach, close to the airport, excellent sea, large swimming pool, decent food, proximity to the city.
Cons: the hotel is not new, problems with towels and sunbeds after 9 am.
Well, now in more detail. In June, the weather is wonderful: sea 27, air 30, light breeze (the air conditioner was not even turned on). In general, I liked everything. Tunisian hotel stars correspond to Turkish and Egyptian ones, be guided. : )
The food at the hotel is normal, there was always meat and fish (which is usually asked). During the years of colonization, the French taught the locals how to make and drink wine, so, unlike Turkey and Egypt, you can even drink it. In the restaurant, a permanent table is assigned to you.

Cleaning is average, cosmetics only liquid soap. There are no beach towels (you can buy one with you or buy it inexpensively), and towels from the bathroom are taken in the morning and clean ones are brought only after dinner. I see this for the first time, but we reconciled.
The hotel is huge, so it is better to take a sunbed in the shade before 9 am.
We ordered a sea view in advance - believe me, it's worth it, beautiful sunrises (although the music rumbles until 12 at night). The rest of the rooms have a view of the road.
Safe in the room for a fee. Bar-refrigerator, too, and in the room it was not originally (surprised).
Animation - as usual, children's and adults' amateur. Separately, there was live music at the bar. There was a folk evening.
There are very few of us. There were many French and Poles.
With Russian there is not very good. The English reception staff understands of course. But the cleaners, etc. - French only.
Walk 15 minutes to the old town along the promenade. There is a large general supermarket near by. We bought olive oil from the market. In the Medina, in the Sula center, bags made of camel skin. Oil and bags - what is worth bringing, clothes, etc. - Prices are the same as ours. Excellent archaeological museum with luxurious Roman frescoes.
In general, we liked the rest, the hotel corresponds to its price, and Tunisia can be an alternative to Turkey and Egypt.
