For those who are too lazy to read the entire review, I’ll write a conclusion first - if you are offered this hotel for 300-400 bucks for a maximum of one and the purpose of the trip: 1. see the country, 2. check the box “was (a) in Tunisia” or 3. To wallow on the beach from 7 am to 6 pm - feel free to go. The hotel is not worth more. I paid 350 for the period July 6-13. Tourists who paid 500-600 euros per person for this miracle were very dissatisfied with everything and they could be understood.
And now in detail. The tour was purchased from Join Apa, the host of the Leptis Tour. I wanted to fly from Oasis but there were no seats on the flight. Departures at Join from Zhulyan at 5.30 am. The airline Avia trans, for some reason, the sky wings of Asia were written on the plane, the planes are old, the service is terrible. First they give out cheap lollipops - and God forbid you take two. The stewardess will yell that the rest will not have enough. It shocked me. Then they gave me a rubber sandwich and offered tea, coffee or water. . . I didn't even know that there were airlines that didn't even have money for packaged juices. sleepy flies work in Zhuliany at 5.20 in the morning registration has not yet ended, although the landing should have already ended. Arrival to Monastir. The airport is old, the capacity is small. We had 3 planes at the same time. For the first 35 minutes, only one control window worked, the Arabs in Tunisia are in no hurry. One works, and 6 people stand nearby, probably discussing something serious. Our people do not like to wait for a long time - indignation began, as well as photo and video reports of this miracle on cameras and phones. The result - first another window was opened, and then another 3. Eureka. further mess with buses. The numbers speak from the head, there is confusion in the parking lot, two tourists were lost in an unknown place, a few more were seated on other buses. Well, that's it. Everyone was advised to change money at the hotel. Do not be fooled if you are going to 3 * - change at the airport. The course is 164.5 dinars for 100 bucks. The hotel is 150 dinars.
Hotel. We arrived at the end of breakfast and the first thing we went to eat. We arrived at the hotel two buses, a total of 60 people. Even on the bus itself, the guide assured that there were no problems with resettlement in Tergul, I read the same in the reviews. Only here is the problem - at the time of arrival the hotel was already in the stop and we flew in on Saturday and in parallel with us, quite a lot of local Arabs with families drove in, who were naturally moved in first. Later, the Poles arrived, who, also thanks to their guide, were the first to settle. They started to settle us around 12. At the reception, a pretty nice woman speaks Russian, but only until you start yelling at her. So I do not advise. Everything can be solved quietly and persistently.

Number. Standing in line for check-in, I went to look at the woman's number, which she came to the reception to change. So advice - take either a bungalow or rooms on the third floor, as well as numbers that start with the numbers 6 or 7. Do not take the 4th and 5th floors. Firstly, there is no elevator, and secondly, all the rooms are old, there is no water pressure, and so on. The woman's room was on the fifth floor and her only plus was a sea view. Everything else - hello horror I'm a nightmare. So if they give you a room above the third floor, ask them to replace it right away, motivating them with sore legs or children or something else. They say the stairs are not for you.
We got a room on the 3rd floor - 305 and to be honest - we were really lucky! And no extra charge. All the rooms that I later saw with friends - and this is the bungalow and the main building, they really lost with ours. The room was large, overlooking the sea, right above the kitchen. There were no sounds, no smells from the kitchen. But from the balcony it was possible to climb onto the roof, which we did and watch the animation, so to speak, on the “VIP” places, the table and chairs were already there. We had a large balcony, as well as our room. A normal bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe with mirrored doors, a table and a chair, a huge bathroom. True old air conditioner that hummed loudly. It didn't bother me, but my friend couldn't sleep. If you fall asleep only in silence - ask for a bungalow - there are new air conditioners. The bathroom has two glasses, toilet paper and a rug on the floor. Also bath towels for the face. (as other vacationers said, we were lucky - they knocked out towels and toilet paper at the reception). Tipping does not affect cleaning, at best, towels will be replaced for you, and then if they consider yours dirty.
The territory of the hotel is beautiful and well-groomed, the photos do not lie - they really follow it. All in bushes, flowers, palm trees, etc. The covered pool was not working, the regular and children's pools were full of Arabs at the weekend, they were empty from Monday. There is a strong smell of chlorine. Slides do not work, but our people cannot be defeated - they collected 2 bottles of water from the pool and poured it in front of them. So they rode. The hotel has a shop, nobody mostly uses it, as there is a supermarket and souvenir shop opposite the hotel, plus a couple of cafes. There is also a bar on the beach where you can have a delicious and cheap lunch (prices and menu in the photo) open from 12-17. Of the minuses of the territory - it is dark in the evening. The bungalow area is not illuminated and you can just kill yourself walking home from the animation in the evening.
Beach. Posh. This is the only plus of the hotel. Wide, beautiful, relatively clean. It was dirty only on the first day of Ramadan, but by 10 o'clock in the morning the hotel management forced the animators to clean the beach. On the trail. the day was clear in the morning. There were no navyashchev sellers - there were no other hotels around, probably they were too lazy to go so far. A man went selling nuts and cacti, he had a chameleon with which you could play and take photos for free, another one steamed pareo and hashish, there were also 2 camels and a horse, but they stood nearby and didn’t walk along the beach. Umbrellas are free, sunbeds and mattresses are paid.

Food. There are 2 points. Breakfast shocked me, I read the reviews and honestly I was sure that they were exaggerating. Unfortunately no. Thank God I read the reviews and took coffee and cereals and cookies with me. Lunches are normal and dinners are good, for dinner I expected the worst, but there was variety. True, only watermelons are fruits. And my dears - do not take all inclusive. It's not worth it. You can have lunch for 3-4 dinars, water and juices are sold in the supermarket. Cheap. The hotel all-inclusive includes water, poisonous juices, something like cola (I don’t advise you to interfere with alcohol - it’s better to buy cola in the supermarket, checked for yourself) and red or rose wine (ONLY ROSE IS POSSIBLE TO DRINK). The difference between HB and all inclusive for a week for two is 150-200 bucks. It's not worth it!! ! In addition, some tourists bought an all-inclusive bracelet for 10 bucks at the reception. They will do everything for money. In the bar on the beach, you can take water in a plastic bottle all day long in the sun, I do not advise. Same thing with local cola and powdered yupi.
Animation is weak. On the beach, exercises, in the evening a couple of dances with children and vulgar contests for adults. They make noise until 22.00-22.45 depending on the number of people. If you close the balcony door, the animation is not audible. Disco from 23.00 to 2 am in the basement. There were always few people there because it was very stuffy there. Although the music is tolerable.
There is no service in the hotel. The guides are not intrusive which is a plus. At the reception there is a nice girl and an old Arab who barely moves. The only respect to the workers of the dining room. Besides them, no one works at the hotel. The dishes are cleaned quickly, if something is over, they immediately bring it. If you are late for the feeder, they will always feed you, no one will kick you out. We were 15 minutes late from Carthage, they let us in and did not clean up the buffet until we were done, there were 5 of us. (pictured is dinner after graduation). I would like to tell tourists - do not break at 7 pm for dinner, fearing that everything will be sorted out and you will remain hungry, you will not stay. Food is available until the end of dinner, which can be seen in the photo.
Near the hotel you can take a bus or minibus to Sousse or Port El Kantaoui.
Wi-Fi in the hotel is paid - 5 dinars per day or 3 dinars per hour on their computer. There are 2 cafes across the road, there is free Wi-Fi. In one for 800 milims, delicious coffee and sweets for 1-1.5 dinars, or tea with mint. In La Veranda you can eat deliciously, there are fresh juices, various cocktails. There is no alcohol. Alcohol is only in the General, and then until August 10th it will not be there since Ramadan. Although friends said that they bought from under the counter but for a double price.

It’s worth buying home rose wine (in General, prices are from 5 to 10 dinars per bottle) and Tiburin date liqueur - take it in duty free. I took a beautiful bottle in a box for 11.5 euros, you can take another manufacturer for 14 euros. In General, it costs 48 dinars, that is, 24 euros. The difference is twice.
From everything else, it is worth taking dates, nougat, Turkish delight, towels, beautiful sets for nuts, plates, soap, olive oil. Prices are pennies. For 2 liter cans of virgin oil in iron cans, they paid 12 dinars, for two, this is in the General. Tuna is also cheap and tasty. Magnets for a dinar, in El Jem they gave for half a dinar. Beach towels (beautiful) for 10 dinars. You can bargain for 7-8. Etc.
Excursions. We chose independent tourism, read everything we could on the Internet. Were in Porto, Sousse-Medina, El Jem-Coliseum, as well as Carthage and Tunisia.
Porto is beautiful and clean, there is a feeling that you are in another country. Take a walk along the marina, there are attractions for children - Hanibal Park, many souvenir shops and a small General. To get by bus 550 miles, by minibus 1 dinar. And do not ask the driver how much it costs - they will say 2. Payment at the exit - they gave a dinar and adios.
In Sousse there is a big General - our Silpo - there is only food, promised souvenirs, etc. there isn't. Sousse is a very dirty city Medina is beautiful only from the outside, inside is a nightmare - dirt, devastation, stench. The Arabs are all dirty, they sit selling food, grabbing hands. Horror is simple. It was worse than in the Old City in Egypt. Do not expect help from people, they will pass by with brick faces, like a pancake in China. Not everyone knows English there, as it is written in other reviews. I know Arabic, but it didn’t help there - they have some kind of their own dialect, you can only make out swear words and a couple more words. Thank you, at least the police are full, if you need something, contact them.

The trip to El Jem was the best. I liked it very much. From the hotel you need to get to the Luazhey station (Luazhey is our minibus gazelle. With a blue stripe they go around the city, with a red intercity one). Or to the Port, and then to the Louage. So tell the driver Luazhey Stasion . . there you pay for the ticket through the ticket office. To El Jem 4.750 dinars. Drive 60 km, about an hour. The longest wait is for the luage to fill up. Only 8 seats, but we waited 40 minutes to get back. Luage stops near the mosque and walk 300 meters to the Colosseum. Entry 10 dinars, applies to the Colosseum and Mosaic Museum. We arrived at one o'clock. The heat, of course, was hellish, but the emptiness in the Colosseum. We wandered alone. It's really worth seeing. It has been superbly preserved. Souvenirs are most profitable to buy near the Colosseum. They trade well. You can save a lot.
Trip Carthage-Tunisia. I regret that I went. It is worth going by yourself from Hammamet, from Sousse, Monastir, and even more so from Mahdia. The route is the same. From the hotel to the Luages Station. There, through the ticket office, a ticket is 9.500 dinars. Drive 1 hour 45 minutes. Approximately 150 kg. There are no landscapes outside the window, closer to Tunisia are low mountains. In Tunisia, from the luage station, it is about 700 meters to the Tunis-Nord metro station. Travel 600 miles. Go to the station Carthage-Ganibal. By the way, if you ask Carthage, no one will understand you, you need to say CARTAGE. The ticket costs 10 dinars and covers 8 objects: a theater, an amphitheater, the ruins of Anthony, two museums, villas, a necropolis and something else. The territory is huge. If you want to see everything, you should leave early in the morning. Excursions lead only to the museum and the ruins of Anthony. From Carthage Hanibal, you can drive 3 more stations to Sidi Bou Said (white-blue city) travel 200 miles like. Go to Tunisia as well. You can take a taxi. It will cost 16-20 dinars. From Tunis Nord, you can transfer to the metro around the city, drive to the center. The capital is not much cleaner than in Sousse, the houses are higher and that's all. Total spent 35 dinars. A guided tour costs 85 dinars (Poles have 75). But again, they do not carry everywhere. So judge for yourself which is more convenient for you. I personally regretted that I went on this excursion, in Lebanon, in Byblos, the ruins are more abrupt, and there are enough in Beirut itself. Just a hype tour. Such ruins exist in many countries.
The general impression of Tunisia is more negative. I honestly expected better. A very dirty country. I never thought that in an Arab, Muslim country it could be so dirty. And these people shout that they are not Arabs, but French (hahahaha the French are also far from being the cleanest nation). People are rude and mean. Walking around the city is disgusting. Plus it's the sea and shopping. Everything. Do I want to return to this country? I think no. To get there after Lebanon or the UAE - take valerian. Or go to good 5 * with a large territory and do not go out. If you are aesthetes, or mega clean - do not fly - you will die from landscapes even when the plane is landing.
I ticked the box for myself that I was in Tunisia and traveled around the country. The sea was secondary, since I have not been able to get out of it since last October. I went because of the very low price. I wouldn't pay more. The sea is the same as in Turkey, but the flight is less. So if I need to rest purely, I will return to Turkey, but not to Tunisia.

I can’t say anything bad about the hotel, or rather I can, but I won’t. Since for July 350 bucks is a ridiculous price. The owner of the hotel is a goon and saves on everything. Make cosmetic repairs in the rooms, replace the plumbing, and also do not gobble up the food and especially the fruit and the hotel will be great. Territory and beach - 5 points. We were also lucky with the number and the company. The people were all kind. And Russians and Belarusians and Ukrainians. (True, there were problems with the Poles, but that's it).
