I have always been categorically against Tunisia (the work of my tour operator, she always dissuaded me from the trip, arguing that it is even worse there than in Egypt). Therefore, when I was offered a tour to Sousse, and there were simply no other options (because of Euro 2012 and the abnormally hot beginning of summer), I was disappointed, but I wanted to relax, and therefore - LETS GO! ! Vacation started with the airline. : (In the morning, having previously looked at the delays on the airline's website, we went to Boryspil. After 10 minutes upon arrival, we found a delay of 3 hours. And where are the changes only for a day for charters? ? They didn’t return home, they waited. 3.15 flight, and we landing at the Enfidha airport. A storm of delight in the child, for the first time he saw how a bus was not driven to the plane, but simply stretched out like a corrugation. Then a long and tedious corridor. Questionnaires - by the way, lie right on the big table in a huge amount.

Quick filling out of the questionnaire, the smile of the employee, then another one, suitcases on the tape, a huge hall and a meeting guide - everything is the same as always : ) 30 minutes to get on the bus, 35 minutes of the road and we, tired, almost sleeping, but still joyful, arrive at the hotel when normal people are asleep. Let me remind you, who does not know that the time difference between Ukraine and Tunisia is 2 hours, that is, we have 2 hours more than they have. So it was already 2 nights. Cool, but from the whole bus we were only 3 people in this hotel. In 30 seconds we were given the keys, poured a glass of juice for the child and sent to the room, having previously said that we could go down to the restaurant and have something to eat on the way : ) - super. Of course, they took us to the room, put the suitcase, refused 1 euro and took us to the restaurant. I forgot to say that dinars go in Tunisia (1 dinar = 6 our hryvnias). They change money directly at the hotel, so there were no problems. There is an ATM: Visa, Master, American Express.

Oh, I forgot to say that no one in the hotel understands Russian. Even the usual "how are you? good. thank you" you will not hear. But they speak wonderful French (which is not surprising), English and tolerably German. In general, let's return to the restaurant: we could not evaluate it on the first day, because it was already late, the staff was preparing for the next day, but despite this they were friendly. We were escorted to a table, brought clean cutlery and shown where the drinks were. We didn’t want to eat, so we drank beer, and our child ate a croissant and went to bed. The room is not big, but bright and pleasant. The furniture is normal, plumbing too, bedding, towels - everything is like in any normal hotel. Of the "soap-ryl" only soap in the dispenser, but for me this is not a minus, I do not use hotel supplies. But the view from the room turned out to be a construction site, but we found out only in the morning : ) By the way, I didn’t strain at all, even considering that I sleep a little during the day.

The lady who cleaned the room was great. Thank you. The first morning of our holiday began with the awesome singing of a bird. On the clock that I did not translate, it was 7 in the morning and I decided that it was time to go for reconnaissance by the sea and the beach. Can you imagine the eyes of the cleaners when the lady is in a bathing suit at 5!! ! in the morning I came to swim : ) The beach, or rather not it, but the sand on it, deserves an ODE. It is white, it creaks like snow, it does not stick to the legs and other parts - just a bomb. Sea with algae, which is disgusting to me, but where they swim, they are cleaned. Small and warm - great for a child. Along the beach, as in their native Crimea, they carry fruits, sweets, cigarettes and newspapers, but they don’t bother and approach vacationers only if they are called. The coast police ride on a quad bike 2 times a day - it's cool, we even talked with them and took photos, cool guys. Entertainment at sea is presented quite widely and not so expensive.

The pools are not heated, but very beautifully made, of different levels of filling, so that we and the kid were not bored. Lots of sunbeds and umbrellas too. There is a lot of space, so you can move behind the shade all day with a sunbed. Animation is not annoying, but it is, and if you are interested - go ahead, a club for children as well. There is no playground. Evening shows in summer near the beach, and in winter - in a closed club in the main building. The food was excellent, the style of food is more European - a lot of vegetables, fruits and meat. Who needs details - ask? Probably affects the composition of vacationers - 99% Europeans of all countries : ), a lot of French, Germans and British. Dinner only at the table assigned to you. Favorite resting place is the lobby with soft sofas, huge armchairs and delicious cocktails. On request there is a hookah. A separate story deserves the medina of Sousse (it's something like a bazaar), the Port (Marina) and the town of Sousse itself.

To whom it is interesting - ask. Of the trips were only in the Phrygia zoo - beyond praise ....The child is simply delighted, although we have been to many reserves. We didn’t go to the Sahara and Carthage - the kid is quite small, it would be difficult for him, but in a year I think we will return and visit the places where Star Wars was filmed : ) I can talk a lot more about salt lakes, and about golf clubs, and about the wine of Tunisia, and the catus, and the olive groves, and the little fennec foxes. Now I can say with confidence that Tunisia is a wonderful country.

P. S. Thank you very much to our airline for the delay of the return flight by 4 hours, just returned to our reality to get used to the idea that the vacation is over!!! ! : (
