I want to say right away that we booked a completely different hotel, in a cat. for some reason, there was no room of the category we booked. So we ended up in this terrible Alara Park hotel.
I personally have been to Turkey 7 times and have been to almost all European countries, we travel a lot and we have something to compare with.
The territory of the hotel is green, but at first glance it is immediately clear that it is not well-groomed. In some places it really smelled like sewage! A couple of days in one of the flower beds (near the first building) one could actually observe a sewer pipe leak. In the flower bed, brown water and remnants of toilet paper constantly flowed from the ground. The smell next to this flower bed was appropriate.

At the expense of cleanliness in the hotel, from the rooms to the common area, is also a complete disaster. 3 days before departure, I went to the toilet, located near the reception. To say I was shocked is an understatement! Of the 3 booths, 2 were closed, and in the only open one, SHIT lay all over the floor and was smeared on the floor even to the sinks! What 5 stars are we talking about???
Literally every evening there were power outages from 2-3 to 5-6 times per evening!! ! At the same time, the elevator constantly broke down and we had to climb the stairs with a small child in the heat to the 6th floor! Once the elevator did not work for a whole day!
After all this, it was really scary to use the elevator, as we were not sure that we would not get stuck in it the next time the power went out.
Also on one of the days there was no electricity and water for TWO hours!
The hotel beach is very narrow. There were always not enough umbrellas and we had to get up at 6 am (!!! ) to take sunbeds under an umbrella, since it was impossible to be in direct sun with a small child. At 7 am all the sunbeds under the umbrellas were already taken!
There is not a single urn on the beach itself, so especially educated tourists leave fruit cores, plastic cups, khabariki and other garbage right on the sand!
The water was clean and clear in the early morning, but by 10-11 o'clock near the beach, glasses, cigarette butts, some plastic bags and other garbage were already floating in the water.
The service is just terrible! And at the reception and in the restaurant!

We did not notice the friendliness and willingness to help from the reception staff. For example, when cleaning the room, the maid forgot to put shower gel on us and we had nothing to wash with. I called the reception at 11 am (we wanted to wash up after the beach before dinner) and asked for at least one bottle of shower gel, to which the girl Yulia told me that the maid was cleaning our body and we should wait for the turn to reach us and the maid herself will come to us to clean up. I asked again how long we would have to wait, to which I received an answer - until 17.00! Those. we were offered 6 (! ) hours to wait without washing!! ! To which I said that I would like to wash the child and wash myself before 17.00, and could they send someone to us with one bottle of shower gel. To which I was answered in a rude manner that they do not have such a person, and she herself will not go either, because this is not her job! Here is such a "wonderful" service!
One more example:
For some reason, we could not call from our number either within Turkey or abroad. After several attempts, I called the reception and asked how to call. (Yes, there was no information about this anywhere in the room, although usually in normal hotels everything is indicated in the daddy, the cat lies next to the phone). So, they told me on the phone how to call, but I already tried that and there was no connection. To which I was asked to come to the reception and call from there. We went in the heat to the reception building, cat. was 200 meters from ours. There they tried to explain to me several times how to call, to which I said that I had already tried that and their colleague told me to come and call the reception. To which I was told that you can’t call the reception, call from the room! How can I call from my room if I have no connection to any phone outside the hotel?? ? After pripiraniya us still allowed to call the reception to the insurance company (maybe our child got sick). And they asked me to pay $10 for the call. After we asked for an invoice for negotiations, this price has already changed to 7 dollars.
Because We didn’t have any money with us, we said that we would pay later, when leaving, this is quite a normal practice.
When leaving the hotel (we left at night), we asked for a telephone bill, cat. we have shown before. To which TWO receptionists did not understand our request either in Russian, or in English, or in German! How can a receptionist not know a single foreign language?? ? And not only that, as it turned out later (one of the accompanying guides translated our request into Turkish), they also did not know how this bill could be printed! And these are the employees of the so-called 5-star hotel!!!
The food is just a disaster!

The food, both the quality and the choice of it, left much to be desired! Three of us had constant stomach problems! My husband was poisoned for 2 weeks stay in this hotel TWO times!! ! Please note that he did not drink alcohol. My stomach constantly hurt, and on the last day of my stay I had terrible diarrhea (I apologize for the intimate details). We just dreamed when this nightmarish vacation would end!
Moreover, when talking with other tourists, we were told the same thing, that they or their family members were also poisoned.
From some dishes in the restaurant there was a frankly missing smell. I had to literally sniff all the food and take only something well-cooked or fried.
A couple of times we saw for ourselves how the director of the hotel smelled the food brought to him! This, I think, speaks volumes!
The restaurant constantly lacked clean dishes and cutlery!
The layout of the food tables in the restaurant is so obtuse that people are constantly bumping and pushing each other. Dinner plates could only be taken from one place! While fried/grilled food was served in the open area of the restaurant outside, plates had to be taken inside!
The service of the restaurant staff leaves much to be desired.

As an example: once at breakfast, pancakes were fried on the street. Our child, after 3 days of illness, finally wanted to eat and these same pancakes. Of course, there was an unmeasured queue for the pancakes, as only one cook fried them and only 6 pancakes at a time. I got in line while I was standing, my husband managed to eat, then he replaced me and I also managed to eat my breakfast while he was waiting in line. And finally, his turn comes up and the cook, without saying a word, turns around and leaves somewhere! He comes in about 5 minutes with trays of eggs, and just takes and POURS the dough in front of everyone! And says "no pancakes" !!! ! Everyone is in shock!! ! After 20 (!!! ) minutes of waiting we get NOTHING!!! ! Then the enraged husband ran to the restaurant kitchen for the chef and began to swear! Of course, everyone was alarmed, the restaurant manager came running. When my husband began to demand the chef of the hotel, the restaurant manager said: "Calm down, don't shout, we are people too. . . " !!!!!!!!!!!!! ! I have no words! A sick child is waiting for these damned pancakes, and these so-called people are pouring dough in front of you into the trash can!
As a result, from the remnants of the dough, we still baked one unfortunate pancake, more like a pancake.
The children's pool with slides is just in a terrible state!
The drain grates along the edges of the pool were partially missing, so the child had to constantly remind the child to look under his feet so as not to fall into the open groove and break his legs! It was necessary to build a continuous strip from the existing gratings so that the child would not fall. Pointing out to the hotel workers that there were no bars did not lead to anything. Moreover, there were no problems in the large pool with gratings.
But what is most terrible, almost 70% of preschool children, after a couple of days of swimming in the pool, fell ill with a rotavirus infection accompanied by fever, vomiting and diarrhea. Some children were even put on drips! It is good that our child was vaccinated against this infection and we escaped with only a high fever.
The fact that only one of the two slides worked, compared to all this, is already nonsense.
Mini club and playground:
The mini-club room stank of dampness, mustiness and mold!
The playground is in a very poor condition. During the day it is under the direct rays of the scorching sun, and in the evening it is not illuminated! Those. The place is really useless!
Our room was located in building number 6.20-50 meters from the autobahn, the noise from traffic was constantly (24 hours a day) in the room!
The front door in the room is slanting and with huge gaps!
The furniture in the room is old, broken, there were no handles on the dressing table drawer! The doors in the rooms (we had a 3-room suite) opened and closed with effort and with a terrible creak.
For all 2 weeks of stay in the room, they never washed the floor and did not wipe the dust! I think even before our settlement in the room, this was also not done! Mud in all corners!

In the so-called mini-bar upon arrival there was only one 1.5 liter bottle of water. No more water was brought to us. Guests of the hotel are encouraged to drink water from coolers made of small plastic cups. Also a "good" indicator of the service of the so-called "5-star" hotel.
Well, a little about the contingent of tourists in this hotel.
The guests at the hotel for the most part, not all of course, but very many, terribly uncultured and ill-mannered.
The restaurant is pushing. The food was filled with full plates, that this food fell off the plates and, of course, without eating half of it, they left it all like that.
Constantly someone climbed out of line for hot. A couple of times it happened that my husband stood in line with the child for a hot one and some bully just approached impudently and wanted to take something for himself without a queue.
For dinner, some vacationers appeared in transparent pareos over their bathing suits, one lady constantly walked in a "silk" dressing gown, such as from a set of dressing gown + nightgown with thin straps. Some of the men came to dinner in swim shorts and tank tops. One granny dissected frankly in pajamas!!!
The administration looked at all this with closed eyes! Although, it's just indecent!!!
I think this is also an important factor, on the basis of which the staff treats vacationers simply in a boorish way!
Many vacationers from the Urals, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, 20 percent from Poland, Slovenia and Slovakia.
Unfortunately, many of our compatriots (and former compatriots) are satisfied with this hotel, but on what stays, we did not manage to understand this. The only explanation, cat. we found - people simply did not see anything else and we sincerely feel sorry for them.
I really hope that my review will help many people going to Turkey to avoid such a nightmarish vacation that we experienced.
