We rested in Alara with a small child in early September. While the impressions are still fresh in my memory, I share them with everyone in need : )
So, the hotel is quite decent. We lived in the main building of 6 floors. The room is simple but cozy and the cleaning lady cleaned it every day to the glory, although every day we left her a couple of dollars. The hotel area is large. Even huge, since we discovered the 3rd outdoor pool only a couple of days before departure!
Food.

This is just the case when the closet is falling from things, but there is nothing to wear. That is, there is a lot of food, but after eating, you suddenly feel heaviness in your stomach and an attack of nausea. I mean exactly by eating, and not by stuffing anything and how much you like. But one day we went to an Italian a la carte restaurant and there the food turned out to be much better and our stomachs didn’t hurt. In general, either the water in Turkey is special, or the food they cook is of poor quality, but many people complained about all sorts of digestive problems (not to mention children! ).
Beach.
Seeing the beach for the first time, I immediately remembered my childhood vacation in Sudak, when people were lying on the sand, like a tyulka in a tin can, one on top of the other! Alara is a huge hotel, the people are the sea, and the beach is designed for a third of the entire hotel population. But this is not the most unpleasant. What disappointed me most of all was what I went to Turkey-Sea for. It was green-gray in color, cloudy and from time to time "diluted" with bottles and straws for cocktails after the rest of the Turks on a wild and open beach just a meter from the beach of the hotel. As I already understood, picnics by the sea are a favorite entertainment of Turkish families 7 days a week (and when do they work? )
Animation.
I'll just say: too noisy and a little intrusive, especially for a family hotel. Although for children from 3 years old there are a lot of entertainment and discos in the evenings.
Atmosphere.
Atmosphere for an amateur. As they say, the taste and color... We did not like it. The feeling that we are in the epicenter of an anthill did not leave. I wanted a more relaxed environment.
Finally, I note that gradually I got the impression that I was not relaxing in September on the Mediterranean coast in Turkey, but on the coast of my native Black Sea in the month of July. For a complete picture, only the following was missing: "Bakhlava honey with nuts! " : -)
