We rested in Turkey in Antalya (Alanya) at the Alara Star five-star ultra hotel from July 14 to 21.2015.
The hotel itself is above all praise, but the air carrier Katekavia and the tour operator Anekstur are, to put it mildly, shit.
But about everything in detail and point by point.
First the negatives:

1. Katekavia (an air carrier that we were not lucky enough to fly). Before that, I had to fly four times with different airlines, but nothing even close to this happened. And there was a flight delay for... 12 hours (! ). We were supposed to leave at 5 am, and left at 5 pm. The reason is the preparation of the aircraft for departure. Moreover, it was not reported when the real flight would take place (it was postponed at least three times), as well as the fact that you can go to a hotel and get vouchers for meals, so not everyone was able to use the services listed above. In general, if, unfortunately, you are flying Katekavia, good luck! Such cases are in the order of things there (we were generally told that our airline is very small and there are no spare planes in it, and since it is private, a flight delay is possible up to 24 hours, plus everything, since tickets from this company are the cheapest, then and nothing to complain about). For me, so Katekavia - sucks!!!!!!!
2. Anekstur. Disgusting tour operator, undisciplined and irresponsible. Arriving after 12 hours of waiting at Antalya airport, we found that our luggage did not arrive with us. Yes, yes, it happens. Our huge Boeing was divided into two small planes at Domodedovo. One flew at 17.00, the other at 19.00. And Anekstur, in order not to take one group to the hotel first, and then also return for the second, sent with our plane the luggage of those who flew at 19.00, and ours arrived with them. And we waited for the suitcases at the airport for another three hours (! ). At the same time, the transfer guide, even after the insistent requests of our group, did not even come to us at the airport (although he had to solve all our problems). But that's not all. Tired tourists were forced to stand in another queue in order to register vouchers and put us on the bus to the miracle driver. He was drunk (he smelled of alcohol), by that time he had had a fight with a transfer guide and a tourist, he had a black eye (that is, he didn’t see one) and had problems with his glasses (in my opinion, they broke them). And now such a driver has already started off in order to take us to the hotel. The transfer guide didn't even sit down with us. Only after our screams they changed the bus and gave us another driver (good, but he did not know the road to Alara and asked in other hotels how to get there). In general, Anekstura guides often do not go with their tourists, for example, to souvenir shops (other tour operators do this), and as you can see, we even went to the hotel and settled alone. Anekstur - shit!!!
3. The hotel itself (Alara Star) is a charm and, as I already wrote, is beyond praise. The only downside is housekeeping. We came across a very impudent cleaning lady who poked her finger at everything she didn’t like, and then also extorted money for a pillow supposedly smeared in hair dye. In no other hotel (including in Turkey) have such arrogance been encountered before.
Now for the positives:

4. Check-in (since a day of rest was stolen from us during a hellish flight, we arrived at the hotel at four o'clock in the morning). We were given a chic room, very spacious for two, new, cleaned, without the slightest flaws. And we were not asked to pay extra for moving into such a room from us at the reception. Moreover, they helped to carry the suitcase to the room, and when the light began to flash in the toilet, they changed it in just a minute.
5. Animation. Excellent. As many have already written, the dwarf Kiko is the star of Alara Star. The shows are always different and very well organized (competitions, numbers, dances).
6. The sea is simply magnificent, it can't be better. The beach is sandy (no stones and pebbles), if we talk about a large common beach (I don’t recommend the beach in the bay, although it’s cooler there, but it’s tiring to go down and up, muddy water, stones and fish touch your legs with fins). The sea is clean and warm. In general, the sea is just super.
7. Food is also beyond praise. A varied menu, one day (when Eid al-Adha) they gave plenty of cherries for breakfast and dinner (it was nice to see a plate with a hill of cherries on each table), there was also fish (salmon), grilled chicken, peaches, watermelons (everything ripe), Lots of sweets and stuff. From two to four in the afternoon, the hotel serves ice cream for every taste and in unlimited quantities (strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, lemon). Bars (at the hotel and by the pool) also work with a bang.
8. The territory at Alara Star is small, at Alara Park it is larger (if you go to the best sandy beach), then you have to go through the territory of the Park (where you get good photos).
Conclusion: the hotel is great, Katekavia sucks, Anekstur is shit.
