I rested in this hotel from 07 to 21 August 2010 with my mother (I am 27, my mother is 47). We flew with Muscovy Airlines. Tour operator - Teztur. I’ll make a reservation right away: there are a lot of negative details in the review - this is for those to whom they are important !! ! It is very unpleasant when coming on vacation to see dissatisfied faces, only because people do not know in advance where they are going. We enjoyed our vacation very much!
So, we arrived at night, the hotel was only two hours 08.08. Flight delay for 4 hours due to smog in Moscow (departure from Domodedovo). Arrived tired to disgrace. The guide took us to the door to the hotel, they dealt with the reception themselves. True, no problem: we were given a card (name, surname, date of birth, passport details, address of residence, full name and passport details of the accompanying person) which I filled out in a couple of minutes. I was immediately handed the keys to the room, and an employee was already waiting for us to take us to the room and take our things. The room was given on the 4th floor overlooking the sea and pool number 1429. The view is VERY beautiful. The room itself is relatively clean, quite nice interior. Now the very details: stains on the carpet, blood stain on the curtain (small), small dark spots in the bathroom, not very comfortable curtain (it is made of glass, fixed tightly, covers only half of the bath - splashes fly to the floor), dirty brush, bath slightly leaking, the TV does not work, linen and towels can be stained (linen was changed three times in two weeks, towels - as soon as they were thrown on the floor), in addition, as we found out the next evening, we have animation right under the windows, soundproofing - zero, respectively, the feeling that you are sitting in an amphitheater. Benefit animation ends at 23 (24 Moscow time). The next day we went to reception and asked to change the room. Neither for money, nor for free - they did not change. The hotel guide Teztura chose not to interfere (he came up, heard the question and disappeared). They scored and calmly rested further (even sometimes they watched the show from the balcony). The TV did not work until the end of the holiday - well, okay - not the first time on vacation, with a laptop with video. The bath itself stopped leaking for 3-4 days. Tipping the maid was left once - there was no result, they did not leave it again. It suited us anyway (the garbage was taken out, I somehow vacuumed it and okay). Everything seems to be about the number.
In the morning we went to look around: where did we come. The area is very pleasing. On the same territory Alara Star, Alara, Alara West. I liked Alara 4* the most (she was already in the foot when we booked, otherwise we would have gone to her). So, the territory: 3 pools, 4 or five bars, 4 beaches and one beautiful garden! Beaches for every taste. Now about everything in more detail:

Swimming pools: the largest in Alara Star (almost the entire length of the body, depth 1.4 m, with a small waterfall), significantly smaller in Alara (depth from 0.9 m to 2.10 m), about the same size in Vesta (I don’t know the depth, it seems about a meter, maybe a little more). Near each large pool there is a small one for children (but very small in diameter, maximum 1.5 meters, depth - 35 cm). A common problem for all pools is that they are very heavily chlorinated. You can swim until 7 pm, then - treatment, in the morning you can swim even at dawn. The waterfall starts around 8 am. There is a bar in the pool only in Stara, but it does not work (apparently for a long time, and will not work in the near future). There are a lot of sun loungers by the pool, you can always find places with an umbrella near the Star, at other hotels - until 9 in the morning you can definitely, then - as you're lucky. Sunbeds near the pools are wooden, on yarns - plastic. Everything is good not new. Mattresses in Stare are removed to the bar (the doors are not closed, you can take them in the morning at any time).
Bars: you can use any. Restaurants - for each hotel its own. Bar in the lobby - mineral water, beer, cola-fanta-sprite, a very nice thing called Nescafeice, a couple of alcoholic bottles, tea and coffee. They are poured according to the mood of the attendants - either into glass or plastic, and this does not depend on age or nationality.
Bar by the pool: about the same set, but no Nescafeys, but they cook frozen sorbet (mango and raspberries are very tasty - the rest is just sweet and refreshing well), there is also ayran for lunch. The bar itself is very nice. Located on the top terrace as you go down to Stara beach. The view of the sea through the pines is just lovely! Pool bar Alara - a set of drinks is approximately the same (they do not make sorbet) - a very pleasant environment, a view of a small sandy bay. A bar near a large sandy beach - as well as a beautiful view from everywhere, in this bar you could have a snack from 11 to 16 with french fries (very tasty after 4-5 hours of swimming), sausages, cheeseburgers, a small set of vegetables. There is also a similar set - in the bar near the Alara Star pool, but there they also fried chicken cutlets, some meatballs... It seems the last bar - also very nice - near West. It's just nice to sit on the balcony in the evening. The set of drinks is the same.
The service in all bars is the same: you come up, say whatever you want, take it to the table yourself, and then they take away the dirty dishes.
The most important thing why we went there is the beaches: there are 4 of them. A large sandy one, a small cove with sand, a stone one and another sandy one with a pier from a neighboring hotel. Almost always waves. There was not a single day of calm. A bit quieter on Stara beach (which is near the pier).

Large sandy: it is very pleasant to walk along this beach in the morning (the strip is about 3-4 km, you can walk to the following hotels - Pegasos). There are a lot of sunbeds, there are also a lot of umbrellas (but the problem is to stick them in the sand), there was enough of everything (maybe not on the first line, but here you can either sleep until dinner or enjoy all the amenities). Sun loungers practically did not occupy, because. whenever we came, I found two sun loungers and an umbrella. As at the pools and on all other beaches, sun loungers and umbrellas are far from new. Several brushes are scattered all over the beach - to clean the sand from the mattresses. The water is very clear. I strongly advise mothers with children to go further along the beach - there are no pitfalls, and with strong waves they can be very seriously injured (we saw several injured people). The sand is soft and pleasant. Lying on the water's edge is a pleasure. On the beach there are two showers, a toilet, a foot flush. On this beach you can get a tattoo (the price is about 10-15 dollars, I think).
The next beach is a small bay. We almost didn't go there. The beach itself is very cozy, but a small boat is parked there, on which you can ride from 15 to 18, more on that below. There were also enough sunbeds and all the equipment, a shower, a toilet - everything is available. The sun comes here only at 9.
We go further and see a stone beach. It consists of separate small platforms cascading down to the sea. That each terrace - a maximum of 5 sunbeds (on the lowest tier it seems only 7). The initial depth here is more than 3 meters. There is a single ladder to descend into the water. People love to sit on it. It is dangerous to use this beach in case of strong excitement (the stairs are not located very conveniently - I was distracted for a second, you have already been thrown onto sooooo sharp stones). There is nothing to do with children on this beach. There is only a shower on the beach - on one of the upper terraces. It is very interesting to snorkel here, there are a lot of fish. The main advantage of the beach is silence! Only the sound of the waves. We spent most of our time here (the seats on the lower terrace went to take around 6:30 - 7 am, because we really liked a particular place). The water is crystal clear.
The last beach is combined with the Aska hotel. Terraces descend to the water very beautifully, surrounded by pines and other trees! The view is amazing. The beach itself is sand. A rather large pier has been made. There are almost no sun loungers near the water - all are scattered on the wall. There is no shower or toilet here (you need to run upstairs). Near the pier there is a rather strong current. For those who swim well, there are a couple of very small ones next to this beach - you can only get there from the sea if you swim towards ASKI (it seems not far at all, no more than 20 meters, but the current is very strong there - be careful with children).

Park and territory: there are a lot of stairs throughout the territory. And they are pretty cool. But it’s nice to walk along them - such views open up! The territory is very green, a lot of flowers. Indeed, there are fruit trees and bushes (bananas, pomegranates, oranges), but they need to be looked for. A lot of flowers. The park is beautifully laid out. Lots of nooks and crannies. We were delighted. The territory will more than cover all the disadvantages of this hotel (this is my opinion).
Restaurants and food. The meal schedule is approximately as follows: from 7:30 to 9:30 breakfast, from 11 to 16 snacks (potatoes, hamburgers, etc. - I already wrote above), from 12 to 14 lunch, from 16 to 17 in the lobby and in in the restaurant of your hotel - cookies and other pastries, dinner from 19:30. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner only in your restaurant, a snack - in any place you like. I didn’t like Alara’s restaurant, as for me, it’s more like a dining room of a Soviet boarding house. Come for lunch and breakfast - as convenient, for dinner - it is better at exactly 19:30 - otherwise you will either look for a table for a long time, or you will be seated with someone. Breakfast is poor: diluted juice, tea / coffee, two or three types of inedible sausages, several types of cheeses (not the most delicious), several types of cottage cheese, buns, a lot of jams and marmalades, porridge, nasty sausages, they also fry scrambled eggs in the open air, omelettes , every three days - very tasty pancakes, fruits (green melons, excellent watermelons, peaches, grapes, plums, apples, pears - the same set of fruits for lunch and dinner).
Lunch - a couple of times I didn’t find what to eat, I took potatoes with vegetables at the bar and dined with this, I took only sweets in the restaurant. Of the drinks in the restaurant, only wine and diluted UPI juices are displayed. If you want cola-fanta-beer, etc. , you just need to ask the waiter - they bring it instantly. Choose dishes very carefully (very often they spread yesterday's, and even the day before yesterday). Dinner is a bit more varied. Always two types of pasta, two types of sauces for them, soup, snacks, vegetables, meat or chicken in a couple of options, one or two more side dishes. Dinner has more choices. Almost always something is grilled. Once they made shawarma (chicken and lamb) - SUPER! In general, the food is more than average. We did not leave a tip, but the waiters were constantly spinning around us - just smile and everything will be very good.
There is free wifi in the lobby (password Alarahotels1983). I took a laptop - they saved a lot of money on the phone (called via Skype). The speed is good - even video conferences went with a bang!

The hotel has a health center (cold pool, sauna, hammam - free of charge if you want to be washed, massage - this is already for money). We took the basic course (sauna, hammam, coffee peeling, foam massage, relaxing massage) for $35. Then they took another course of 5 massage sessions (1 hour - $ 50, went in the very heat, when it was already impossible to stay on the beach). In general, I liked it. The masseur tried to dissolve his hands once, he was given to understand that extra services were not needed - he instantly calmed down, then everything was within the framework. Here you can also change towels for free (you take cards at the reception, you get towels in the center, you can change them from 14 to 17). In addition, you can braid pigtails (for the upper part of the head - $ 30, completely - I don’t know). I didn't like how they weave.
Now about the boat. He takes you on a 3-hour walk (from 15 to 18). In order to go, go for 10 minutes to the bay. There are two crew members on the boat. Reach out to anyone. The cost is $13 for an adult and $6 for a child. Be sure to bring your mask, snorkel and fins! We did not take fins (we were too lazy) and very much regretted it. The ship first goes far into the open sea. If someone is afraid, it’s better not to, and then he enters a small bay. There are a lot of turtles there. You can swim behind them. Turtles swim fast - you can't catch up without flippers. Then the boat goes in the opposite direction, makes one more stop - to swim again. Planted in the same place (in the bay of Alara).
Finally, I’ll say it again - we really enjoyed our vacation. You can close your eyes to the cons that this hotel has. The staff, except for the maids, understands Russian.
Well, that's all it seems. Have a good holiday everyone!
