Hello, here we are back from Alara-star. The feeling of rest was twofold. Lots of negatives and lots of positives. I'll try to be objective.
I'll start from the very beginning: we arrived early, around 10 am, put two small euro bills into our passports, and in 15 minutes we were given a good room on the second floor, No. 1213, overlooking the pool and the sea, half-covered by pine trees. The rest waited 14 hours. The rooms are not bad, not killed (however, we had to bring ours to mind - the air conditioner did not work and the safe was opened with a finger, everything was fixed during the day). And in the bathroom, due to the ill-conceived design of the curtains, after taking a shower, a branch of the Mediterranean Sea was formed on the floor : ). We have no complaints about the cleaning of the room, for a dollar a day we were vacuumed, dusted, changed towels and twisted hearts and swans on the beds. I cannot fail to note the amazingly beautiful territory of the adjacent alara 4 *. It is very picturesque, green, thoughtful. Great landscape design!
Next is the negative. Air conditioning is not turned on in the lobby and restaurant, stuffiness, because of this there are problems with places for dinner, everyone wants to sit outside, there are not enough tables. By the way, for about a week, every evening, dripping from the ceiling in the lobby, substituted basins and buckets fabulously decorated " business card of the hotel. The food is average, everything that is cooked in front of you is delicious, specifically the grill, but you have to stand in line for it : ). A lot of yesterday's and the day before yesterday's main dishes migrated to snack and salad tables. Sometimes during meals, ordinary black tea in bags ended. Then they figured out to "get" it as needed in the lobby, but sometimes it ended there. Lack of crockery, especially cutlery.

Strong negative: dirty dishes! In any hotel, regardless of its star rating, there should not be dirty dishes. Tea-stained cups and saucers, leftover food on forks and spoons, dirty plates, dirty glasses. They carried wet wipes with them and wiped all the dishes. And all the same, the whole family caught an intestinal infection. Many tourists with whom we communicated also did not pass this fate: (Minus 4 days from the rest.

There is a catastrophic lack of servants in the restaurant, they do not have time to clean, they do not have time to bring "clean" dishes, change tablecloths, and they had to beg for cutlery. The lobby often runs out of drinks, and the bartenders themselves can dump and wait for them for 15 minutes without waiting. In this hotel, I really saw the difference in attitudes towards the Germans and the Russians. For us - glasses made of the cheapest and thinnest plastic, for the Germans - glass. Beach towels are changed only on even numbers and for some reason only at 16:00. You're half an hour late, you're left with dirty. By the way, clean towels are not very clean to be honest. These are the “ultra all inclusive” and fives in Turkey.
Another feature of the hotel: because of its own, tiny territory near Alarastar (if your room windows overlook the pool), everything happens directly below you, animation, evening shows, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, everything can be observed and smelled : ) from the room, closed doors from noise and smells do not save. And if you have small children, don't put them to bed before 23:00, it's noisy.

Positive: great animation: Gayana, Vanya, Ruslan and Abdul, thank you! You are best! The guys, for us personally, were an outlet and cheered up spoiled by the local service.

The beaches are not bad, quite clean (not without cigarette butts, of course): two in rocky bays and one, actually Incekum, sandy, wonderful for bathing children.
Now about the tour operator:

Do not take excursions from Anex (as well as from other Russian tour operators), firstly, the price is at least three times higher, the quality of services is disgusting. We ourselves do not understand how they got divorced on a pirate yacht and a two-day Ephesus - Pammukale. Like experienced tourists, we know that you can’t take excursions at the hotel. They wanted more comfort promised by the tour operator because of their small child. But in reality, it’s a complete extortion: a cup of bourda, proudly called tea, is 2.5 dollars, a can of cola is 2-3 dollars. And “it’s ugly to bring water with you” (c) our guide, but it’s nice to hand my son an ice cream cone and say, eat boy, five dollars - dad will pay. Overnight in a rooming house, with a non-working bathroom and refrigerator, positioned by the guide as one of the best spa hotels in Pammukale, with a thermal pool in the form of chlorinated water, heated to 36 degrees, with cold stones in the hammam. In the same hospice, we met and talked with tourists from Coral and Teza - the same story. Endless shopping, 12 hours on the bus, feeding under awnings with flies, two hours of walking with a guide, a pseudo-historian of Ephesus. And as an apotheosis - fuel economy on the way back in the form of an air conditioner turned off in the bus. It's not worth it.
Now, if our voyage had ended on this, it would not have been a journey, but a disaster. But, world justice, in the form of a technically faulty aircraft, gave us three more days of rest in Turkey at the expense of Anex, though already at the Alara Hotel - the park (by the way, the service there is not bad, the food is better, but the old dead rooms and loses the territory and the beach) . These are the impressions I had about the hotel, about Turkey and about the rest in general. If not for the ugly service, the hotel could be really good. Even so: we are not particularly pretentious, we can endure queues at the restaurant, and dilapidated rooms, and “cool” waiter service, but dirty dishes are disgrace and chaos! We decided for ourselves that for now we will refrain from traveling to Turkey, Egypt, two heads higher in terms of service and quality of rest
