Hello! My name is Julia, I stayed in this hotel with my mother from 06/13/2010 to 06/23/2010. I'll start with the most important thing - believe me, the hotel, although 3+, but pulls on 4-ku!!!!!!!
The territory of the hotel is small, but at first sight I liked it : -)). On the first day, we were settled for a day in Sonas Alpina 4 stars, which is next door, because in ours there was a stir, all the rooms were busy, there were a lot of tourists. But we were not upset, we spent the night in another one (which we did not like at all, not cozy, the food was not tasty, etc. )
Hotel Astor is a cozy hotel, although with a small territory, but green, one pool with a slide, where the water is always at room temperature. The sea is actually, as they say in the reviews, 50m from the hotel, even as for me 20-30 meters from the hotel : -)))). Someone read in a review that the entrance to the sea on Astor beach is terrible, what can and cut yourself and break your leg, they’re lying! A little uncomfortable, but only when there are waves, but in general it’s very normal and small children and old people came in calmly and no one broke anything for themselves.

The rooms are huge - we had a two-room suite on the 5th floor -2505 overlooking the sea, the neighboring area with a swimming pool, and when you exit the room to the mountains : -)) very beautiful. The rooms are spacious and large, like a mini apartment : -))) The furniture is a bit old, but I didn’t even pay attention to it, because everything worked, nothing broke and I really liked our room! In such a retro style : -)
Food. For me, everything was perfect and good, but whoever likes to eat tightly, especially meat, then in this hotel strain with this. But you will never be hungry! The meat was in the form of fried, steamed, baked chicken, there was liver, fried fish, but only once or twice in our 10 days. But what kind of soups are prepared there !!!! ! I took it every day and was never disappointed, and what pastries, you just lick your fingers. For me, everything was very tasty and I am not disappointed in the food!
Animation. I won’t say anything for her, because they suck! Recently, good guys worked there and they were all praised in all the reviews, but they were fired and others were hired, which, to put it mildly, are none. During the day they are not visible, except sometimes (so for decency they will appear so that they probably do not get fired). The evening program is conducted by only one, I don’t even remember his name, so I didn’t remember them at all, the others stood like pillars forever and did nothing. It was only on the 4th or 5th day of my stay there that I realized who the animators were in our hotel. There is a girl Luda, so meticulous and nasty, horror! In general, everything is super, except for the animation !!!! ! But I had a good company there, so I didn’t get bored. Don’t be so scared that it’s just boring there, they sometimes held great competitions, but I didn’t like it anyway . .
We went with a company to discos with our animators, it would be better if we did it ourselves, otherwise they took them to the most lame ones, and they also paid them 6 USD, it would be better if they themselves got and hung out, and back with a company by taxi. They wanted to get to Havana, but they didn’t, but everyone says that this is the coolest club in Alanya : -))

They took Nijat from our guide (by the way, a very wonderful person, a clever one, he always helped us, was always there, advised only the best excursions and even said where not to go - money wasted, good job!!!! ) We took Pommukale-Efes ( 2-day) - I advise everyone, it's better than the one-day Pommukale Cleopatra pool and not much more expensive. But impressive! I want to express my deep gratitude to our wonderful person Egor Parfenkov, who was our guide on the Pommukale-Efes excursion, the excursion was wonderful, but without him it would not have been so impressive !!!!!!! ! He is a smart guy, a wonderful historical guide and person !! ! Whoever gets on it on excursions - say hello from Yulia Litvinenko! I also went to Cappakodia - I also liked the excursion, but not for everyone, because here you have to drive 1500 km to see two castles and beautiful mountain formations and that's it, but there will be impressions too lots of!
And I also wanted to say that the city of Alanya itself is very beautiful, green, the climate is wonderful, around the mountain! Mom had a rest last year in Kemer, she says that Alanya is better : -))))
And finally, I will say that do not hesitate to take or not a ticket to this hotel, take it boldly, you will like it there, the main thing is to tune in to rest, and not to find fault with everything : -))) I may go to this hotel next time too , or maybe it just lies in the fact that I love everything unknown and new : -))) Have a good rest, soft landing and feel free to go to Astor Beach !!!!!!!!!! !
