We rested with my daughter in this hotel, although we went to a completely different Grand Prestige in Side. Before that, I had never contacted travel agencies, I rested at a relative invitation, in private. It so happened that after driving away from the airport, we were told about these changes. Can you imagine where is Side, where is Alanya! The indignation and swearing in the bus that met us had no effect.
We arrived at the hotel - SHOCK !! ! Wasteland, around the construction site, the territory of the hotel is very small. I wanted to turn around and go home altogether, but then I got acquainted with the hotel administration. We were met by a sweet girl Natalie (photo attached) and seeing the upset tourists she began to calm us down in Russian, which was very nice. As it turned out later, she is the only one in this hotel who speaks Russian. There was nothing left to do but look around and try not to ruin your vacation to the end.
4 swimming pools: 1 for children under an awning, 2 large, 1 with slides.
Bar by the pool. Large amphitheater. The path to the court, which is illuminated in the evening, as well as the palm trees near the court, are also illuminated. Further, the underground passage (by the way, it’s not at all loose, cool! ) to the sea, 50-70 meters, and a wonderful well-groomed beach area begins. The entrance to the sea is difficult, because there is a pebble strip, two or three steps, and then sand, but four more steps and immediately deep (I don’t swim well, so it was a problem for me). Lots of empty seats at any time, whenever you come. The beach bar is open from 11:00 to 17:30 approximately. All drinks (alk. and non-alk. ), hamburgers, or rather its components, cutlets, potatoes, vegetables, sauces. Watermelons and wonderful hot pancakes baked right on the spot by a local resident (looks very colorful - photo attached). And always friendly smiling bartender.
When checking in, the garcon took our things to the room, but at that moment I was still angry, so I didn’t give a tip, but this did not affect further relations. Everyone, without exception, was friendly with us: bartenders, photographers, and cleaners. They cleaned every day, exactly at the time when we asked, towels were changed every day, linen was changed twice in 12 days of our stay. When I left a tip, they fulfilled my personal requests: to wipe the shoes, hang what I left on the bed on hangers, etc.
The waiters who served our table (we always sat down at a certain place) were courtesy itself. Five days later, having studied our tastes, they themselves brought us drinks - wine, juices.
We liked the food very much: you can choose for every taste, and vegetable dishes (stewed, fresh, etc. ), and fish, and meat, and pasta, and potatoes, etc. And pastries are beyond praise. Few fruits: watermelons, apples, oranges. There were no berries at all.
The pleasure is through the roof. There is where to have fun. The hotel itself suggests a relaxing meditative holiday. If you are tired of people, you want peace, peace and no noise after 24-00, come to this hotel in early June.
Separately, I can say that we went to Turkey with the sensational hemorrhoid tour operator Luktur, which gave us a lot of unpleasant moments (very weakly said !!!! ). Many of our tourists were sent to other hotels, at some point we were just in despair, but all the hotel employees brightened up our stay on vacation so much, they met us halfway in everything, and this attitude concerned not only us, but also the rest of our compatriots, I can say with confidence that in spite of everything we had a great rest in this hotel!!!
And as for love or not love for Russians, so excuse me, this is complete nonsense! We are also Russian, but apparently we ourselves were at the proper level, that we were treated with respect.
It is all the more pleasant for the Turkish side if at least one of the Russian tourists would take a Russian-Turkish phrase book with them. Take my word for it - verified! Or at least take the trouble to learn a few phrases in English. language, since you are going to rest abroad.
