SUMMARY for those who don't want to read a lot:

I have some strange impressions from staying at the hotel:
There are good rooms, but the reception freezes money for them, i. e. 99% will offer you bad rooms until you either offer money or make a scandal.
From block “B” you will be moved only with a surcharge and only if there are free rooms (this is legal and correct) and it will cost more than just buying a ticket to the main building.
THIN WALLS some tourists write in reviews: “like from cardboard”, I disagree, I will say like from paper. You can hear not only how they snore and fart, but also how they speak in a whisper and breathe. Our child at first was afraid to go to the toilet, because he heard voices there ....neighbors : )
The territory of the hotel is small, compact, but there is enough space for everyone.
Sports equipment, etc. , everything is old, shabby.
FOOD arranged, even I would say good, the staff in the restaurant is very friendly.

Gozlema did not like it, there is little cottage cheese filling, there is no meat in gozlema, the economy is very felt.
Hamburgers, more precisely “cutlets” are standard, Turkish, it is not clear from what, not tasty.
Cookies are poured out in the evening like birds and they are swept away in the first minutes, the volumes are very limited, there is not enough for everyone.
But, I am a man, weighing a little more than 100 kg, I love to eat, and I WAS ALWAYS FAT, there was enough food for all sorts of different things.
Alcohol was not the entire promised list (I don't drink), but those who drank vodka with cola were satisfied. : )
CHILDREN - Parents with children who were in a family hotel for the first time were satisfied, we were in different family hotels and I will say there is children's animation here ...so ...for a C grade ...
They write that there are a lot of children and they interfere, I do not agree, children (of different nationalities) did not interfere with us in any way, they behaved like children should, but within the limits of decency!
SMOKING - unfortunately the hotel is SMOKING and many smoke in the hotel, impudently, everywhere, even during children's performances, when there are only children around (people of different nationalities smoke). This is a big problem in the hotel! Smoking in the rooms! I was assured that this could not be, but in the rooms in all there are ashtrays! There are terribly smoky rooms, like a brothel!
The sea is next to the hotel, a few meters from it.
The beach is kind of sandy and pebbly but kind of dirty
In the sea, stones and boulders hurt many legs, especially when the waves are bigger.
There are no rescuers
The beach is not guarded and you can go to it from all sides without problems for any outsider.
The pools are highly chlorinated
Water slides are old, leaking, at the seams, like rolling on sleepers : )
My family and I left this hotel before the tour ended and lived a couple more days in Antalya, we liked everything there : )
I don’t want to go to this hotel (with its “calmly” disregard attitude) and I won’t go.

If you are satisfied with just “food, sea” and nothing else, or you are in Turkey for the first time, then you will like this hotel, BUT you will get a false impression about this country and its inhabitants!

On Google maps, I tried to place panoramic photos of the hotel and its territory, as well as the view from the balcony and a few guys from the staff.

There is a lot of information about the hotel in the VKontakte group clubhotelcarettabeach

DETAILED REVIEW

Strange as it may seem, but this time everything happened to me the other way around, not like before : )

namely: The hotel upset me,
and the guides and the tour operator made me happy this time.
such a turn of events for the first time.

FLIGHT

Iffly, oddly enough, delayed the flight THERE for 13 hours, 5 hours of rest, of course, disappeared (I thought so), and was upset at first, but then it turned out to be even more convenient for me.
BACK flight was delayed for 4 hours, i. e. almost compensated : )
We learned about all the delays in advance and they were not a problem for us.

The meeting party, as always, was on top (i. e. everything is fine, as it should be)

GUIDES

Guides are a separate topic:

The guides at the hotel were Shamil Rustemov and Ksenia Frolova, my family and I were very pleased with their work!

Shamil brought general information with jokes and jokes to our attention quickly and naturally!

If there were any difficulties at the hotel (and there were many), the GUIDES helped quickly and efficiently!

In all the actions of Shamil and his colleague Ksenia, professionalism, quality of service, 100% interest in the client (vacationers) were felt, the guys really enjoy their work and do it with joy, it is palpable!
Usually, if you haven’t bought a “million” excursions from a guide, you are not interested in him at all and he “sends” you tactfully with all your questions and problems, the first meeting is held so that you start to feel sick from THEIR obsession and pressure! ! ! BUT, these are the first GUIDES that completely changed my opinion about this type of service delivery ! ! ! !

The first meeting with the guide was quick, fun, easy, without straining, he told about the excursions quickly and interestingly, and then we discussed all the questions with each vacationer separately, told specifically about the services of interest and signed up for the excursions! ! !

This is the first time I meet such professionalism and non-obtrusiveness of the Guide! These are guides with a capital letter!
Shamil and Ksenia, unlike the director of the YUSUFA hotel (who pretended to deal with the issues of vacationers, sometimes leaving the office, walking around the hotel, asking simple questions, he emitted his interest) the guides actually met with vacationers (sometimes also walking around the hotel) were like themselves and constantly kept in touch with vacationers, REALLY solving problems!

The guides fully compensated for all the inconveniences and problems on our trip!

SETTLEMENT
I, my wife and my 7-year-old son arrived at the hotel at the beginning of the eighth evening.
The administrator on duty was handing over his shift to a partner and asked us to have dinner. And then go to check in.
After dinner at the reception, we were met by a gloomy, unfriendly man who spoke Russian very poorly. Having explained to him in English that my child and I love silence and ask for a NON-SMOKING room, we asked him to take this into account when checking in, he did not answer anything.
We were settled in a room on the second floor of the Caretta Beach building, on the left, at the very end above the shops and street vendors. The room was clogged sewer, there was no soap, towels, glasses and the room was terribly smoky.
I went down and asked for a replacement. The receptionist rudely barking at me mumbled something and then said in English that I should come back after breakfast tomorrow.
In the morning, unfortunately, he worked again.

I was offered a replacement room, it was even older and worse than the previous one, but the sewerage worked, I refused it. The administrator yelled at me and I went to look for a guide. After explaining the situation to the guide, I went to lunch. After lunch, the guide said that he spoke with them and they are ready to provide a good room with a view of the (not very) parking lot and those. Yard. I agreed (the view didn't bother me).
When I went up to the room, the following picture appeared before my eyes:
Everything in the room was smoky, they had just smoked, someone was resting violently on the beds, cigarette butts, a lighter, garbage and two glasses with the remnants of drinks were lying on the table. In the shower, 2 towels lay on the floor, it was wet and leftover soap suds! That is, the room was not only not cleaned and ventilated from tobacco smoke, but they simply DIDN'T ventilate it before showing it to me.
I went for a guide and showed him this number, he again went to “knock out” another one for us.
The fourth attempt was successful, we were given the number 222, the guide went to watch it with us.
The room turned out to be good, with serviceable taps, sewerage, liquid soap was tanks, BUT all items were only for two people. We liked the room and moved our things.
as it turned out in the evening, 2 bulbs in the room did not burn out, I asked them to change them for almost 2 days and after swearing they changed them, BUT after that the light went out at the exit from the room, in the corridor, it seemed to me that the bulbs were taken out of there and installed in our room.
SAFE
safe - $2 per day. A safe without a code, with a simple key, i. e. anyone can have a duplicate, unlike a code that only you know! In all rooms, safes are different in size, but I was lucky 5D mark2, a couple of lenses, documents, wallets, everything fit.
THE INTERNET

Wireless access to the Internet in the hotel is provided by Turk Telecom, authorization via hot spot
ACCESS PAID - $ 10 for the entire vacation or other billing (I did not use it)
LOGIN - your room number
PASSWORD, as I understand it, is your room number multiplied by eight, i. e.
if the room number is 424, then the password will be 3392 (424 * 8 = 3392) the algorithm is not complicated, but if you have not paid, then you most likely will not receive access even knowing the login and password.
ACCESS from devices

In one session, only one device can work on the network, that is, if you and your wife connect at the same time, then you will immediately start to be “thrown out” of authorization in turn! The laptop and the phone do not work at the same time either, i. e. if you have a service with two-step authorization, then there will be a problem!
Distributing from your phone or the like will not work either! I took a router with me and tried to set it up as a repeater, but the idea failed.
ALL DATA TRANSMITTED DURING THE INTERNET session is proxied and confidentiality is out of the question!
Wi-Fi coverage in the hotel is normal, i. e. there are many access points and even in the room you can connect to an access point.
BUT! Wi-Fi coverage is one thing, but accessing the Internet through them is another!
The Internet “Works” (in my opinion, this is called a POOR-QUALITY service in the Russian Federation and the consumer, at his choice, can demand either a reduction in cost or full compensation, termination of the contract and a full refund of the amount paid for the goods! )
IT LOOKS LIKE ALL transmitted data in Turkey is under the full supervision of the SPECIAL SERVICES, and they do not cope well with such a data flow, or the Internet for the entire hotel goes through a 4G modem or via an asynchronous satellite channel.
If in the Russian Federation ping will be from 6 to 60 milliseconds, depending on the connection method, then at the CARETTA BEACH hotel the ping during my stay was from 245m. sec to 20458 ms and the connection was constantly interrupted, the Internet could only work at night!
Calls on VIBER, whatsupp did not work for me even without video, only text and voice messages with grief in half.
IN MY VIEW, the quality of the paid Internet access service does NOT stand up to any criticism!
An alternative (not cheap! ) way to access the Internet is a SIM card from a local CC operator, the price of a SIM card with a tariff of about 10-14 GB of Internet will cost you about $ 35, if you buy near the entrance to the hotel, you can agree and return the SIM card before leaving and return about 5$

ANIMATION FOR CHILDREN
Stuffy room and stuffy place under a canopy with the smell of hot plastic, not ventilated.

Once, moving to the beach, we met a little girl who was crying and walking in confusion towards the hotel building (it should be noted that the hotel staff did not approach her, I have not seen this in other hotels)
We stopped and tried to help the girl. They asked her what her last name was and what her name was. It turned out that she was walking from the game room from the animator who was conducting a paid lesson and said: “.... to participate in the classes, your parents had to pay for them! ” and the girl went to look for her parents to ask for money, because.
she was not allowed to work with children alone.
I also told the director about this, but he doesn't seem to care, the main thing is to make money!

NUTRITION
The food at the hotel, in my opinion, is excellent and varied!
The restaurant staff is responsive, cheerful, professional and in general it is what it should be. THANKS TO ALL! Special thanks to Mr. ISMAIL and the chef (forgot his name, sorry)

Our Son had a birthday while staying at the hotel.
For the first time I meet a hotel in which they don’t congratulate a child on his birthday, at least they took the fruit from breakfast to the room on a plate and put it, already a sign of attention and congratulations! Even in Russia (I'm not talking about other countries), the hotel always congratulates children for FREE (in various ways) and often it comes as a surprise : )

THIS HOTEL WILL NOT GIVE YOUR CHILD A HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR FREE.
If you want, you can pay $20 and a beautiful table will be laid for you, a small but tasty cake will be baked and a couple of waiters will congratulate your Kid.
The second option - for $ 70, animators will congratulate him with crackers, that is, all this (or something like that) is usually done for free.

HAMAM
HAMAM rents a local OSLAN from the hotel)))) (Oslan seems to be a Lev, although it seems different to a Russian) Who, at first glance, seems like a pleasant person with his insinuating voice and without hesitation, he showers dubious compliments on everyone passing by him (a flatterer of which Mir I haven’t seen it)) but the aunts like it and this is the main thing; )

A visit to the Turkish bath HAMAM is included in the price of your stay at the hotel, it is written even in the hotel booklet in the room.
NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH SAUNA, it is paid!
Procedures:
Peeling, foam massage, regular massage, etc. You can order for money (about $ 25 at the hotel or with guides on the first day discount! )
My child asked for HAMAM and we, because
not for the first time in Turkey we went to the nearest market and bought soap, two bath towels, a peeling glove, a foam massage bag for about $ 10 (it is the most expensive of this set and accounted for 70% of the cost)
Having bought all this, we went to the bathhouse, but there was a paid procedure.
We were asked to come in later politely. . when we arrived later the situation repeated itself.
They came the next day at a different time, it was safer not to run into a busy hamam, but they didn’t guess, there was a paid procedure again and they asked us again ...we left that day and never returned ...
THIRD day fourth approach J
The hamam was empty, my son and I, rejoicing, began to settle down, but the happiness was short-lived ...5 people came in and the paid procedure began.
It was “cramped” in the hamam, and when I put the child on a towel and began to wash him with a mitten and (our) soap, Aunt Turkish (who did a paid service to another) shouted at us that we would be fined and that we couldn’t use the peeling mitt ourselves, foam bag and others like them!
“Well, you understand, if the guests see that they can do it themselves, the influx of customers to them will decrease ....»»
I said that this is complete nonsense “you can go to the bathhouse but you can’t wash” what the hell? !
The angry young lady ran away to the reception of the bathhouse and lied that we took took soap J
A young lady of Slavic appearance ran in (who, by the way, also did not have a pleasant smile and data for this work) began to shout at me and the Son without even understanding, after she saw that our soap was completely different and her own bath equipment, she became completely furious ( because

I realized that I was fundamentally wrong, but she was not going to apologize) she also ran away and called OSLAN ...just a fairy tale about a turnip turns out J)))
Aslan started to be rude to me, I asked all of them to introduce themselves and decided to complain about them to the hotel director, Mr. Yusuf. By the way, the staff at the hotel almost does not wear badges (perhaps they work illegally).
The young ladies refused to introduce themselves and disappeared, but Oslan continued to “admonish” me, explaining that:
“You are in Turkey, we have our own laws, or rather they do not exist! My bath and the hotel rents it from me (nonsense)! You can complain to anyone, even the Director, even the President, it will not change anything, but your life and the rest of your family will greatly spoil! Outside the hotel you will have problems!! ! ! »
After these threats, I finally decided to meet with the director of the hotel and resolve all the "painful" issues.
Declaring at the reception his desire to see the chef of the hotel and went to rest.
Unfortunately, they never made an appointment with the chef, time passed, I went to the reception and met with him myself, he said that he was busy and would meet me in an hour. An hour later, Mr. Yusuf did not receive me and began to hide from me. The next day, I wrote on the hotel website my request to meet with the director and after a while they called me and said that the director was ready to receive me and was waiting for me.
The meeting was long, about 40 minutes.
I told the director about all the problems (which other guests share with me but are embarrassed to talk about it), namely:
Old tennis tables with graceful curves
Killed tennis equipment, which has never been updated with us
About the lack of ventilation in the mini club and the stuffiness from which children and adults feel bad there.
About the terrible internet

About the meager number of outlets in the lobby, hall, and rooms (two outlets per room, I don’t even remember how long ago and in what country I saw this, in our electronic age of outlets they began to do a lot or put tees in the room if the room is old, like in Caretta Beach For example)
The fact that the pools are not cleaned, but only more and more chlorine is being poured
That there is no lifeguard or something like that on the beach (I have not seen this even in Russia for a long time. )
The fact that the “banshik” Oselan threatens the guests with some kind of reprisal (as it turned out, not only me)
and a few more points, and also noted some of the hotel employees, who, in my opinion, stand out favorably against the background of the rest of the mass:
The bar chef Mustafa, Ismail, a few guys from the restaurant, a guy from the reception (I think his name is Niko or Viko, I forgot : ))) he is very friendly, smiling, speaks Russian and helped me several times, it was a pleasure to communicate with him!
The Bilboys are very nice and helpful guys, the maid cleaned the room every day and did it perfectly! by the way, upon arrival in three people, they usually don’t give extra towels and cups to the room; you have to beg for them, and many couples just wait until everything is brought to them, but they don’t wait. After several unsuccessful calls to reception, my wife asked for a maid and she brought us a set of towels and a cup for the baby without any problems.
He asked me to reward them or somehow celebrate their excellent work!
The director, Mr. Yusuf, did not write anything down and was not going to change anything, but only asked to write a statement on Oslen so that they could kick him out of the hotel (since Oslan was tired of creating inconvenience to everyone in the hotel and the guests and the management), but the Turks are such people ...dirty they wanted to do the work with my hands, I refused, especially since Oslan, after my conversation with the director, became soft and docile and licked up as best he could.

IN THE HOTEL FEW SOCKETS 220v

If you have a camera, a couple of phones, a laptop or (and) a tablet with you, then most likely there will be difficulties with charging!

As I already wrote, the energy saving policy in the hotel reaches the point of absurdity! for example, the hotel as a whole is very dark, burnt out light bulbs are not changed for several days, the air conditioners in the hall are turned off in the evening and it gets very hot there
few outlets!
only 2 (two) in the room
There are only two in the lobby (1st floor) too!
in the lobby near the reception, I have not yet figured out where there is an outlet.

Bring a tee and a carrier
