Three of us rested - me, a child of 5 years and 10 months and my mother.
We returned from Turkey 2 weeks ago, it’s cold and gray at home, and in my soul there are still warm memories of the time spent in my beloved Karetta Beach!
I'll start right away with the fact that my husband and child and I already rested in this hotel 2 years ago, in September 2009, so the review will be mostly positive!
Once again, we used the services of Tez Tour, which we do not regret a bit, everything is arranged from the moment they left the airport building to the threshold of the hotel with a bang! They took us, handed us over to the reception, and there we were already met by an old friend Niko, who worked as an animator here 2 years ago! We were greeted very cordially, the room got a wonderful one, with a view of the sea, a fruit dish was brought to the room as a gift from the hotel, so all this set us up for a positive holiday from the first days. Judging by the reviews, the hotel was renovated in 2010 and it shows in everything!
The rooms are clean, bright, the carpet was removed from the floor, now there are tiles. I was especially pleased with the shower cabin, now there is everything you need for happiness! There is no longer a soul built into the wall, now everything is modern and convenient! The rooms themselves are regularly cleaned, linen is changed regularly, as well as towels, the cleaning lady is friendly, sometimes they left her a dollar and the attitude towards us was appropriate!
People, be more friendly and they will reach out to you!
The territory of the hotel has undergone changes and all of them for the better - they made a new swimming pool, an excellent mini-club and a playground, expanded the building itself from the entrance side and painted it in an optimistic blue-gray color! Peacocks are now walking around the garden, everything is green and pleasing to the eye!
The territory is not large, but everything is wonderfully thought out, every meter is decorated wisely.
The hotel itself is extremely well located in the village of Konakli, on the very seashore, away from the road and not far from the center of the village, which is convenient for those who like to walk and shop in the evenings.
The sea during our race was gentle and warm almost all the time, only one day it was slightly stormy. Shore
sandy, there were always enough sunbeds. In the sea itself there is a stone ridge, but on the second day of swimming
you know the bottom very well and swim through it! On the contrary, I liked swimming behind the stones more, there the bottom is even and the water is super transparent, and there are fewer people ...
The animation in our race consisted of Hasan, Soner and Nastya and was on top! Hasan is generally well done, he kept the mood of the whole hotel! Nastya is very kind and gets along with the kids, Soner made people on the beach and talked to play volleyball, water polo, darts...Hassan did gymnastics on the beach, did aqua aerobics in the pool, entertained people in the evenings...
and what chic club dances we are all together
danced ...Children's animation was carried out by Nastya, the children liked it, my child ran there! For adults, there were a lot of competitions in which people actively participated. One evening, the hotel administration invited all the re-holidays in Caretta Beach, got to know everyone and presented gifts for us. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that there are people who come here to rest for the 10th time! ! ! Here is an enviable constancy ...
The food has become better, more varied compared to the year before. Breakfasts have become more interesting, now pancakes and omelettes are fried every other day, they began to make fries for dinner, there is still an abundance of vegetables, fruits, sweets ...Meat is not enough, this is a fact, like everywhere else in Turkey, but chicken, offal and soy were present never had to go hungry!
Again, a lot depends on the food culture, who is used to eating at home, such a kitchen suited us one hundred percent - more vegetables and less junk food! From alcohol they drank mostly beer "Troya", quite worthy! Well, the gin in the bar is also not bad ...We drank coffee from the coffee machine, I fell in love with it from last years.
Shopping this year was successful, because it was the end of the season and merchants significantly discounted prices, the main thing is to bargain! Leather, textiles, linens, towels, belts and wallets, Turkish delight...I had to buy a big suitcase! We bought both near the hotel and in the village itself, it's a 15-minute walk to the left along the road. I want to note that a whole trading town was set up next to the hotel, 2 years ago it was not so large!
Once again, we used the services of the Kitabus travel agency, Rustam and Zulfiya are still warmly welcomed and sent on excursions at good prices!
We took a yacht tour and a trip to the SEALANYA dolphinarium, everything was very organized and we liked it!
Hamam was taken at the hotel, everything is very worthy. Mom also went to a massage course, she was satisfied.
We made friends with the hotel photographer Mahmud, he had an excellent photo session for us during the whole day, the photos turned out just wonderful! Mahmud turned out to be not only a professional, but also just a good person with whom it is pleasant to communicate!
Summing up my review, I would like to note that the "chip" of the hotel is a friendly attitude towards you in literally everything! You can go to the reception and chat, chat with the chef, find out how the photographer is doing...All this creates the feeling that you are at home and everyone is happy to see you, and it's worth a lot! We rested in more star hotels, but there was no SUCH attitude anywhere! There you were just an ordinary vacationer, on your own ...
What else can be noted is a certain stability, the hotel has many employees who have been working there for many years and they are all familiar to you.
Caretta Beach is a very worthy foursome and you should go there on vacation, you won’t regret it!
