Let's make a reservation right away that in our idea of five stars in this hotel we cannot talk, so we will simply try to describe the space that surrounded us during the two wonderful weeks of August 2013. =)
The hotel is located on the first line of the coast of the Mediterranean warm and azure sea, has its own pebble beach and an awesome pool with water attractions (working 2 hours - 2 times a day)... Well, actually, everything about the beautiful nature of Alanya... Now about the hotel... =)
Prompt check-in (and check-out =) in a cozy room, with a side sea view and direct to the roof of the kitchen, from where the whole palette of smells of Turkish cuisine and the ringing of dishes mixed with the sounds of the neighboring hotel's disco came around the clock. The room was cleaned regularly, with the change of linen and towels there were no problems. The truth is periodically on clean towels =) stains were found.

In terms of nutrition, everything is quite simple and monotonous: pasta, rice and vegetable side dishes always, 1 or 2 meat or chicken dishes determined by the characteristic line =), 1 fish, vegetable salads and local cheeses are available to you in any quantities 3 times a day. In between, there is a beach bar with snacks, fried chicken and shawarma. Late night soup is available from 11 to 12 pm. All food has a specific Turkish taste and smell. . . =) It's a problem with fruits, even by our Siberian standards - the fruits are completely tasteless and look very stale, and there were also short bananas given out by an angry Turkish chef 2 pieces in one hand =). The need to stand with a plate in hand, waiting for the table to be vacated and the queue to the most popular distribution lines, turned eating into an on-duty and painful procedure. Of the pleasant, only delicious sweets and pastries can be noted, which, however, were not always enough either.
Service and attendants deserve special mention. . . =) Local men and a few young ladies have a very vague idea about the service in the hotel business and catering claiming 5 stars. My family and I tried on the role of an animal on the farm, it seems like they are fed and watered, but at the same time they are not considered equal. Dishes and cutlery in bars and restaurants are chronically dirty and broken, changing tablecloths is optional, and cutlery that has fallen on the floor is not considered dirty. Sand and the smell of beer in "clean" glasses are not uncommon, but there is no need to talk about fingerprints on dishes. Plates of half-eaten food are snatched from under the noses of the guests at the discretion of the waiter, and an atmosphere of disdain or even disgust slips in the air. At the same time, one cannot fail to note the extraordinary service of the Turkish guests of the hotel, and all sorts of fueta in their direction, with cold drinks and reserved tables. Despite the obvious shortcomings and lack of professionalism, the guys were not averse to earning extra money on the vacation already paid for by the guests, offering to keep a reserved table for a small fee, choose clean plates and get fruit. In general, with the exception of individual characters, the team is untidy and unprofessional, leaving only negative memories of themselves. Adding to these full-time "specialists" a couple of freelance Caucasian clings with a standard set of photo-baths, gold fur coats and parachute, who daily overwhelm you with their "unobtrusive" offers, we get an exhaustive set of sensations for each guest of this five-star hotel. =)
The level of animation in the hotel fits perfectly into the thesis: "Wedding without a toastmaster", long, boring and slightly vulgar performances with drunken cries from the amphitheater with suggestions to push the stalled action, were in demand only among children who did not want to sleep and adults who had nowhere to run.
The only evening pastime, especially for the male half, was the Internet "every other time" and alcohol consisting only of an unpleasant smell. =)

Our unequivocal verdict: despite the good quality of the rooms and the good location, the hotel does not meet our requirements, due to the poor level of staff training and, as a result, the low quality of service, unacceptable in a hotel with 5 stars on the facade.
