The new holiday season begins, so the problem of choosing a hotel is very relevant. We rested in Dolphin with a family (2 adults + 2 children) in the fall. This is not the first time in Turkey, we try to relax only in 5 * Deluxe, so there is something to compare with. Upon arrival at the reception greeted with cool cocktails, sweets for children... that was the end of the pleasant.
The Russian-speaking manager of the hotel (I think his name is Gulnara or Gulmira, sorry for the inaccuracy), told us that there were no available rooms and offered us to stay for a while in a nearby hotel of the same chain - Delphin Botanik. : 2 gift massages in the hotel SPA, an umbrella, a dirty T-shirt and 2 baseball caps. And there were a lot of people like us, mostly Russian tourists, there were rooms for other Europeans. The manager was very kind, very sorry for the inconvenience and politely asked to sign a paper about the absence of any claims, while we were promised a car from the hotel at any time. Since we were with children after the flight, we had no choice and we signed.
But still, they gave us two bracelets and said that we can use the services and the territory of both hotels. We really liked this advantage.

Once in Botanik, our mood immediately changed for the better. We were given a wonderful family room. Although the hotel is old, it is very cozy. And the territory is a fairy tale, a lot of beautiful plants, flowers, trees. Excellent food and service, cleanliness everywhere. The staff is very polite and friendly. The most pleasant memories of this hotel! ! !
But a few days later we were informed that we could move back to Delphin Resort. The room that we were given did not suit us, but the other offers were not very attractive either. The rooms are small. Clean, bedding and towels changed regularly. The mini bar is filled every day: beer, nuts, cola, juices, chocolate bars. The hotel itself is very beautiful, the glass elevators are especially impressive.
The territory is large and beautiful. There are many pools, but the Germans and the Dutch usually sunbathed near them, ours rested mainly on the beach.
Meals for 5+, very tasty and in great variety. The first days we came from Botanica in a la carte for dinner at Dolphin (by appointment without any problems) were in Chinese and Italian. They cook deliciously, the portions are large - everything is not something that you can’t eat, it’s expensive to try! But in the main restaurant almost every day they presented their dishes from the cuisine of the world, so there was no need to go to the ala carte. Throughout the day, different bars and eateries work: there are baked potatoes, there are pancakes, ice cream... One caveat - for dinner in restaurants it was sometimes very difficult to find a free table. You have to arrive early. The waiters courted the Germans more, in our compatriots they were attracted only by tips.
The choice of good alcoholic drinks was in the lobby bar. In other establishments, only local production. Juices in packages are not bad, fresh juices in the bar near the indoor pool.
Excellent children's animation, the team there is international, but they communicate well in Russian. A wonderful playground and mini club, a lot of toys. The kids really liked it. Every day an interesting program, competitions, games, discos. Many thanks to the girls from the mini club, well done!!!

This evening was very eventful and an interesting show program. At the end of the evening, everyone was treated to cake and champagne. And in conclusion - fireworks.
Buses run from the hotel to Alanya and Manavgat 2-3 times a week, free of charge, by appointment. We decided to go to the market in Manavgat, signed up for an excursion at the reception. 3 days, on the day of our departure, and no apologies. The manager who, upon arrival, promised a car, was only indignant at our claims and pointed to the taxi rank. Taxi is inexpensive there, we bargained for $ 40 to Manavgat and back. The market is cheaper there, but there are few quality things . We also went to Alanya, I highly advise you to look. There is a beautiful embankment, especially in the evening when everything is on fire and there are a lot of yachts. .
In general, the holiday was a success: both my husband and the kids really liked the hotel. Everywhere was clean, good service, but the staff at the reception left not very pleasant memories. There was a constant difference in attitude towards Russian visitors and other hotel guests.
