Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday; For families with children
Dear tourists! Everyone will be interested in infa about the Drita Hotel 4 *.
So, we rested with a friend from 06/19/2010. until 07/03/2010, for 15 days.
We have been in Turkey more than once before, rested in different hotels, but we have not yet been rolled like that. Websites are full of lies.
1. There are no discotheques there.
2. The hotel is not a youth hotel and only pensioners and families with children rest there.

You draw conclusions right away, those who want to get exactly this are always welcome, but there is simply nothing for single guys and girls to do there. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. Nearby are attractions such as a gas station, a cemetery, a whole field with greenhouses, which have no end and edge. If you walk from the hotel towards the center of the village, then the next kilometer will be marked by the ruins of houses and plantations. Yes, and the beach is across the road, although not the worst in the village. There are almost no shops nearby. Through another hotel there is a "market" - products, souvenirs - all one by one. True, there is a store on the territory of the hotel: products with prices exactly three times more than outside the territory. For example, a sunscreen bought by us outside the territory cost $ 7, and at the hotel it cost 12 euros. When the seller converted into dollars, it almost got worse, it turned out $ 20. True, as he thought, who knows. The tool was the same, that there, that there. The bazaar with things came twice in two weeks, as we understood only on weekends from Friday to Sunday, i. e. two evenings. Since the territory of the hotel is small, we often went for a walk, so it's far from the shops, about 20 minutes walk. And to the center of Mahmutalar, where all life and the most interesting shops, 1 hour 10 minutes walk at a very fast pace. Checked five times.
So from the very beginning: We arrived at the hotel at 10.00 am local time on 06/19/2010. Filled out forms at the reception. The administration did not speak Russian, the suitcase porter translated everything for us. Proudly telling us that he came from Baku. So they announced to us that they would only check us in at 14.00. Those. we had to wait 4 hours.
We didn't like it, of course, we decided to sit and offer him denyuzhku. They called the porter and asked if it was possible to settle the matter a little faster. He said wait. After 2 minutes, he came up and said: “You see that administrator (by the way, there was a man of 30-35 years old, athletic build, good-looking), he is an alcoholic, give him a bottle of vodka and he will settle you. ” We were shocked. We answered: "But he does not want money. " Then he said that we need vodka, he is an alcoholic. We refused to give vodka. And we brought Parliament vodka, as everyone guessed from duty free, besides that there was a lot more. We decided to sit further out of harm, our hours, no matter how 20 minutes had passed, they gave us the keys to room 111. And at first they wanted to check us into a room on the ground floor, we immediately said that we would not check in below the first, and as they wanted.
The room turned out to be very decent, this is probably one of the few pluses. The furniture is normal, the toilet in the photo, see Chic)))) By the way, the water flowed fresh. Refrigerator is ok too. On the first day, they changed the safe for us, as ours did not close. The condo let us down, worked every other time, and turned off on a timer (it was impossible to redo it). During the entire vacation, day and night, we did not close the balcony, so as not to suffocate. . Our number went directly to the restaurant, the pool. And by the way, another minus, there are a lot of minarets nearby, they call to prayer so, often, so loudly that it’s just horror. I slept for the first few days covered with pillows so that it was not audible.

In terms of food, it's like everywhere else. But even here it was not without incident. Rotten meat was served twice. And for the period all the fruits: oranges, peaches, plums, nectarines, melons, were very green. Most of the apples are sluggish. The only thing that was tasty: cherries and watermelon.
Animation in the hotel is almost non-existent. There were 4 of them there. The animators always appeared at 11:00 o'clock in the afternoon, they played basketball on the beach. Disappeared at 16.00, sometimes appeared, performed water polo, disappeared and came only for dinner at 19.30 beginning, in order to agitate people to come to the animation, touted for a disco tour. Disco tour, it means like this: a bus arrives at 23.00 to the hotel and those who wish to have a rest of the hotel can go to Alanya for a disco for $ 10. Always accompanied by one of the animators. The first days everything was as written above about entertainment, but on the fifth day the animators began to appear only for dinner, so almost until the very end of our holiday. By the way, the disco was really there in 2009. But now there is no one to see her there, and the contingent has become not youth. Life in the hotel stops at exactly 23.00, when they go to the disco. Yes, and there was music for the background, only sometimes, when one of the animators came. Generally boredom. True, a disco was held in a nearby hotel, which you could also go to for $ 10. I bought a ticket at the box office.
Our only entertainment was the disco tour. We did not communicate with the animators almost, they did not like us right away. We only talked with the girl animator Eda, she invited us everywhere for the whole vacation, the rest bypassed. There was also her feather Serdar, and so the two of them are the most normal of all. But Serdar did not work there with us, he left there a week before our arrival, moved to work in another hotel, but often visited ours because of his girlfriend. He himself is from Turkmenistna, he knows 4-5 languages, so we communicated in Russian with him. There was also a barker from Hamam, he is also a Turkmen, he also speaks Russian.
By the way, we learned such a very entertaining thing in the middle of the vacation that the administrators know Russian, she herself heard them say it, but for us the whole vacation they pretended not to know. The hotel rested mostly only Germans and Turks. There were Russian Germans, but we did not communicate with anyone, we heard how Russian and German were spoken to each other. They don’t like Russians from Russia, we don’t know why, the attitude is boorish. By the way, we heard from one family that they paid $70 each at the reception for two rooms on the third floor, a total of $140. They left their wish in the guest book, thanked them for their human attitude, and at the bottom there was an inscription “The administration is hamlo! ”. In the middle of the holiday, they stopped us at the reception and took away the strawberries that we bought outside the hotel at the same bazaar on the day off. They said that it was impossible, and they were taken away in the truest sense of the word. And they said that according to the rules of the hotel you can’t bring food, they said go wash it on the beach, and eat it there. Moreover, you can wash it on the beach, only in the shower where you rinse it (it's okay, yes! ). Without hesitation, we had a room on the first floor and went through and put strawberries in the beam, went to the room ourselves, and our room could only be reached by going through the reception, so the porter went and pulled her out of the balcony while we went around. We got angry, in fact, in general, chaos. We went to the reception, took it away from them, said that we would leave the hotel with a package (by the way, the package is transparent in the bazaar). So the porter and the administrator followed us to see where we would go with the package to the very road that we cross in the hotel underground to get to the beach. So we had to go around the whole beach, and go down first to the wild beach next to the cemetery, and then to our own. So we came to the beach, and the porter was standing in the tunnel, like on a lookout, so as not to miss us. The matter ended successfully, we took a beach bag, went to the room, put strawberries there, on top of a towel, sat on the beach for about 15 minutes to be left alone, and so we dragged the strawberries into the room, it’s good that they didn’t force the bag to open. So you conclude, buy everything in a black bag, or buy from them at crazy prices, or eat green fruits. By the way, about this stupid rule, see the photo, this sign hangs at the entrance to the hotel at the reception (main building).

Cleaned in the hotel well, clean.
Here, in principle, is the history of the rest, we hope everyone has concluded what kind of hotel it is, we know for sure there is not a foot more, in Mahmutlar, if possible, too. Since there are basically all German hotels and no better. People pay more for better conditions or go to those hotels that you know!! ! We hope our story helped everyone. Posting photos to back up what we say.
