My husband and I were in Turkey for the first time, we were very pleased with the choice of the First Class hotel! The hotel is located a 30-minute drive from Alanya, a 20-minute walk from the center of the village of Mahmutlar. I really liked the fact that the hotel is located at a distance from other hotels, and not like in Mahmutlar or Alanya, where hotels are literally right next to each other. The hotel has a good view. There are rooms with sea views, but we had a view of the mountains and in the distance the village of Mahmutlar - also quite good, although the greenhouses with banana grass spoiled the view a little. The only inconvenience from the location is the road from the airport and back, which takes 3 hours. We arrived at the hotel at about 11 o'clock in the afternoon, at the reception they said that the check-in was after 14.00, but to our joy the room was already ready for us at 12.30. , but apparently it was necessary to pay extra for this, as in other hotels, because they gave a room that went exactly to the disco, although they said that the music was not loudly heard there. At first they were upset, but then they decided that although the music is heard from 11 p. m. that it's hot enough during the day. The room is cozy, clean, well furnished, with a balcony. On the balcony there are nice solid chairs and a table, not plastic ones like in many other hotels. They cleaned the room and changed towels every day, constantly replenished soap, shampoo, toilet paper. The bed was changed several times. The maid on our floor was always friendly, cleaned well, for which we left her a tip of $ 5 and she cleaned us with redoubled diligence. There was no theft, although we immediately took a safe for $ 2 per day and kept all valuables in it. The hotel itself is very beautiful: a huge beautiful chandelier in the center of the hall, beautiful stylish sofas with pillows and armchairs in the hall and lounge. There is free internet via WiFi in the lobby, it’s a pity we didn’t take a netbook with us (we were afraid that it wouldn’t fit in the safe, but it would fit), a lot of people were on the Internet. We were very pleased with the kitchen, the food was very good, a huge variety of dishes - well done cooks. For breakfast there were cereals of various types, baked vegetables, pancakes, scrambled eggs, always boiled eggs, various salads, preserves and jams, a whole table with different types of cheeses. Very tasty baked bread. Rice is always different and always very tasty, I really liked the zucchini, stuffed eggplant. There was always meat: chicken, beef, liver. Fruits are different, I especially liked watermelons, plums, oranges, grapes, apples, there were also melons, peaches and apricots - not very (as if not ripe). In the evening, be sure to grill meat, chicken or fish - also very tasty. The waiters were great - they cleaned the tables very quickly, they were very friendly and attentive. Once, when we had difficulty with a free table, they even helped us find a seat. I liked the service very much. Many thanks to Richard - he explained everything to us when we checked into the hotel, and then he always helped us if we had any difficulties. We do not regret that on the day of arrival we accepted his offer to visit the hammam, steam room, sauna, pool and massage for $45, but we bargained for $40. Loved it, very relaxing. In addition, after the first session, you can then use the steam room, sauna and indoor pool in the SPA center for free - which we did every day. After that, the street seems not so hot, I advise everyone - it's worth it. I really liked the general aroma massage, which was done by the excellent massage therapist Adilet - I highly recommend him to everyone, I can’t say anything about other massage therapists. I myself went through 12 massage sessions, my husband went through 4 sessions - he was massaged on his back and he didn’t really like it. Almost all hotel staff speak Russian, which is especially nice. A very good impression was left by the seller of watches and glasses, Yusuf - very sociable and pleasant, although he speaks English. We bought a waterproof watch from him - we were very satisfied, we swam in them as much as we wanted and were not afraid to miss lunch and dinner. In the hotel shops, the prices are quite affordable - the same as in Alanya, we specially went to compare prices, we thought it was cheaper in the city. The only thing that I didn’t like very much, as many have already written, was our hotel guide Shahin from the Coral travel tour operator. But that's not the fault of the hotel itself. Firstly, I do not advise anyone to exchange dollars for Turkish lira with him at the extortionate rate of 1.5 tl for $ 1. We drove to Alanya by taxi for 2.5 lira and in the center right at the bus stop at the exchange office they changed us at the rate of 1.73. Although Shahin convinced everyone that at the rate of 1.6 they change only in the capital of Turkey. So it's best not to trust him. In addition, it is very unpleasant in communication. We approached to ask about the schedule of excursions, and he began to impose on us a two-day excursion for $145. After we refused and said that it was expensive for us and we simply didn’t want to, he began to say that why did we come to Turkey without money at all. As a result, we turned around and left, and decided not to go on any excursions, especially since many of them scolded in the reviews. Yes, we had a great rest even without excursions, since the main purpose of our trip was to swim in the warm sea. I also didn’t really like the fact that the slides do not work all day from about 10 to 12 and from 14 to 17. And besides this, all three slides work extremely rarely and not for long at the same time, usually only two of them or even one, which creates a small queue apparently save energy. Even before the trip, it was frightening that the hotel did not give bottled water to the room. But you can get out of the situation by drawing water in a dispenser into a bottle in the hotel lobby - this is the only thing that you can bring with you to your room. There was a situation when in the evening the cold water in the dispenser ran out, then we bought water at the bazaar from the hotel at an affordable price - 1 lira (about 17 rubles) for a 1.5 liter bottle. In Irkutsk, water is more expensive. In August the sea was very warm, blue and clean. True, a few days after the storm brought some debris near the shore, but it was clean near the buoys. The beach was clean at first, and then apparently they scattered the urn with cigarette butts and became dirty. We always had enough sunbeds, we took our own towels. Entry into the sea on the right side of the pier is normal, on the shore there are small pebbles in the water near the coast of the plate from past volcanic eruptions, but they are smooth and did not cause trouble. The depth begins almost at the very shore, but since we know how to swim and the salt water itself also keeps afloat, this did not cause trouble. There is a whole flock of fish near the pier, so it is also interesting to swim in a mask. The animation team is also great - they are trying. I especially liked David and Vova - favorites of the kids. True, children's animation seemed somewhat monotonous. First, after dinner, they show cartoons for an hour, then an hour for a children's disco with the same set of dances. Adult animation is more interesting, I especially liked the Fire Show performed by the animators, and we also got to dance during the days of Georgia in Turkey, when the dance group came. We went to the disco only three times, in principle, not bad, but we don't particularly like club music. And it seemed that every day they twist the same thing. Although nice with multi-colored rays and smoke, a spinning spotlight is still turned on every evening on the roof of the neighboring KLAS hotel. True, we never had enough before the foam party. In general, we liked everything very much. Therefore, we were not sorry to leave tips in boxes for waiters and cooks in the restaurant. Personally, I was completely delighted with the trip and vacation. We did not regret for a moment that we chose this hotel. Indeed, probably, a lot depends on a positive attitude and desire to have a good and pleasant rest.
