This was my second trip to Turkey. This time I chose not the hot August period, but the beginning of the season, i. e. from April 27.2012. to May 10.2012 , so the vacation coincided. To be honest, as my acquaintances locals warned me, the weather can be different - with luck. So I took a bunch of things with me from warm sweaters to T-shirts. You may not have to swim, at least for the Turks - this is extreme and they themselves go during this period still in rather warm blouses or even jackets. As it turned out, "ANEX" likes to "steal" from tourists the time included during the holidays, so out of 14 days only 12 remained, because 2 days were spent on the road. Therefore, having arrived at the hotel at about 12.00 am local time, we had no choice but to go to bed. It was sooo cold, fortunately, the blankets were woolen. Already on the second night, we realized to turn on the air conditioner for heating and the problems with heating the room were resolved. We got a room on the 2nd floor in the 6th block No. 608, we had to climb a few steps up and we were at the goal (we didn’t have to use the elevator). There were not very many vacationers in the hotel and they were mostly Russians and a few Ukrainians. They have already adapted and in the morning already at 7.00 (I repeat that it was far from hot + 14-16) stomped in summer-like clothes for breakfast, while my teeth did not fall from the cold and adaptation (warming up) of the body it lasted 2 days, including in the bathhouse operating on the territory of the hotel, or rather the steam room, because the rest of the services in the Turkish bath are paid - 25 bucks of the procedure for 2.5 hours. But! you can order separately massage and other services also separately. Many have already swum in the sea, but I never had a sore throat brought from Russia. From 28 to 30 April 2012 the sun was hot like crazy and I didn't leave the beach. The bar on the beach just started to work, drinks were offered there: tea, coffee, but nothing stronger than beer was offered on the beach. Beer "Efes" is real, not yet diluted. Also vegetables, fruits, hamburgers, french fries, and a Turkish woman baked the famous gozleme flatbread. On May 1 and 2 it was overcast and drizzling. After May 3, the weather was clear, only at times the sky was covered with a light haze of clouds. . And from that day on, I completely entered the rhythm, began to swim in numerous pools (there are 3 of them including indoor), but especially actively in the sea, the water in the sea was +21 degrees. The food at the hotel is endless, starting from 7.00 until late supper in the form of soup until late at night. All inclusive until 23.00. Because there were not many vacationers, and the beach is large, which is very comfortable - no one interfered with anyone. Entry into the sea for the Alanya coast is quite tolerable, but to be sure, it is better to go in flip flops, as we did, or in coral slippers (we also had them with us). There is sand on the beach, and at the entrance there are large pebbles, turning into boulders, if you cross them, then you can swim freely. The pier at that time was still dismantled and not suitable for use, it was just beginning to be reconstructed. The territory of the hotel is very large and shows the age of the hotel, because very tall palm trees, orange fruit trees, date palms, ficuses, etc. of unknown origin, but very beautiful. The hotel rooms are very large and very well refurbished. . We had a 2-room: in one room there are 2 single beds, in the second - a TV, such as a sofa, but you can also sleep. The food was very good and was distinguished by the large presence of greenery, which was necessary after the winter. They even gave us strawberries and ice cream. And of the essentials, there were always meat and fish on the table, they even cooked tuna on the grill right in front of you. The animation was only gaining momentum, but the children were delighted. The Russians, who love to drink and party, could also do this, they say, once there was even a fight. The staff is friendly and very unobtrusive. The room was cleaned daily, but we were unlucky with the time - in the region of 17.00-18.00, just at this time I already wanted to return to the room and clean up before dinner. But no, I had to wait, or refuse to clean at all. Konakli is a small village with high prices for things, but since the season was just beginning, you could get a discount on a particular product. Also, once a week (on Wednesdays) a market came, it differed from the markets in Russia by the presence of a large number of fruits and vegetables at low prices. For example, 1 kg. strawberries cost 1.5-2 dollars. This is the first greenhouse-grown crop in Turkey, and there will be a second one - soil, closer to autumn. In general, I really liked the rest, especially the prices for the service received, currently this ticket costs 2.5 times more expensive!! ! Conclusion - at the opening of the season you can get the same service without dying from the heat and constant crowds in the pools and in the restaurant, without the constant hunt for sunbeds, and having arrived in Russia in early May, surprise everyone with your stunning Mediterranean tan.
