Second time in Turkey. We rested at the hotel from August 4 to August 24.2008. Well, what can I say. The hotel certainly does not pull on 5 stars. up to 3 plus. let's start in order.
First, I would like to praise Transaero Airlines. no delays, excellent service, flew calmly (which is very important at the moment).
We took a ticket to Polar. This is where we got nervous. Registration began for the plane, but we could not get documents with a ticket at the airport. You see the Polara agent is late! But even so, we managed to get registered and board the plane.

Hotel. They brought us early, so we had to wait until 2 o'clock in the afternoon until the rooms were vacated and cleaned. As luck would have it, they had a power failure and the air conditioners did not work, so they died from the heat. We decided to give money for 20 dollars at the reception, so that the room was good with a view of the sea and the pool. We got the room in the main building (fifth) already on the 4th floor. At first we were just speechless from the view from the balcony. Beauty!! ! And they decided that suits. But! Starting to unpack, we began to notice flaws in the room. Either the wallpaper peels off in some places, then there are stains on the carpet, as if acetone was poured, then a hole under the air conditioner, the bathtub flows when you wash, the sheets sometimes come across with holes. Ants are crawling. We decided to complain and change the number. We went to the reception and tamyu... We were greeted with rudeness, despite the fact that they threw them 20 dollars! They said if you don't like it, change the hotel!! ! After that, all respect for the Turks was lost ! ! many times later I heard how at the reception they swear about the rooms, especially the bathrooms.
Food. Monotonous. We didn't expect meat. This white sauce, which everyone and everything was watered, is an abomination. I sat there on tomatoes, cucumbers, rice, noodles, potatoes, chicken sausage, sausages. The rice is delicious!!!! ! There are three more restaurants (Turkish, Italian, fish) In Turkish, very tasty lamb. In fish - farelka overeating. Italian is crap. The ice cream is amazingly delicious.
Territory. She saves the hotel! Lots of greenery, the main pool is good. The beach is wonderful. Generally beautiful.
Animation. At first they were delighted. They showed musicals, etc. But. After a couple of days, this animation started to get annoying. Disco in the hotel itself in the basement with air conditioning, but we did not like the music.
The staff, except for the receptionist, is good, polite. There are really good workers, we then gave them tips. Eat of course and sticky!
The maid first changed the current garbage in the bathroom and towels with toilet paper. I didn't even think about vacuuming. I'm not talking about the dust on floor lamps. We decided not to swear, but just come up and say a dollar to you and vacuum it up. we arrive, everything is cleaned, clean, there is a pattern on the beds from the blankets. generally okay.
The mini bar was filled once - they threw a bottle of cola. all!
Another cons - in the halls on the floors stuffiness and incredible dampness !! ! at least one air conditioner per floor!

I want to mention the tattoo artist Nicko. A very good guy. Polite and pleasant to deal with. Even made friends.

At the end of the vacation, we talked with many vacationers and found out that our room is still a fairy tale! Although there is wallpaper and a carpet! in other rooms (including bungalows) the walls are simply whitewashed and the floor is ordinary concrete!! ! And this is in a 5 star hotel!!
So it's not in vain that we gave 20 dollars. The only building with good rooms is 7 with glass balconies. he is the newest. But the windows do not seem to overlook the sea.
In general, we will not return to this hotel again! Were last time in Sapfir in Kanakly, Alanya. that hotel used to be 4 stars, but what a!! ! can not be compared with the conti park, and the advantage is not the last.
