Hello everyone who is going to Katya!
We went to rest with a 5-year-old son in July for 2 weeks. This is not the first time in Turkey, there is something to compare with. I'll tell you more.

RESETTLEMENT. We were brought to the hotel at about 12 noon, asked to wait a bit. There was a crowd of 10 people at the reception, they were moved from other hotels. We were lucky: there were places and at 14.00 we were already in the room. There really are problems with the availability of rooms, there is nothing to be done here - neither persuasion, nor money, nor scandals will help. You just need to be patient and wait, it's worth it. While waiting for the room, we walked around the entire territory, went for lunch, signed up for a Turkish bath and a massage. The hotel employs professional masseurs, in 6 sessions (the 6th was free) my back was cured. Many thanks to the masseuse Lisa!

ROOM: small but cozy. As I understand it, most of the rooms with sea views, we got just that. There is everything you need.
There are bottles of water in the fridge, which you can then use at the bar with water or iced tea. Room cleaning is good and does not depend on whether you give a tip or not - the flowers on the beds were laid out anyway. The balcony is small, for the most part it functions as a dryer! If the air conditioner is turned on in the room, then it immediately becomes +50 on the balcony, and things dry instantly.

FOOD: wonderful - fish, chicken, beef, mushrooms, lots of vegetables, mashed soups, salads, pastries, fruits. Nevertheless, it was difficult to feed the child - he even ate familiar food poorly. I fed him yogurt from the store. In the evenings, pizza was fried on the street, 2 times a week - chicken on the grill. There was a lot of food, I don’t understand the reviews about the monotonous food. I agree about juices from vending machines - water with paint: the son drank a glass of juice supposedly "Kiwi" - he walked for a long time with an indelible green "mustache", so they also bought juices in the store.

BAR: The staff is attentive, smiling.
From booze in the bar - a standard "Turkish" set - beer, whiskey, white and red wine, raki and regular vodka. Everything is weak (diluted). What more could you want from a foursome? Claiming Hannessy just because it's all-inclusive? )) But what struck me was that the bar closed at 12 at night, the lights were turned off and all the vacationers were asked to leave. People in the dark did not really want to sit, so the people obeyed and dispersed ...

BEACH: small, fairly clean. I don't remember that we ever ran out of space on the beach. The sea behaves unpredictably - either calm or stormy. But in a storm all the pebbles were blown into the sea, only sand remained)) In the afternoon, for some reason, it was on our beach that the local population came with families with children, and local fishermen stood at the edges with fishing rods to swimmers. What they caught there is not known, but at that time the desire to swim sharply disappeared.

SHOPPING: You have to bargain everywhere, which is very tiring.
On Monday and Thursday, the market comes, it is located right next to the hotel, 100 meters away. You can buy souvenirs, sweets, textiles there at prices several times lower than even in local shops. It is better to buy leather in large state stores, in small ones it is dangerous. On the territory of the hotel there is a point from the PONTO store, its representatives organize trips to the center of Alanya, where there is a large store. I did not count on such purchases, I went just for the sake of curiosity, but returned with an excellent quality item - I bargained with the director for 2 days, and finally bought it at the price I wanted. In our city it is much more expensive, I have already checked. Moreover, she paid with a card, upon arrival she looked - not a single extra penny was withdrawn.

TRANSFER: we went from Coral Travel, there are no complaints about the transfer, the girls are very competent.
True, the hotel guide Natalya Kovalenko, who is categorically contraindicated to work with people, was very upset. She could not clearly answer a single question, but in response she rushed at people like the Baskervilles' dog, raised her voice, treated everyone with aplomb and incomprehensible arrogance. Our group was shocked by this behavior. I traveled a lot, but I have never met such a "guide".

EXCURSIONS: the hotel guide somehow did not want to buy, and the prices were very high. We bought a yacht tour on the street for $15 and received a lot of positive emotions (in the hotel such an excursion cost $50, those who took it were not very satisfied). And so we have traveled all over Turkey for a long time.

ANIMATION: Well done guys! Both children and adults were entertained all day long: during the day - in the pool and on the beach, in the evening - on the playground (mini-disco for children and an hour-long program for adults).

My son has learned all the songs in English and German, sings them every day and dances)). From 23.00 to 2:30 animators for $ 5 took out those who wished to the center of Alanya for a disco.
I was pleased with the contingent of vacationers - a lot of young people, families with children. I have never seen drunken staggering bodies)) Maybe it’s not for nothing that they give diluted alcohol!

In general, my son and I are very satisfied with the rest. I will be glad if my review is useful to you!
