Review of the Kaila Beach Hotel in Alanya

Unfortunately, our stay at the Kaila Beach left us with more negative impressions than positive ones. Honestly, I wouldn't choose this hotel again and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

Rooms and Housekeeping

The first thing that was very disappointing was the rooms. They are very cramped, with very little space. The balcony is barely even a proper size: about 60 cm wide and about 1.20 m long. It's practically impossible to turn around there, let alone sit comfortably for two.

Housing is also a major issue. The rooms are cleaned very superficially. Sand wasn't properly removed from the floor, and it seemed like you couldn't expect a high-quality cleaning without a tip. Even after cleaning, there was no sense of cleanliness.

Changing towels and bed linens is a separate issue. We had significant problems with this during our stay, and we didn't see any regular replacements.

Moreover, the hotel itself feels untidy overall. For a hotel of this level, this is, to put it mildly, strange.

Animation

The animation is practically nonexistent.
During the day, the entertainment offered was about 15 minutes of water polo and 15 minutes of darts. And that's essentially it. We didn't see any exciting program, normal activities, or entertainment for vacationers.

The evening entertainment was a complete letdown. If you're expecting fun evenings, shows, an engaging program, and atmosphere, you'll find practically none of that here.

"All inclusive"—but not everything.

I was very surprised by the number of paid services even with the "all inclusive" concept.

For example, cocktails like mojitos and other similar drinks cost 12 euros per cocktail, and from what we've seen, it doesn't make much difference whether it's alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

Services advertised on the website, such as the hammam and other such services, are actually paid.

Free services include a sauna, which operates at approximately 40 degrees Celsius, and a steam room. But even there, the experience was so-so: everything worked very poorly, and I couldn't fully enjoy it.

It's a rather strange situation: the website advertises a lot, but in reality, you have to pay extra for a significant portion of the services.

Food

Food is another drawback.
The selection is limited, and the food is quite monotonous. After a few days, it starts to feel like you're eating practically the same thing. We didn't experience the variety you'd expect from an all-inclusive vacation.

I can't say we went hungry, but we definitely didn't enjoy the food.

Water Park

The hotel has three slides, but only one—the blue one—is actually usable.

On the other slides, every bump is so noticeable that riding becomes less of a pleasure and more of a struggle to avoid bruising your entire body. Therefore, of the three slides, only one can be considered fully functional.

Beach

The beach is a particular disappointment.

There are so many people. So many that sometimes there's literally 5-10 centimeters of space between swimmers in the water. It feels like you're in a crowded pool, not at the sea.

It's also practically impossible to get away: there are slabs all around, entry into the water is awkward, and it's not always possible to swim properly.

For those looking for a relaxing seaside holiday and the opportunity to swim properly, this is a major drawback.

Beach bar
The free beach bar is very limited. The selection is minimal, nothing special.

Meanwhile, a normal, more interesting bar requires a fee. And again, the question arises: where is the advertised "all-inclusive"?

Conclusion

Overall, the hotel left a feeling of a significant discrepancy between expectations and reality.

Small and cramped rooms, a tiny balcony, poor cleaning, no regular linen and towel changes, virtually non-existent entertainment, monotonous food, paid services for the all-inclusive package, paid cocktails for 12 euros, a weak free beach bar, an overcrowded beach, and an inconvenient sea.

The only positives for us personally are the location and the fact that our particular room, fortunately, was free of bedbugs. However, we've heard stories from other vacationers about bedbugs in other Kaila hotels, so I can't ignore that either.

Would I recommend this hotel to anyone? Definitely not.
For this price, in my opinion, you can find a much better option in Alanya, where you'll truly feel like you're getting a full-fledged vacation, rather than constantly searching for something extra to pay for.

If you're coming to Turkey specifically for the sea, good food, decent entertainment, and quality service, I wouldn't consider Kaila Beach.
