When the question arose about resting in Turkey, the travel agency manager offered us the hit of the 2008 season, the Klas Dom 4 hotel - not to be confused with the Klas hotel. They are located at a decent distance from each other. To be honest, we have no regrets.
The flight from St. Petersburg to Antalya was early, upon arrival we went through all the necessary procedures without delay, we were met by Alma-Tour representatives, placed in a comfortable bus, and we went to our destination. I note right away that the road from Antalya to the village of Mahmutlyar with all the arrivals at hotels and a small parking lot takes about 4 hours. But the guide did not let us get bored. All the way she talked about the country, about the opportunity to visit excursions and about safety rules.
1. Hotel Klas Dom 4 is located in the center of the village of Mahmutlyar, a road separates the hotel from the beach. The hotel itself consists of three buildings, the so-called blocks A, B and C. Moreover, block C is located outside the hotel, rather unpresentable, with small rooms, and, according to vacationers, not quite comfortable. The hotel has 3 swimming pools, bars, there is very little greenery due to the small area, there are 3 water slides operating on schedule, a shop, currency exchange, the main restaurant inside the hotel, but there are places for accommodation on the street in 2 floors. Elevator one. You’ll get tired of waiting, so we walked to the 5th floor, it didn’t bother us at all. It was possible to sit in the hall, drink drinks (it was forbidden to take them out into the room, as well as food). For violation of the rules, if a tourist gets caught, a fine of 10 dollars. Got caught more than 3 times, you can consider that you are "persona non grata" for the future, since the data of the violators were entered into the computer and it is highly likely that the next time the hotel will refuse this tourist. There was a pay phone in the hall, cards for it could be bought in the shop at the hotel.

2. Standard room is small - 17 m2. For two it's ok, for three already with strain. Since it was difficult to open the closet due to the extra space, the door rested exactly on the side of the bed. The furniture is new, the safe for an additional fee in the room. A small refrigerator was built into the table and was offered free of charge. Individual air conditioning worked properly, TV with a bunch of channels, including Russian ones.
Bathroom with new fixtures, instead of a shower, we had a bathtub. It is convenient in terms of washing, even the basin was attached.
Hairdryer with low power, but quite comfortable and worked properly. Each tourist was given 2 towels - for the body and for the face. If you need to replace them - throw them on the floor. Linen changed every 3 days. If you want the maid to clean your room more carefully, then leave a tip - $ 1 after 2 days will be enough.
3. The food was varied, just excellent, in my opinion, they crawled away from the meal with stuffed bellies and there was no strength for something else. The all inclusive system worked from 10 am to 11 pm. Until this time and after all drinks, including water, were paid. But we had no problems with water - there was a store near the hotel, where for $ 1 we bought a 1.5 liter bottle of water and kept it in the refrigerator.
Breakfast - standard, continental, rather monotonous. I was pleased with the pastries - piping hot and awesomely tasty.
Lunch - 2 types of soup, various vegetables - raw, boiled, stewed, fried, in combination or separately. A lot of greenery. Garnish 3-4 types, meat dishes 2-3 types.
Afternoon snack - coffee or tea to choose from with pastries. Well, very tasty.
Dinner is richer than lunch. Had a couple of barbecues. Once we got on a fish steak - they cook it amazingly tasty. The main thing is not to come to the end of the meal, when the main thing has already been eaten, and they may not bring you a new one.
Fruits in the form of watermelons and melons were present at breakfast, lunch and dinner in unlimited quantities. Sweet table - baklava, mousses, creams, buns, nougat, everything is fresh, very tasty and in unlimited quantities.

Of the drinks offered coffee - take better with milk. Tea - I counted at least 10 types. That is, the system is as follows - you collect boiling water in a cup and choose bags on the table. which you want. There is also a sugar dispenser. There are black, and fruit, and green, and herbal and in a mixture. In general, for every taste. Lipton tea.
There are also drinks like "Yuppie" from the machine, the bartenders pour fanta, sprite and cola (not diluted). Beer, of course, not very, but you can drink. I recommend that lovers of good beer go to the supermarket and take "Efes" - a little expensive, however, 2 dollars per can, but at least drink a normal beer. Wine from barrels - white is impossible to drink, red - so-so, of course, not of the best quality. Fans can go to the store - not at the hotel, which is much more expensive, but there are several supermarkets 150 meters from the hotel.
4. Pebble beach, medium pebble. The entrance to the water is limited by huge boulders, but someone cleared 15 meters wide. And on this "patch" everyone hangs out. That is, you can safely go in without the risk of falling or skinning your legs.
The beach is connected with the hotel by an underground passage - only 50 meters. Absolutely not annoying. Sun loungers, mattresses and umbrellas for hotel guests (identification mark - a bracelet) are free of charge, it is better to take them in advance, because it may not be enough. But there is a "wild" area where you can spread your towel and lie around. You need to take your own towel, it is forbidden to take it out of the room. I did not find changing cabins, but there is a shower and a toilet, there are vending machines with water or "yuppies", a bar located on the territory will be paid for you - it has nothing to do with the hotel.
5. I didn't like the animation. Two or three Turkish comrades walk around and offer to play beach volleyball - yeah, especially in the heat of 40 degrees and some other fun. But we did not use their services. In the evenings, a children's disco (up to 12 years old) was organized to Turkish rhythms. a couple of times there was a "Turkish night" - this is worth a look.

6. Turkish bath - a special conversation about it. Every evening, the guys from there caught the arriving tourists and offered their services. Of course, you can go once so that the tan lies evenly. But it is better to visit a real hammam for real pleasure. It is located in the center of the village, it costs a little more than the hotel (the hotel was $ 35 for allegedly 2 hours, but in fact about 1.5 hours). I won't tell you, you have to experience it yourself. At the end of the treatment, you are offered an algae face mask and a relaxing massage session. It should be noted that they are skillfully bred for money, I even began to doubt whether the masseur is a professional. And I concluded - if you need a therapeutic massage, then this is not your option.
7. Excursions - offered a variety of - one and two days. We took a "Mediterranean yacht cruise" with three stops and swimming in the open sea. Basically, not bad. But lying all day on the upper deck under the scorching sun, drinking WARM beer in the bar did not please me at all. But the child liked the foam disco at the end of the cruise.
Most importantly, tour tickets should be taken ONLY from your representative, even if somewhere someone offers much cheaper. This is your guarantee of safety. And it should be remembered that at the end of the trip the driver of the sightseeing bus should be thanked - we gave $ 2, some did not give anything at all. This is not required, optional, but recommended.
8. Walking around the village is quite safe. Representatives strongly recommend taking passports with you, but we took photocopies made at home. The best time for walking is after dinner, when the heat begins to subside. Stuffiness - it will disturb even at night, because at 3 am the street thermometer showed +26. Lots of different shops and souvenir shops. The market is open once a week. Where it is worth buying only fruits and clothes. Everything else is cheaper in stores. Especially if you take a bus to Alanya - the journey takes about 25 minutes. To stop the bus, just raise your right hand, the fare to Alanya is $ 1 per person. In the center of the city there is a shopping center "Mir Kozha". At first, the prices seem exorbitant, but you can and even need to bargain, then you can buy the thing you like for little money. An example of this - I bought my mother a leather bag. Its initial price is 500 euros, we bargained for 200.
Makhmutlyar itself is a rather cozy village, with modern buildings, and has many memorable points.

9. On the way back, all tourists are brought to a confectionery factory. I will say right away - it's expensive, already horror. But... this high cost pays off, because you get the freshest (and not stale in stores) products. But, for example, Turkish delight 100 g for $ 8, honestly, it's not worth it.
All in all, we had a wonderful vacation. We had a tour for 12 days, which was quite enough, considering that the heat was over 40 and you can’t walk especially at such a temperature. But we occupied ourselves and did not get bored. Warm sea, more salty than the Black Sea, more transparent and better holding swimmers on the water. At depth, you could see fry fish. Very beautiful. In general, the travel agency manager did not let us down, guaranteeing us a good vacation.
