We went to Turkey for the first time, chose a city hotel.
From the pros:
kind and friendly staff, they are not greedy for anything: no food, no drinks, no bath accessories;
the sea is really a 5-minute walk, mountains are visible on the other side of the hotel;
Wi-Fi in the dining room and in the lobby is free and at a good speed;
The food is not varied, but you won't leave hungry.
Of the minuses:
the hotel is located at the bus station;
the hotel is old, rather miserable, you even open the door to the elevator yourself;
in the hall, dining room and on the terrace - almost always dirty;
the rooms are not better: a cockroach about 7 cm came to us through a crack in the ceiling on the first night; the siphon leaked heavily and was not repaired; hot water was only the first day; the beds are uncomfortable, there are no duvet covers, only a sheet (on request, they brought us old woolen blankets, like in trains), pillows with knocked down tangles;

Beach towels are NOT provided! This is generally tin and absurd, because everyone drags bath towels to the beach.
Total:
Alanya and the beaches of Cleopatra are beautiful, wonderful air and a pleasant town. Of course, all pleasant impressions turn a blind eye to the quality of the hotel, but I cannot recommend this hotel before renovation.
