Rested in Palmera from 3 to 10 July 2013. I advise! For a hotel of this class, everything is quite decent. A few words about the tour operator - AnexTour, well done! Everything is well organized and interesting. We flew from Luhansk to Antalya. We drove for about two hours in a clean, well-groomed bus with air conditioning and wonderful guides. They talked about Turkey, the rules of conduct, gave good advice and just joked a lot. We brought our bags to the reception and handed over to the administrator. Nobody asked for a tip. Again, without any tip, we were given a room on the 6th floor with a beautiful view of the sea from the loggia. (Then we still gave the administrator $ 6 to clear our own conscience) The first two nights were disturbed by the noise of the road under the windows. Then they got used to it. If you close the windows and sleep with air conditioning - then no noise. There are no frills in the room, but everything is decent. Toilet with washbasin, sitz bath and shower, three towels, toilet paper, soap, hair dryer. In the hallway there is a huge closet, there are hangers, a safe (for a fee - 2 dollars). The furniture is not the latest model, but everything is whole. Beds are spacious with modern mattresses. Bed linen is white. For 8 days they changed once, but on demand they will change at any time. (with the words no problem) The same with towels. Not all of us at home change our bedding every day, so if you decide that for that kind of money everyone should run around you and indulge every desire - sink to the ground and live easier! Hot and cold water around the clock. The air conditioner is working. The TV and air conditioner remotes were left at check in and no advance payment was taken. When checking out, we just gave them to the reception. The TV is really small with an ORT channel, but to be honest, there was no time to watch it. The loggia is spacious, two plastic chairs and a table. The view from the window is a sea tale. About the staff: - everyone is very clean, always in white shirts, friendly, smiling, there is no division into "Russians" and "non-Russians". Smile warmly, say hello and in return you will receive a lot of positive. They are very fond of and willingly respond to the offer to be photographed with them. Everyone is treated equally well. Any issue is resolved immediately. Cleanliness: no complaints. Everywhere is clean and DOES NOT STINK! (If the vacationers themselves didn’t crap - after all, you don’t eat tomatoes in the hall on the carpet at home! ) The rooms, upon request, are cleaned daily, regardless of whether you left a dollar or not. But, by the way, tips in Turkey (and not only) are ACCEPTED not only in hotels. In city buses, shops, etc. , there are special boxes with the inscription "for tips. " So, if you don't mind, then you can leave the maid 1 dollar from the heart. Turkish women rub glass all day long (all doors and windows are sliding glass), the mirrors shine. The elevator is large, modern and very beautiful. Huge dining room with sliding window frames. From the windows there is a wonderful view of the sea and flowering trees. The cicadas sing. Spacious outdoor area with tables and umbrellas near the bar. Two types of wine (dry), vodka, Tuborg beer from kegs. The bartender makes alcoholic and non-alcoholic puff cocktails. Drinks of several kinds, teas, coffee - everything is free. Water from the cooler is cold without restrictions. The bar in the dining room and near the pools is alcoholic, and on the beach only drinks and water. Children's pool, two adults one with a water slide. When vacationers gather, they turn on the slide - ride to your health. There are enough sunbeds, mattresses, umbrellas and tables near the pools. The hotel has a wonderful Turkish bath, jacuzzi, gym. Everything is free. There are massage services at reasonable prices. By the way, in the city, the hammam bath (you will be offered an excursion for an additional fee) turned out to be worse, it is designed for a large flow of tourists and you are paid less attention individually. In the bathhouse of the hotel, you will be given the same procedures with smearing, masks and other things, and an awesome massage. Meals: even if you, preparing for your vacation, have not eaten since the New Year and, having bought a ticket, decided to eat for the entire period remaining until the New Year, you will not be hungry. Food NORMAL! All hot dishes boil before your eyes. Cutlets, fish, pancakes (wonderful pancakes are baked every morning), scrambled eggs - everything is fried on the stove in front of your eyes - so to speak, piping hot. There are no soups and borschts familiar to us - they have them in a pureed form. But we took and ate. Pretty passable. An abundance of vegetables from raw to baked, salads, several types of cottage cheese from traditional to mixed with all sorts of spices, sliced u200bu200b2-3 cheeses, boiled sausages (varenka like boiled boiled like ours), several types of beans and olives, butter, petal jam roses, strawberry and honey, several types of muesli, milk, tea. Tangerines, oranges all the time, watermelons for dinner. For lunch and afternoon tea, a wonderful abundance of confectionery pastries. Try it and choose what you like best! For meat-eaters: take lard, dry-cured sausages with you for the rest. I also advise you to take all sorts of things for beer - dried fish, etc. This is not here. And don't get hung up on the little things! We came to rest - relax, and do not pretend to be a sheikh from Katsapetovka! About the sea and the beach. The beach is private, beautiful sand. Everything on the beach is free. Sunbeds, mattresses, umbrellas enough for everyone. 100m of beach at your disposal. No one sits on anyone's head. The sea is a fairy tale! Turquoise, unusually warm. The bottom is sandy. There are a couple of places where small stones protrude, but literally on the first day you will learn how to go into the sea bypassing them. There is a volleyball court and a bar. The bartender entertains you with Soviet pop music. The beach is cleaned several times a day, but it's a shame for us vacationers - they themselves and serut (sorry) under their feet. Smoked - a cigarette butt in the sand! Pepsi opened - cork buried! But there is a trash can! There is nothing but cigarette butts and traffic jams! And it's pretty hard to clean them up. They are raked out with rakes, but you need to bend over for each cigarette butt. They still try to keep it clean. Entertainment is not enough - the animator Nastya does not do her job properly. Exotic DJ Jimmy is a little quicker. But young people go to discos in the city - 10 minutes. and have fun - from the Lunapark for children to chic discos. Bus 101 runs to the city center, but you can also walk to it. The town of Alanya is beautiful and flourishing. Excursions that will be offered to you at the hotel are much more expensive than they can be bought in the city at the travel agency. And do not listen to intimidation that you will be taken somewhere! They are working for their own benefit. Nobody grabs you by the hand. And, if you do not give a reason, there will be no encroachment on your personality! A tour of the castle is three times cheaper if you buy it from the city bureau, and not from the agent at the hotel. But you can’t buy a flight excursion to Israel anywhere, only from your operator in the hotel. Offer for 280 dollars, but you can bargain up to 250-240! By the way, I recommend it. Keep within a day - and you will see all the holy places of Israel and Palestine, visit the Dead Sea! In conclusion: I recommend the Palmera hotel - inexpensive, but quite decent! And the sea is better than in Antalya. I am attaching a photo. Thanks! Have a nice holiday!
