The most truthful and unbiased review

We returned from Turkey only yesterday, so the memories are still fresh. So, first things first.
This is not my first time in Turkey, I have also been to Egypt many times. I started with 3* hotels. But what I saw in this hotel is just nonsense. I’ll note right away that I am a person who comes to the country solely for new experiences, swimming in the sea, and also, if possible, exploring the area. The living conditions for me are not so important, however, as well as the availability of food and alcohol in the hotel. This time we rested with my mother and my 5 year old nephew. We went to the hotel after reading the reviews of course. And they saw both the good and the bad. But they could not imagine that everything was so neglected. We also hoped that we were going through the Tez tour, Tez never worked with bad hotels, this has been verified by me more than once. But here....Guys from Teza don't sully your reputation, you stop offering this crap.
We are very satisfied with your work, well done, they met and picked us up from the hotel as expected, no complaints, the guides were constantly present, everything was clearly worked out for you. But this hotel is not yours, trust me. Suggest something else.

So, we went to the hotel at 14.30, waited for the room for about an hour. During this hour, we were taken to the dining room (I can’t call this room a restaurant, sorry). Showed where you can get food to eat. To be honest, I immediately thought that the buffet was so small due to the fact that the time for lunch, in principle, had already passed. But when we came to dinner, I was just in shock. Feeding pardon for pigs. Perhaps the hotel owner and general manager see us, their customers, as such. I don't know who writes about diversity. Perhaps these are the people who have never seen a buffet. And it's not worth talking about what we want from a 3 * hotel, I compare it only with hotels of this category.
But never in my life have I seen in any three-ruble note that cucumbers and tomatoes that were not eaten for breakfast were crumbled for dinner. Excuse me, but this is good in Turkey like grass. I won’t even talk about hot, because there is nothing to say. The chef, of course, tries, but .....Yes, chicken in different forms, a couple of times chicken shawarma, soy meat, stewed vegetables (in principle, not bad), a couple of times fish fillet in breadcrumbs. Now about the main thing. Complete absence of a children's menu. Despite the fact that out of 250 residents of the hotel, about 120 children. I think the hotel management is just committing a crime. We rested for 17 days, in 17 days the child lost weight so that the bones became visible to the naked eye, even the canteen workers themselves were surprised. What can be praised for is the fruit table. There were also watermelons and delicious melons and cherries, grapes, plums were given a couple of times, but green ones, apples, oranges. Next, the child had a birthday.
We decided at breakfast to tell Serdar, the head of the restaurant, that we would like to give him a cake in the evening (I assumed that we might have to buy the cake ourselves). So, he answered no problems, the cake costs $25, ice cream $15, the service is normal (when the workers set the table beautifully and bring food) $10, the service is super (everything the workers do is done by Serdar himself) $20, champagne $20 and etc. We calculated and decided that for 100 dollars the three of us could come to any restaurant in Mahmutlar and eat there in such a way that they would also be wrapped up and taken home.
In short, in the end, we bought a chic cake for a child for 20 lira in one of the specialized stores, in addition they gave us candles and sparklers, in the evening we gathered with our friends (roommates) near the pool and bar (huge hello to Elena, Oleg and their daughters), ordered 3 Sunfire cocktails there for $ 3 and our child was even sung a congratulatory song by the workers at the bar. When I went to this hotel, I never thought that it could be like this. I've been to many birthday parties. Note that the hotels are 3 stars. Never and no one pays anything for a congratulation and a cake. Moreover, it is always a big surprise for the birthday person. So, dear Serdar, you should not rely on the fact that you are paid very little. Just work in another hotel then. Where they pay well. And that's not my problem. I paid a lot of money for the ticket. And I didn’t go there for 3 kopecks.

With this money, I could afford a lot, and not "enjoy" your unobtrusive service.
Now about the numbers. On the first day we were placed in room 305 on the 3rd floor. I will say right away that I did not give any money out of principle. I have this principle - in general, the view from the window is not important to me, and all standard hotel rooms are approximately the same. so I never pay an extra $20 for a sea view. And what is most interesting, I always get this sea view. So, our room was with a sea view, not quite direct, but still, but what was the shower in this room, it's just a nightmare. You can’t even call it a shower, just some kind of thing hung bolted to the ceiling. I haven't even seen this in 2x* stars. All the linen on the beds is gray, it feels like they don’t even wash it, towels are the same song. Now about the main thing.
Forgive me, but this is wrong. You first provide a service that I like, and then expect something from me. I won't even talk about shampoos and soaps. We brought our own. Of course, by the 12th day we were all over. Shampoo (more precisely, liquid soap) was poured into us 1 time in a small jar only upon arrival (and this is for 3 people). On the 12th day we were poured again, when my patience was already over and I came to the reception. But after that, zero attention. When I came again to the reception, they answered me: "We will pour soap only once, upon arrival. " In short, we went to the supermarket and bought ourselves all the bath accessories ourselves. It's a pity that there were only 5 days left and of course it was not very desirable to bring all this back with full suitcases. In general, horror. But we are used to even this.
About the pool: there is only one pool, it is almost impossible for an adult to swim there (because of the large number of children). So, just chill a little.

Slides worked properly 3 times a day for 30 minutes. Sunbeds on the pool we personally occupied at 7 am. So do many. The same goes for sunbeds on the beach. Okay, I understand the pool. But damn it, is it really impossible to calculate umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach for an even number of hotel visitors (maximum). Well, not the first year you guys have been working. Many had to lie simply on mattresses in the open sun, and with children. Therefore, some children received sunburn - an eerie sight. The beach is basically clean, entry into the sea for 5 square meters. meters (the entrance is hollowed out and covered with sand), a lot of people accumulate in this place, it is not very comfortable to enter, but you can then sail away and enjoy the clear sea. A couple of times the sea was restless, but I still swam and swam, I had to take the child with me in a vest so as not to knead the mud near the shore.
About the bar: cola, sprite and fanta are diluted.
In principle, it’s like that everywhere, you can drink, wine is full g ....(it’s the same everywhere), beer is good, you can only drink vodka from strong. Gins, whiskeys and everything else sucks.
Animation: unobtrusive. But for this hotel it's decent. Animators 2. Marina (a girl from Minsk) and another guy, but I rarely saw him, so I don’t even know his name. Charging on the beach every day in the morning, a couple of times there was aqua aerobics in the pool. But each time it didn’t work out due to the inclusion of slides, there was a game of darts several times, even water volleyball was in the pool), minidisco for children every evening, fashion shows (leather products) with prizes (leather caps) 2 times a week, belly dance also like a couple of times, a girl with snakes also a couple of times, Turkish dances and something else. We were not every time.
Basically, it's okay. We didn't really need animation. The child went to the mini disco every evening. But it would be possible to diversify the program.
Marina huge greetings and respect.
Now about the main thing, about what brightened up all the shortcomings:

We traveled all over Alanya. Were in such cool places. We rented a car for 2 days. We went to the fortress and the tower. Your tour operators will also offer these tours as well as street agencies. I will tell you how to get there yourself and spend much less money. I haven't been on trips with agencies for a long time. I love to explore new places by myself. It's much more useful and interesting. We went by car, rented a car not far from the hotel (Boncuk rent a car), exit the hotel and immediately to the left, go through the cottages and the first house (there is a payphone with cards for $ 3, a supermarket), and there is such a terrace with a roof from palm branches. We took a small fiat with an automatic transmission, one of the owners is called Haydar. The day cost us $50. No deposits, just say you're from Sunfire and your room number.
Full insurance included. The owner is very democratic. Walked around the entire barboros street, a lot of rent a car. But I will say right away the cheapest option, and even the machine was found only here. Only the car needs to be reserved a few days in advance. We made a reservation 3 days in advance. We went by car to the fortress, to the red tower, to the Cleopatra beach and in the evening to the mountain river Dim Chai. In general, we were 3 times in Dim tea, we really liked this place. These are several restaurants on a mountain river. With slides, towers, sun loungers and cozy tables on the water. A very interesting place. The first time we were in the evening, we were four adults and two children (hello Marina, Inga and Mishenka from Pskov), the restaurant there was called Dyundar Ildiz, they fed us very tasty, took fish, salads, free delicious cake, tea and mineral water, in the end in the evenings, they provided a fruit basket beautifully decorated with candles for free. We really enjoyed.
But since it was already dark, we decided to go back and did not stay for the night. I know that many stay there overnight. When we approached the car, we noticed that they also washed the car for us. In short, great. We did not dare to ride the hill, because it was already dark. The second and third times we went in the morning to another restaurant a little higher, called Pinarbashi. A free bus goes there, we left the hotel, got on a minibus, went to a stop in front of the river and waited for this bus there (it is yellow and it says free dim tea service). You can just take a minibus and say bass station dim tea. You should basically be dropped off there. If you don’t want to get lost, then the free bus to dim tea goes from Ataturk Square (where the pier and the red tower are located) at 11.05 and 13.05, picks it up at 16.00. That is, you arrive in the morning, enjoy it and leave at 16.00. The views are just great. There is also a trout farm there. You can catch a fish, they will cook it for you.
We were also in a canyon, a place called Sapadere, 30 km from Mahmutlar towards Gazipasa, into the mountains. We went by car. It's easy to find there, there are signs everywhere. The road is terrible. Narrow and winding, but the views are superb. Were in orange orchards, also a kind of exotic.

In general, the rest was a success. But I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Especially people with children. If only for very little money.
