The hotel was chosen for a long time. Tried to come up with a budget. We opted for a hotel in Avsalar. The main criteria were: proximity to the sea, sandy entry, availability of infrastructure nearby.
The Sun Maritim hotel, in general, met the search criteria. According to the reviews, it was clear that we would not die of hunger. As it turned out, the truth - they did not die!
We arrived at the hotel at 9:00. The bracelets were put on and sent for breakfast. Then they went to settle down. There were no rooms ready, they sent them to the 1st floor. Come in. The room is small, tired, but quite clean. We had a view of a neighboring hotel - a household unit, balconies. And if you look to the left, there was a piece of the sea. The exhaust hood opposite was terribly buzzing, so that even the closed door did not save. We tried to ask for another option, but the administrator answered us that the hotel was closing, so there was nowhere to relocate. We then thought that we would leave and close... but it turned out that the most interesting was ahead.

And now in order:
Room: 2 beds - double and single, bedside tables, a table with a refrigerator (dirty) and a small TV of the 90s model, buzzing air conditioning. On the balcony there is a table and two chairs. The closet is quite roomy. Bathroom is clean. Soap and shampoo available. We stopped by on October 19, so we couldn't count on perfect condition at the end of the season. Hot and cold water worked well.
Food: Someone called this hotel a sanatorium for diabetics, and in some ways he was right. The food is modest, not fatty, not varied, sometimes not very tasty. Cucumbers-tomatoes-salads-olives - soy cutlets! Paradise for vegans! Although, there were glimpses of meat and fish! For breakfast there was yogurt, baking 1-2 types of rolls, boiled eggs, salad bar. Desserts are sad - semolina puddings, traditional honey cookies. Fruits - tangerines, apples, plums. The bar on the beach had snacks before lunch and after 15.00. Mostly vegetables, french fries and lazy belyashi (no meat). And I was also pleased with ice cream - they gave out 1 pc per person!
Territory: The place is generally pleasant, there is a small pool, a slide and a mini jacuzzi. There is a lot of vegetation on the left, palm trees, pine trees, shrubs - it is very pleasant to walk to the beach. The terraces are very nicely decorated. Bar on the beach, not exactly on the beach, on the territory, a terrace overlooking the sea near the beach and the amphitheater.
Beach: the main advantage of the hotel. 2 minutes walk, sand, sun loungers and mattresses. Not enough, of course. We rested when loaded at 30% of the place, it was just barely enough, but it’s not bad to fall on the sand too. The entry into the sea is wonderful (to the left of the beach), there are no stones, and if they are found, they are perfectly visible, you can get around. The beach is located in a mini-bay, there is calm and warm water, there is a beautiful island.

Infrastructure: The hotel is located 3 minutes from civilization. Cafes, restaurants, street trading, a park, supermarkets, a bus stop - everything is within walking distance, there is an opportunity to take a walk, drink fresh juices, and buy something.
Contingent: families with small children, people older than average, pensioners. Mostly Russians, some Germans and Poles.
Animation Entertainment: children were entertained in the evenings at kids disco. Then they lit up the hits of the 90s. In general, a disco in Azure in 2001!
Internet: available in the lobby and on the terrace, quite working, some even called : )
In general, in a state of shock, we did not arrive for long, grumbled and began to enjoy our vacation. And then a rumor spread around the hotel about relocation, because the hotel is closing. And on October 22nd we were evacuated to another hotel.
So we were not in Maritim for long, but we did not want to leave for the unknown.
Perhaps those negative points that we identified were associated with the closure, and no one tried anymore. The end of the season and therefore already rolled rooms, although I still remember the hood and the songs of the movers? Some people have already been to this hotel again in the same season, someone comes several years in a row. Maybe this place has a chance. Someone likes it there. Will we return again? Not sure.
