We rested together with my wife at the end of June 2008. Personally, we liked everything. Although I want to warn you right away that we are not picky guys and our requests are small, so someone may have a different opinion. Now in order.
1. The building of the hotel is large, well-shaped. Those. in the middle there is a large air "well", along which there are balconies of the floors with entrances to the rooms. There are 20 rooms on one floor, all overlooking the central "well". The hotel is made in bright colors, the bluish backlight turns on in the evening, it's quite beautiful. For some, it may be a disadvantage that the building is almost very close to the Antalya-Alanya highway, but we did not notice this proximity. The reception worked quite normally, there were Russian-speaking workers and if we turned to them, then everyone always told us. The contingent was mostly Russian-speaking, there were also a few Germans and Poles, and by the end of our holiday, the number of Turks somehow increased. The hotel is located right in the center of Avsallar village. In 2-3 minutes walk there are street pay phones. And of course there are plenty of shops. Also, almost right next to the hotel there is a bus stop that goes to Alanya (fare is $ 3 per person).
2. The room was settled even before the promised time (somewhere at half past 12 in the morning). After reading various reviews mentally prepared to give 10 dollars. for relocation to a good room, but nothing like that was needed. The room, in our opinion, was wonderful - clean, spacious. And we got a room with a good sea view. The room has a separate air conditioner (working well, it cooled the room to an acceptable temperature in a few minutes), a TV (3 Russian-language programs - ORT international, RTR planet and some kind of music, as well as several programs in Turkish, Polish, German), a small refrigerator . There was a hair dryer in the bathroom. The bathtub is also brand new, clean, the only drawback was a leaky bathtub. At first we thought that we ourselves were splashing water so much, and when it became clear that this was not the case, we turned to the reception and they told us that this was the case in all rooms. However, there are water drains on the bath floor, so the water did not stand and did not have to be soaked out - the main part drained, and the rest dried up by itself. Hot water was constantly. The balcony is medium in size, it has two plastic chairs and a table. Perhaps the disadvantage can be attributed to a small number of chairs in the room - there was only one. The staff is normal, friendly, at least we did not have any conflicts with them.

3. The territory is quite large for me. There are trees, and just grassy lawns. On the territory of 3 pools (one of them has 2 water slides), 2 bars, there is a shop with normal prices.
4. The beach adjoins directly to the hotel. From the hotel to him 1-2 minutes easy step. The beach is large although narrow. Sunbeds with umbrellas are full, always remained free. Umbrellas are stationary, fixed on concrete slabs, twisted from something there (reed or vine or something like that). With mattresses for sun loungers, it’s probably a little worse, although we always took it whenever we wanted. The beach has the shape of the letter P, on both sides there are high stone ledges in the sea, on which sand is poured and where there are sun loungers. The beach has showers, changing rooms and taps for washing feet. It is best to enter the sea from the main beach (and not from the ledges). The entrance to the sea is quite different - best of all on the right side. At the entrance to the water there are medium-sized stones, on the beach itself there is a mixture of sand and small pebbles. I think that the whole coast there was originally stone, and the sand on the beach is manure by the hotels themselves. The water throughout our stay was good, clean, warm. The first two days the sea was calm, the rest of the time there were small waves. The bottom relief is very uneven, so if you flounder near the shore, then everything is great, but for swimmers (to whom I also belong) there are problems - there are many pitfalls located at a shallow depth. So if you do not explore a certain path, then you can easily hit a stone with your hand or foot. On the beach, the hotel security is constantly on duty and chases wandering strangers. For some, it may be unpleasant that dogs periodically run along the beach.
5. The food in the restaurant suited us perfectly, especially me (but I warn you right away, I'm not picky about food). My wife and other vacationers considered some dishes too spicy, but I didn’t notice this at all, although I myself never use seasonings in my food. I also heard a couple of vacationers complaining that there was nothing to feed the children here, but there is already what is called "for what I bought for what I sold. " In general, I almost always got up from the table with a heavy stomach. And we even had a problem when there were fruits that were bought a couple of times - they simply did not have time to be swallowed. The waiters in the restaurant are running around like crazy. If you haven’t eaten something yet, and decided to move away to get more food, then you need to leave a watchman for the half-eaten, otherwise the waiters will take it away instantly.
6. I can't really say anything about animation and discos. We were not interested in them, so we paid little attention to them. So, from memory, 3 or 4 times a day on the beach and on the territory of the hotel they arranged a small dance workout for those who wished to two songs of the hotel, about 11 or 12 for everyone who wanted to learn belly dancing, after dinner a darts competition, after 4 pm volleyball on the beach , from 10 to 11 an entertainment program for children and after 11 a disco for adults (I can’t say anything about it, I have never been there).

Well, in general, everything. By the way, if you want more information, you can look for reviews on the Grand Sunlife Hotel. This is practically the same with the Plaza - only different hotel buildings, and the territory, restaurant, pools, bars, beach are all in common. If anyone has any more questions feel free to ask.
