We rested at the Sunlife Plaza Hotel from 31.05. -14.06. 2012. If you have not rested anywhere before, then you will like it, but if you were at least in a solid 4-ke, then you will understand my disappointments. The hotel rooms can really be classified as a 4-star hotel, if you do not pay attention to the peeling taps in the bathroom and the leaking toilets, as well as the ceilings and walls covered with mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are everywhere. It seems that they are right there in the bathroom and multiply. True, with the onset of heat, they slowly die off, but not completely. The view from the balcony we had was on the flaky floor of the crumbling building where the hotel staff lived, and under the balcony there were piles of construction debris, probably preserved from the time of the reconstruction of this building. I can’t understand what prevents the hotel workers from simply collecting and taking it all out. The rooms were cleaned every day. Shampoo and toilet paper were only replenished upon request. The beach is good, they say that recently the bottom was cleaned from stones, so there are no complaints. There is no bar on the beach, and they are not even allowed to bring a glass of water with them. The two bars available on the territory start working at 11 am and end at 23, which is not very convenient. The most painful place of the hotel is - food and canteen. Over the past five years that I had to rest in hotels in Turkey and Egypt, I have never experienced such humiliation from standing in lines for food. The queue lined up 15 minutes before the opening of the canteen, and then the proud Turk gave everyone a portion of either a piece of chicken, or a fish, or a couple of soy cutlets on a plate. At the same time, he repeated: Quickly, quickly... , pushing the queue. No more choice. Today one fish and no meat, fish day plus vermicelli. Fish and vermicelli is a wild fantasy of the Turkish chef of this hotel. But everything was filled with cabbage, it was presented on 33 dishes in different combinations. My favorite eggplant was served once in a limited quantity and I had to queue in front of the restaurant until it opened. they sorted out within 5 minutes and were no longer taken out. The audience in the hotel is mostly Russian. Not a single European, and this is a very bad indicator of the rating of this hotel. In all nearby hotels, Germans mostly rest, but here you can imagine, not a single one. There is animation, there is even a disco with good modern music and equipment, there is even a laser and smoke. The animators are trying to get everyone worked out and monotonous. If you rest for 2 weeks, everything repeats and nothing new. But they have fun, the guys work. The hotel is very well located in the village of Avsalar, there is where to go out in the evening and on Wednesdays the fair comes.
If you want to save on yourself, go to the Sunlife Plaza Hotel or Grand Sunlife, which is almost the same thing, but know that this is a solid three and not a four. I was convinced that it’s better not to save on yourself, and it’s possible to go to a normal hotel not for as much as 14 days, but less and a little more expensive, but to enjoy your vacation if you want aesthetic and comfortable.
