We stayed at this hotel with our family in September 2018.
I definitely do not recommend the hotel.
In this review, I will try to objectively state all the pros and cons of the hotel based on my own experience of staying in other hotels.
Let's start with the minuses, because, in my opinion, after these minuses, there is no point in reading pluses, and the desire to visit this hotel will disappear (personally, I would never go there again and would not recommend it to anyone):
- The hotel has no territory. There is absolutely nowhere to spend time, even nowhere to walk. We were forced to drive to the nearby Utopia Hotel, pay $50 per person for admission, to spend time there enjoying a wonderful holiday. Returning to Lumos was very sad;
- lack of vegetation on the territory, with the exception of a few potted palm trees and a small corner near the playground;
- lack of integrity of the hotel.

A swimming pool with slides, a playground, and a place for evening "performances" are located across the road from the hotel, on which cars drive. Access to the beach is also across the road, through a rather dumb underpass.
- the beach is not well maintained, not guarded, with broken and dirty sunbeds. More like a regular city beach. The signs with the name of the hotel are torn and rusty, which indicates that no one maintains the condition of the hotel. In the bar on the beach from drinks only water, beer, wine, a miserable likeness of juice, cola and that's it. From food - base fast - food (fries, spaghetti, and fried convenience foods, apples or oranges). Gozleme is baked on the beach for two hours a day, but there is such a queue that it’s a pity to spend this time waiting for a cake (a friend stood for 40 minutes).
Also, the beach is not actually cleaned, the tables at the sun loungers are lined with empty glasses.
- nutrition. The hotel clearly does not have the right to be positioned as a 5 star ultra all inclusive.
The food is monotonous, not tasty. It seems like there is relatively little food, but most of it is actually not edible. Incomprehensible bony fish (for 11 days there was never a normal fish), grilled chicken waste (I can’t name it otherwise, I don’t even know what these parts are called, but in our city they are bought by pensioners who have no opportunity to buy something better), everywhere there is actually not edible parts of poorly fried minced meat. For 11 days of normal food was: twice mashed potatoes, twice for dinner grilled veal, twice for dinner lamb, once grilled turkey. For lunch, the top of the line is grilled chicken wings/legs. Edible soup was once or twice. The only good thing was the breakfasts and desserts.
Do not be fooled by beautiful pictures on Instagram with seafood, shrimp, crabs. It doesn't happen there. Although it may happen. Once a year, for example.
- lack of food for children.

If you are traveling with a child, this hotel is definitely not for you. The first days I just had a panic, and we attacked the guide to move us to another hotel. So the children's menu is only dinner and includes french fries, spaghetti, fried sausages or nuggets. All. From the common table: for breakfast every day the only porridge is rice milk. For lunch, soups are clearly not for children - mushroom and tomato with vermicelli. Once there was a vegetable, but it was so terrible that the child categorically refused to eat. Yes, and so are we. The child ate spaghetti with boiled chicken all day for lunch and dinner, since there was nothing to eat at all.
- the drinks. Here is a separate issue. What is ultra all inclusive by international standards? This is when part of the imported drinks is included in the tour price. Here the situation is different. In addition to the fact that the concept of the hotel includes only local drinks, they are either made randomly or more or less drinks are missing for three days.
Wine is the most common cheap table wine. There is champagne in the lobby bar, but it is more like lemonade with vodka and it is difficult to drink it. But even this drink was missing for three days. Local whiskey leaves much to be desired. Separately about cocktails. When I realized that I had nothing to drink, I decided to have a cocktail. But what they did to us made us leave it untouched on the table. So, the Mojito cocktail was made by mixing two green and white liquids and one piece of lemon in a glass. Something like this. But they didn't even bother with local martinis, baileys, etc. The only thing that made the lobby-bar look like a lobby-bar was Turkish coffee. All.
- Terrible housekeeping. After cleaning, dust and dirt remain. Mom had a balcony in the room, no one ever washed it, the floor was just black. For three days they generally forgot to clean us, although we turned on the notice “clean the room”.
- the hotel is terribly stuffy.
There is nothing to breathe in the whole hotel, there are simply no air conditioning systems or they are not in working mode. The only place where you can take a breath from the heat is the lobby - bar, near the air conditioner in the main restaurant and in the room, if it gets cold.

- lack of animation and entertainment. From animation - modest, monotonous, base evening performances. There is simply nothing to do in the evenings - there is no animation, there is no territory, stuffiness is everywhere (due to the lack of greenery and taking into account the fact that the pool is surrounded by a hotel building, which heats up during the day, and everything, even on the street near the pool is impossible, very stuffy and cramped ). There aren’t even really any cafes, at least some small modest park, alley.
- Complete lack of soundproofing in the rooms. Even with the balcony closed, it is very difficult to fall asleep. When before eleven at night, when before 4 in the morning. But there is only one fact - the music in the room with the balcony closed is the same as with the open one, it is heard very loudly.
- some of the rooms overlook the roadway (those with a sea view, but the sea is not visible)) with a view of the shops and trash cans and all night long it is provided to hear the noise of passing trucks, trucks and mopeds, as well as a nearby disco. When we were given such a number, I wanted to pack my things in the morning and at least run away somewhere. But, fortunately, we were moved to another room.
- lack of entertainment and animation for children, with the exception of a playground near the roadway in the sun and a children's room (indoors) of 18 square meters, where there is simply nothing to do. Even in the most hopeless situation, I did not send my child there. Mini disco primitive and every day the same thing.
There is also a room with paid entertainment, such as air hockey. But we didn't go there.
- low level of service. We had two vouchers - for my husband and me and a child, and separately for a disabled mother.
Even from Kharkov, we asked that they give us QUIET rooms and NEARBY, since my mother is disabled. When we arrived, we were settled in different blocks, which even had an entrance from different parts of the building. In addition, my mother had a room where there was a disco nearby until four in the morning. And we were given a room, as I said, with a view of the roadway, and garbage containers (first floor).

In addition, we were traveling for a wedding anniversary and two more weeks I warned the hotel about this so that we could decorate the room, as I usually do in normal hotels. But, unfortunately, on this day, it wasn’t that the room wasn’t decorated for us, it wasn’t even cleaned. The only thing they brought was a plate of fruit, which is already everywhere.
- the hotel is not invested after its foundation. Yes, the hotel building is beautiful. But during the period of its existence, something has gone out of order and no one is doing anything for this (torn leather sofas in Patisari, signs by the sea are dirty and torn, sunbeds are broken, etc. ).
There are many more to list, but I think this is enough.
From the pros:
- beautiful interior of the hotel itself;
- well-furnished and beautiful rooms;
- friendly gest relation Ekaterina and a representative of the Spa - Marina (perhaps, these are the only friendly people from the staff who are ready to explain something or help in some way);
- fast responding and good rescuers (I personally saved two people before my eyes when there was a storm);
- beautiful sea (but this is not the merit of the hotel);
- good breakfasts;
- delicious sweets.
This is where the list of positives ends.

In general, for the money you can find a much better hotel.
I hope my review will be useful to someone.
