Утопия - это РАЙ!!! Utopia is PARADISE!!!

We were in Utopia in mid-May 2014. We went from Pegasus. We have been resting in Turkey for the eighth year in a row, we don’t go to the same hotel, so there is something to compare with. In my opinion - this is the BEST HOTEL in Alanya! Huge territory, unique views of the surrounding area, its own water park, a lot of all kinds of entertainment, attentive and friendly attitude of the staff. We lived in the main building, in a standard room with a beautiful sea view. I didn’t doubt for a second that I had made the right choice, since all the main infrastructure of the hotel is located right here: a restaurant, a spa, an amphitheater, a lagoon bar (with evening programs), a disco…etc. - went down, went up on the elevator - everything is nearby. For those who travel with small children, I recommend the main building, because running with children to the cottage room along the steep stairs will simply torment you.
Wi-fi is pretty good throughout the hotel. Best of all in the main building, a little worse on the beach and in the water park, but the video still “pulls” there.
The beach is sand and small pebbles. Slippers were not helpful. On the left, at the pier, there are stones, be careful. The entrance to the sea is quite gentle. You can also sunbathe on the pier. From the main entrance of the hotel to the lower platform there is a bus, then on foot along the bridge across the road and on the elevator you go down to the beach. There is a bar on the beach with drinks and snacks, so sometimes we dined right here.

The main restaurant has very decent food with a minimum of specific Turkish spices. There are diet food. Every day new dishes. I will not enumerate. Everything is very delicious. Several times there was even borscht with sour cream. For two weeks of our stay at the hotel, the food was not at all tired. Alcohol is also quite decent quality. Of the a la carte restaurants were in the fish. I recommend. They were very satisfied.
More than half of the vacationers are Russian or Russian-speaking citizens of the CIS, there were many Poles, so the taste and preferences of this category of vacationers were taken into account literally in everything. Russians are very friendly! Lots of youth. I want to note that the hotel is very cheerful, one might even say "fiery". Pleased with the daily evening programs in the amphitheater. First a mini disco for the kids. Then a show program for adults. I want to note the high professional level of all invited teams. It's nice to see that the hotel management does not save on trifles, but in every possible way maintains its de lux level. After the end of the performance in the amphitheater, the entertainment program smoothly “flowed” into the Laguna Bar. Every evening there was always something new here: karaoke, performances of "live" musical groups (I especially liked "Shamans"), dances, competitions, games. For the most persistent - the continuation of the evening at the disco until 2 am. And so every day. If the "ignition" has gone and you want to continue communicating with new friends, the lobby bar is waiting for you, which is open 24 hours. In general, if you wish, you can “shizgar” here around the clock, just calculate your strength correctly and do not allow all sorts of outrages (the security here is also on the alert).
What I especially liked was the well-established management processes. With such a vast territory and such a huge number of vacationers, there are no queues, there are always empty seats at the tables in the restaurant, free sunbeds on the beach and by the pools. At first, the water park lacked inflatable "cheesecakes". The reason is banal - our Russians, having swept down the hill, left them "in reserve" so as not to look if they want to ride again. The situation is paradoxical: people run around in search of free "cheesecakes", and our thrifty compatriots hold them near their sunbeds. Two days later, so many of these cheesecakes were brought in that they lay on every corner. Get it and ride as much as you want. Or here's another example: during lunch in the main restaurant, a queue formed for borscht. About 10 people gathered. Suddenly, as if from under the ground, a cook appeared and stood up for distribution. The queue was instantly eliminated. Once in my room, a slipper broke a little, so the next day I found a completely new set. Agree, a trifle, but nice. I really liked that the hotel management directly controls the work of its staff: vacationers are asked to fill out a questionnaire where you can evaluate the quality of the services provided. Attentive, caring attitude to the needs of vacationers - in Utopia this is a normal well-established mechanism. So don't "forget" to tip the staff. You will be recognized everywhere and served with even greater pleasure.
If you are going to go to the city, then the bus comes to the central gate. The fare is $ 3 for two to the central market of Alanya.

During our stay at the hotel, we noticed that a group of men appeared in the same sportswear. It turned out that this is the Russian beach soccer team. A couple of days later, the Turkish team appeared here. So a trip to a friendly football match was unexpectedly added to our entertainment. Rooted for our hearts!!!
A SPECIAL THANK YOU to the excellent ANIMATION TEAM. These are the people who create a unique atmosphere in Utopia. Without their participation, the rest in Utopia would not be so bright, cheerful and eventful. They work daily from early morning until late at night. Unobtrusive, always friendly and sociable, they can always be seen on the beach, by the pools, in the hall of the main restaurant and, of course, during evening programs. Each of them is a bright personality. They charge all vacationers with a spark of their charm and create a festive mood. The head of the animation team, Gunay, is a man of exceptional charm, professionalism and great talent. A huge merit, as an organizer and inspirer, without any doubt, belongs to him. In addition, his personal performances cause a strong reaction from the public. They are distinguished by dynamics, subtle humor, courage and original approach. His improvisations, along with prepared numbers, are worthy of all praise. In my opinion, this team is the best fit for the spirit of the hotel. If, God forbid, Utopia loses this animation team, then I think it will be a big problem to find an adequate replacement for it.
In general, Utopia, in my opinion, fully justifies its name as the island of universal happiness. And, if you do not pay attention to minor details, with such a price-quality ratio, this is a very worthy option for a good and fun beach holiday. I would go to Utopia again. I envy those who are going to go there in the near future, and highly recommend to those who have not been there yet !! !
