As a preface, I will write that we went to Alanya from 04.11. on 09.11. 08, having taken a couple of days at work at my own expense, since it was a short holiday week. We doubted very much whether to go to Turkey for the November holidays, or even to Egypt. On the one hand, the tour (5 * hotel, all inclusive in Sharm El-Sheikh, 7 days, for two) cost 80.000 rubles, and to Turkey with the same conditions - 37.000 (although 6 days, but the difference is felt). On the other hand, it can already rain in Turkey and the weather is +20... Therefore, on the advice of our manager from a travel agency, we went to Alanya, it should be warmer there than in other resorts.
We arrived in Turkey at 7 in the morning, so we didn’t immediately appreciate the charms of the weather, and at 10, having arrived at Utopia, we felt that it was not so +20, but much warmer, people were tanned, happy. We were settled only at 13.30 (officially, check-in from 14.00, but, for some reason, when foreigners stopped by, they were settled 30 minutes after arrival... ). The room (2026) is good, nothing to complain about, except for the view from the window: the roof cone over the reception occupied 60% of all visibility. Naturally, we went to agree on a replacement number. We went down to the reception, and there, on the computer monitor, it was clearly visible that half of the rooms are free (they are marked in green). The Turk pretended that he did not understand either Russian or English when we asked for a FREE change of number, and pointed to the Tip box with his hand: “$ 20”; we will keep silent about rudeness, why spoil the review ; -)
Having changed the number, we were infinitely glad, although it (3006) was no different from the previous one; the view from the window is the best, you can even watch the animation from the balcony! Tip: take numbers so that the last digits are up to 10 (2001.3005, 4010…) - guaranteed sea view. The view of the pines is also good, but there (with us) loud work was carried out during the day.

Summary of the room: 1 double bed, 1 single bed, 2 bedside tables, table, floor lamp (albeit inconveniently located, had to be rearranged), TV, mini-bar (non-alcoholic), wardrobe, safe. On the balcony there are 2 plastic chairs and a table. The bathroom had a good bath. From hygiene products: soap, shampoo, shower gel, caps and toilet paper (although you had to kick the maid so that she replenished the missing one).
In general, the impression is that the staff is unobtrusive, and even a little polite. But, for some reason, it seems that the fact is that after the “accidental” touching of the priests of one vacationer, the restaurant attendant had a serious male conversation with the husband of this vacationer, and with his boss, who was passing by...
The restaurant is a separate topic that requires a full tummy to discuss it. It is terrible to admit, but we will pay for gluttony. Salads, pickles, other delicate cold appetizers; hot ones turned out to be excellent too, soups, kebabs, pieces of juicy breaded chicken, pieces of all kinds of meat, sauté , stew, pasta; desserts were coming, even if there was nowhere to go, 5 puddings at a time... But there were small problems with wine: there were 3 types (bottling) pink, white, red. The most decent is red, white is worse, and pink is completely rubbish. "Bottled" wine only in a la carte. But the beer is cool, almost no "badyazhat". Cocktails. . . Well, either the bartender's hands are crooked, or the local alcohol is disgusting. Mojito for $ 10 (unfortunately complex cocktails are not included in all inclusive) - solid lime juice, rum-cola - as you ask, with a smile - they will pour a lot of rum, without a smile - 10 drops. The word "proportion" was not heard at all in Utopia. Here the principles of Yulia Vysotskaya are observed: tyap-blunder, the amount is determined “by eye”, wiping your hands on yourself is a sweet thing! But this is about cocktails. The restaurant has very attentive chefs - they look at which dish is popular - they bring it immediately (if it runs out), and what they take reluctantly disappears from the menu the next day. Well done!
The territory of Utopia is large, green, in addition to the declared pines and palm trees, citrus fruits grow, and there is also a beautiful view of banana plantations. I had to lick my lips, because. There were no bananas in our diet. “Bananas grow high, it is not easy to get bananas. I want a banana! As for the “descents and ascents” - indeed, out of habit, the legs ached on the second day of their stay, but then they got used to it, calmed down and were absolutely happy. Hiking is a very useful thing. Girls can be safely advised: do not be afraid to take shoes and sandals with low heels. Going down to the sea is a little inconvenient, but if you are not very afraid to pick up a fungus, then you can walk barefoot (again, it is terribly useful for those suffering from flat feet). But back, putting on shoes with a heel, go uphill - as if on a flat surface. The water park, unfortunately, was closed, however, like a good half of the excursions from the Odeon Tour... The hotel guide Galina said that it snowed in Cappadocia in general. Lied? ! For those who are afraid of hiking, a fixed-route taxi runs from the hotel to the beach (of course, free, but no one has canceled the Type box), and you can get to the center of Alanya yourself for $ 2 (also from the hotel). Bottom line on the territory of the hotel: Almost anywhere you can take wonderful pictures!

wellness&spa. On the day of arrival, until we were settled, we went to explore the SPA center, where they gave out beach towels, there is a sauna, a steam room, a hammam and an indoor pool with a jacuzzi (all of the above is included in the price of the tour). A girl from Slovenia, Lenka, explained which procedures are free and suggested paid ones. We chose "Fantasy Time" (because it was "out of season" Lenka made a discount of 50€, total 350€ for two). First day – sauna, steam bath, hammam, massage, foam massage, Cleopatra mask (with honey and milk). The second day - "sultan-massage" in 4 hands. We lay parallel to each other in the same room with aromatic (but unobtrusive) candles, listening to Enya, and almost fell asleep... The third day - a hot wrap. But this procedure is alien to men! And the man chose aromatherapy (massage with essential oils reanimates even irreparable nerve cells, and the word "work" after such a massage disappeared from everyday life; ). And the wrap is as follows: you sit on a massage table, you are smeared with a foul-smelling gruel of algae, wrapped in polyethylene, wrapped on top in a giant electric heating pad and “. . . lie down, do not move” for 30 minutes !! ! At the 20th minute, unable to bear the sensation of melted cheese and nauseating amber, I had to ask for release. But, even after washing away all the poo in the shower, the smell remained. Imagine a picture: a glossy man comes out, happy and peaceful, a kilometer away you can feel the aroma from his massaged body, and towards him a girl who stinks of rotten fish...
On the fourth day, the V. I. P. jacuzzi with vitamin cocktail. The relaxing Enya played the same way, but now there was a fruit platter in front of the jacuzzi. The water was cool, so every 10 minutes we went to the VIP sauna. It was very tiny, apparently designed for mice. In general, we didn’t really like the sauna, although with flower and mineral water. But in general, they were satisfied with the procedures, especially since they lasted a long time.
The beach is sand and pebble, more pebble. Modest, but for sunbathing and swimming for adults - just right. Sunbeds, tables and umbrellas were always available, although there were quite a few vacationers. The beach bar is open from 10 to 17, and the restaurant from 12 to 16. But already at 9.30 we were offered drinks (beer, soda, water, tea, coffee, ayran). There are several grottoes on the beach, very mysterious, but not gloomy. This is not a note to an amateur photographer.
All in all, a great vacation! It's a pity that it ended quickly, I want to return back to this "City of the Sun - Utopia"...
