IN THE BANANA-PALM-PINE PARADISE UNDER THE STARS - UTOPIA WORLD (WORLD OF DREAMS, UNREAL WORLD) IN ALANYA (VILLAGE MAHMUTLAR) rested for a week (from October 21 to October 28.2008) by a company of eight people.
We rest in resorts not in the hot season, so this time we took the risk of flying to the sea at the very end of the tourist season - October 21! Fortunately, we were very lucky with the weather: it was sunny (25-28 degrees), the sea was warm and gentle (25 degrees). But on October 27, huge black clouds appeared from behind the mountains, there was a thunderstorm, thunder and lightning all night ...therefore, we advise you to complete your vacation in Turkey until October 20.
From ANTALYA airport to UTOPIYA (155 km), which is located in the very SOUTH of ALANYA (in turn, the last of the resort hotels), a long road - 3 hours on a comfortable ANEX TOUR bus, but it did not tire us. From ALANYA 20 km.
Total keep in mind (especially vacationers with kids): 2 hours you need to be at the airport + 3 hours fly from Moscow + 1 hour customs - visas at ANTALYA airport + 3 hours drive to Utopia (ALANIA)
Let's be honest, in our case, we were very unlucky (there was a 4-hour delay in departure and the replacement of the RED WINGS airline).
In addition, I want to warn you: the UTOPIA WORLD hotel is popular and sells very well among foreigners, so when we arrived at the hotel, there were no rooms in the hotel (and this was at the end of October!! ! I had to wait until 23.30, when the Poles were “taken out” from the hotel and they released 200!! ! numbers ...We hope that these are isolated cases, but we, to put it mildly, were worried. Until that time, we were accommodated in eight of us in a 2-storey room with a luxurious 12-meter veranda overlooking the sea!! ! Then we found out that this number is jokingly called "STORAGE Luggage".
But, having seen the SUNSET, tasting goodies at dinner on a magnificent veranda overlooking the sea and walking through the most beautiful territory, we FORGIVE them EVERYTHING ...(the day of arrival - the day of departure is always referred to as “days of trials and patience)

The rooms are small with a balcony. To accommodate three people, an additional “couch” is added to a standard double room (did not pay attention to what exactly)
IN HOT WEATHER IF YOU DO NOT WANT TORTURE FROM STUFF, REJECT A ROOM ON THE SUNNY SIDE WITH A SEA VIEW
(air conditioners in the rooms are weak and on a hot day the rooms heat up in the sun)

The hotel with 600 rooms (built in 2007) is located like a medieval fortress on the slope of a high mountain outside the fortress walls:
at the top - the MAIN multi-storey BUILDING with a beautiful interior,
- a huge comfortable lobby bar with a "starry sky" on the ceiling and comfortable sofa-chairs in ethnic style
- relaxation zone on the verandas with rattan sofas under the STARRY SKY - these views and SUNSETS ARE UNFORGETTABLE!!!!
+ three-storey VILLAS on three levels of a serpentine on a mountainside among fragrant pines
THE VILLAS ARE QUIET, FRESH, COMFORTABLE and COZY. From the upper floors there is a beautiful view of ALANYA, BANANA PLANTATIONS and from some rooms the sea.
If you settle in VILLAS, then be prepared for steep ascents and descents at least 4-6 times a day
I suppose that it will be lazy for you to go to evening shows, disco and other entertainment and even sports (steps will replace aerobics for you in full), because the villas attract with silence, tranquility and comfort

But, fortunately, foreigners (and most of them in the hotel) almost do not go to the sea and prefer to sunbathe by the pools (there are pools with FRESH WATER), young people also hang out with animators by the pools, so there were enough sunbeds for everyone!

We bought one video for everyone (multiplied for those who wished) and now we are enjoying our adventure.
