We rested at UTOPIA WORLD HOTEL from 09.06 to 16.06. 2019.
I am writing a review because there are a lot of reviews about the hotel, but there are few specifics. Before planning a vacation, I read a lot of reviews, watched reviews on You Tube, but there are points that you need to consider while relaxing in this hotel.
Let's start.
The road to the hotel from Antalya Airport takes about 3.5 hours, it is 190 km along a good road. Bus big "Mercedes", planned stop in 30 minutes at the gas station. The guide girl tells information for those who are in Turkey for the first time, and also warns of new problems that may arise in the hotel and the country. We had 5 trips to hotels along the way, our last one, the road is not annoying, you can just look out the window, you can listen to music, I listened to an audio book. You can also order an individual transfer, the price is $100, the travel time is about two hours, plus, if you are traveling with a company, then $100 is divided into two or three families (transportation in a minibus up to 10 people). The price of a taxi from the airport to UTOPIA WORLD HOTEL is the same $100.
We arrived at the hotel at 13:30. At the reception they took the document for the settlement and sent for lunch. After dinner, they immediately provided a room, issued three electronic keys and four cards for towels, since we were three adults and a child, and were taken to the villa for check-in in a company car. We had a villa 4108 at the bottom under the main building with a gorgeous sea view. The room has two single beds, one double bedroom, a closet, a large TV, a safe, a refrigerator with a mini bar (two bottles of beer, fanta, cola, two carbonated drinks, two bottles of drinking water are replenished every day), on the balcony, drying for clothes two chairs, a small table. The TV shows about 5 Russian channels, 3 Ukrainian (1 + 1.2 + 2, TET), you can insert a flash drive with movies or cartoons. Bathroom and toilet are standard, lots of bottles for women. Towels are changed every day, you just need to throw them on the floor. There are slippers in the room, no bathrobes. The bed is also changed regularly, I didn’t specifically track it, but I noticed that after a small scratch in the morning the sheet was stained with blood, after cleaning everything was changed. Nice.
Since there were four of us, they tried to improve the room to a "family", but nothing worked, the hotel was 100% loaded. Keep this in mind when booking rooms.
The sea is clean. Within a week, the color changed from white to azure. In light waves, small algae nail to the shore. The beach, small pebbles, the entrance is gentle, everything is clean and tidy around, there is enough space for everyone. There is a large pontoon with sun loungers and an artificial cape. You can rent a catamaran or kayak for free. There is a bar on the beach where you can have lunch if you wish.
The restaurant is located on the -1 floor of the main building, part of the tables in the building, part on the terrace with awesome views of the sea or a large pool. Service at the highest level. In the morning there are two juicers for orange juices, there are always two or three people in line near them, but this is not critical. The food is super, every day at least two types of fish, chicken, turkey, lamb, beef, various flatbreads, side dishes, fresh vegetables, especially cherry tomatoes, salads. Watermelons, cherries, strawberries, peaches, apricots, apples, oranges. Desserts are dizzying. The last dinner was served: boiled crayfish, king prawns, grilled clams, oysters, tuna baked in salt, sushi plus the above dishes. The waiter delivers drinks, all for the guests.
Animation. I can’t say much here, because we didn’t really intersect. In the evenings there were good shows, there were vocal dance groups twice, there was Turkish folk music. A couple of times there was live music in the moon bar, there was also a DJ performance near the relax pool (super show).
Landscape and pools. The hotel is located on a mountain which means going up or down, consider those who have sore feet or who have small children. There are two elevators, which are convenient to go down to the water park. The territory of the hotel is very green, the villas are under huge pine trees, cats, chickens walk around the territory, they saw rabbits, on the way to the beach on the hill there is a goat paddock, lizards run. From the main entrance, the bus takes people to or from the beach every 15 minutes, from the bus you need to overcome 90 steps to the elevator that will lower you to the beach. There are 3 pools on the territory (Large with animation, Infiniti beautiful photos, Relax around the clock, which is very rare), there is also a water park, it has four pools (children's for very young ones with their own slides, the main one, a pool with slides and a pool with a waterfall). There are 5 slides for adults, only children from 7 to 12 years old are allowed into the sixth. There is a lazy river. You can play volleyball, football, basketball, there is a good tennis court, in the main building there are tables for small tennis. In the evenings on the lawn, sitting on pillows, you can watch a movie.
Beach towels are issued either at the SPA or on the beach, this brings some inconvenience, if you are relaxing in the water park, then to return the towels you need to go to the main building, and this is quite tiring.
Now, about the most important WI-FI, the hotel positions that it is available throughout the territory, but this is not entirely true, I will tell you my impressions: Lobi works well, sometimes crashes. Beach, water park - you can watch text news, forget about the video. Villas - text news with difficulty, the viber message goes out after a few minutes, the last two days did not work at all. If you need Internet - buy a mobile operator card and don't suffer, it's not so expensive and no problems.
Upon departure from the hotel, please note that they are picked up from the hotel the very first 6 hours before departure, you can use the individual transfer, which I mentioned above.
Let me summarize. The territory is excellent. The rooms are excellent. The food is excellent. Service is excellent. We were satisfied with the rest, everything is super. Would I go to this hotel again, of course - yes. I would recommend it to my friends, of course yes.
The hotel staff says that at the end of the season the hotel is closed for renovation, although everything is in pretty good condition.
