I want to share my impressions about my 3rd vacation in Turkey (besides this, there were 22 trips to Egypt, 1 to Sri Lanka). We rested with a very large company in Utopia World 5 * in Alanya.
Transfer: Flight Kyiv - Antalya 2.5 hours. Transfer to the hotel about 3 hours.
Check-in: Arrived at the hotel at the beginning of the eleventh morning. Polite girls at the reception said that the check-in after 14-00. Ok, it's not a problem for me, those are the rules. I didn’t have time for breakfast, they offered me a snack of pastries with tea. There was plenty of time, I did not want to sit in the lobby. I asked for a card on a towel and went to the beach. Hence the conclusion: if you have an early check-in, take your beach clothes, shoes, change clothes and go explore the hotel. Still better than waiting nervously for several hours at the reception. On the beach, I swam, rested, had lunch and came to the reception after 14-00. Settled quickly, the request to give a room not on the first floor was fulfilled. We loaded our luggage into the car and drove to the villas.
Number: the hotel consists of the main 8-storey building and many 3- and 4-storey villas. In the main building, the rooms are more expensive and, they say, better. I had a room in a villa on the second floor. From the balcony there was a stunning view of the pine forest. The room is not big, but there is room for 2 people. The room has 2 beds, wardrobe, safe, table, mirror, bedside tables, lamps, TV, kettle, cups, tea, instant coffee and cream. Everything is standard in the bathroom, branded shampoo, balm, soap, shower gel, caps and small little things like sponges, sewing kits, etc. pleased. Cleaning daily, high quality, no complaints. Minibar included: water, beer, soft drinks, replenished daily. If you do not replenish, call the reception, they will fix it.
The territory is amazing. The hotel itself is located on a mountain 105 m above sea level and is visible literally from everywhere. The area of the hotel with a territory of 105.000 sq. m. Everywhere well-groomed greenery and pine forest in the area of villas and water park. The air is clean and fresh. A banana plantation stretches along the road to the beach. It's better to see it with your own eyes. The hotel is surrounded by greenery. It is difficult to describe and long, it is better to look at the photo.
The water park is located right in the pine forest. Its territory is huge. There is a relaxation area with an artificial waterfall and hammocks. An artificial river for rafting stretches across the territory. “Rafting” is a big word, just slowly drifting along the river on an inflatable bun. The water park is represented by several children's and adult slides. Adult slides are practically not extreme, as for me, but you can ride and “fall into childhood”.
Nutrition. This is a huge plus for the hotel. They feed at the hotel almost constantly, even at night there are snacks at the lobby bar. You can eat in a huge main restaurant, in a restaurant on the beach and in a bar in the water park area (lunch, dinner). On the beach and in the water park, fast food and fruits (french fries, hamburgers, vegetables, strawberries, cherries, watermelons, etc. ) are served for lunch. In the water park, amazing guzleme (Turkish national flatbread with various fillings) is prepared in front of you. From the fillings I liked potatoes and cheese with herbs.
The main restaurant is a separate issue. The choice of dishes is huge, everything is cooked very tasty. For breakfast, yogurts, cereals, salads, vegetables, herbs, pastries, eggs, sausages, sausages, cheeses, desserts, fruits. You can make your own orange juice for breakfast, however, there are usually long queues for the juicer. There is a coffee machine with a good selection of coffees. Juice coolers are filled with juice from bags, not powder. For lunch and dinner, 2 types of soup (delicious, not water, as is often the case), a very good selection of snacks, side dishes, meat dishes, I was pleased with the choice of fish: sea bream, perch, red fish. There were also seafood. The choice of desserts is very large, for the sweet tooth it's just a paradise. There is a diet table. A lot of seasonal fruits and berries, I was pleased with a ripe watermelon in early June. There is only one problem with nutrition, to resist not to overeat. An interesting feature was the availability of free access to refrigerators with ayran and "canned" water from the highlands (photo attached). Out of all the hotels I've been to, the food here is the best. If you like good food, I definitely recommend it.
Bars: there are 8 of them (on the beach, in the water park, near the pool, lobby bar, near the amphitheater during evening shows, Laguna bar, disco bar) with different opening hours. The lobby bar is open around the clock, including not only local drinks, but also imported ones. There is Turkish coffee, they make all kinds of non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails. The choice of drinks is huge, and the quality is very high: several types of wine, whiskey, cognac, vodka, tequila, 2 types of martinis, liqueurs, brandy, beer, champagne, etc. Haven't tried everything. Other bars have a slightly smaller selection, however the quality is just as high. For whom it is important, I definitely recommend it.
Service: no complaints about the service. All employees are courteous, polite and attentive. Requests are made quickly. If you need anything in the room or some problem, you can contact the reception. Thanks to the hotel staff.
The entertainment at the hotel is also top notch. The "highlight" of the hotel is the piano in the lobby, quality "live" music plays in the evenings. Every evening in the amphitheater there are competitions held by animators or imported professional shows. Liked. Some shows are at a very high level, especially the Turkish one. I won’t say anything about daily programs, I preferred the sea and the water park. In general, the animation is not intrusive at all. After the end of the evening shows, a disco began in the Laguna bar, the music was “live”, some groups performed better, some worse. Didn't really like the repertoire: 90% "pop". Separately, there is another disco. If you wish, absolutely everyone will find entertainment for themselves.
Beach: the hotel is located on the first line from the sea, but the hotel area is so large that it is not close to get to the beach. There is a bus every 10 minutes from the reception, you can walk, the road to the beach is very picturesque. Descent to the beach by elevator or steps. The beach itself is clean, sandy, 350 m long, marked with the Blue Flag. The beach has all the necessary infrastructure: towels, changing cabins, shower, toilet, snack bar. Umbrellas, sunbeds and beach towels for free. I regret to note that the beach is too small for such a large number of guests. Some of the sun loungers are located on a pontoon built to expand the beach area, this partially solves the problem, but there is a feeling of tightness and overcrowding. But this did not interfere with the rest. There are also various water activities: banana, buns, parachute (I won’t recommend it, because I haven’t tried it).
Sea: clean and beautiful, but due to the cold winter, by the beginning of June the water was cold, but you can swim. In the first days of rest it was a little stormy. The entrance from the shore is not very smooth and convenient, it was especially difficult to get out during a storm, it is much more convenient to enter and exit along the pontoon. The color of the water ranges from emerald in calm weather to metallic gray in stormy weather.
Leisure outside the hotel:
1. In Alanya, a street agency bought rafting (rafting on a mountain river) for $20. I liked it very much. We were picked up after breakfast, transfer to the base for 3 hours. We rafted on kayaks, other tourists on rafts. Kayaking is much more extreme, because. they roll much easier. The rapids were of medium difficulty, almost overturned a couple of times. The water temperature in the river is invigorating +5 degrees. The combination of extreme sports, clean air and breathtaking landscapes, what could be better? I highly recommend it for extreme sportsmen.

2. Shopping. From the barrier near the hotel there is a regular shuttle bus to the center of Alanya. The road is 40 minutes. The cost is 3 lira per person one way. I took olive soap, creams and coffee with cardamom.
On the way to the airport, tourists are brought to the supermarket, where they have everything from sweets to jewelry. My heart trembled, I could not resist and bought a ring with sultanite (changes color depending on the lighting: from lilac to bright green) as a memory of the trip. By the way, I don’t advise buying jewelry or things at the hotel, prices are an order of magnitude higher than in supermarkets. Imagine how much it costs to rent retail space in this hotel, and what prices for goods need to be set in order to “cover” the rent.
Overall impression of the holiday: the hotel impresses with its location, architecture and nature. It has absolutely everything for a comfortable stay, if you wish, you can not even go beyond. The service is at a good level, the food is excellent, the presence of a water park is a nice bonus, the rooms are comfortable, the territory is well-groomed, the entertainment is worthy. Quality, in principle, corresponds to the price. I found almost no cons. Highly recommend.
