Was in utopia from 09/16/11 to 09/23/11 with his wife and 5-year-old child. In general, I liked it very much. The hotel itself stands on a mountain and vydy there - it's something with something. Pros:
1. As for me, the biggest plus is that "Utopia" managed to solve the problem of heat, namely, not only with the help of cooling in the pools (of which there are 6 by the way), but by arranging a pine park on the northern slope, at the bottom of which there is a small water park (2 children slides and 6 adults + all sorts of fun). And when it was +40 near the main hotel building and it was difficult for me personally to be there even regularly swimming and relaxing under an umbrella, then in the water park I gladly napped under the pines (where I think it was a maximum of +27). It was unrealistic to pull the child away from the slides.
2. Surrounding views - the sea, Alanya and the mountains, the first two are preferable.

3. Nutrition - very good (even for such a demanding person like me) Lamb and turkey dishes - not bad. From fish - trout, halibut is also delicious. More olives, cheese, watermelons, rice and of course gozleme (under the pool bar, a Turkish woman bakes pancakes with cheese, meat, potatoes or sugar in front of you. Especially cool with cheese and beer... ) The rest of the dishes are so-so (as for me ).
Drinks: For alcohol, you need to go to the lobby bar - Canadian whiskey, tolerable cognac, martini, Baileys are poured there for free. The rest of the alcohol in the hotel - even that swill. (I personally took a couple of bottles of alcohol with me in the duty station upon departure and did not regret it). Vodka, rum - as for me bullshit, beer - I think diluted, wine - also not really. I was in a la carte - Turkish (bad, I don’t recommend going there), but the fish one is not bad at all.
By the way, they make relatively normal Turkish coffee and tea (brewed) in the lobby, but I didn’t like the one from the vending machines.
4. Good service - cleaning (leaving true tips), staff attitude, etc.
5. Tez tour clearly organized everything - thanks to him.
6. Due to the large number of pools, bars, etc. , there is no crowd anywhere and almost everywhere you can find a couple - three free sun loungers.
Cons: 1. In the main building, there are three absolutely debility elevators (they were programmed for sure by an idiot), which are required there for such a crowd at least five.
2. Beach: as everyone writes - when entering the sea - the stones get very strong, but I jumped from the pier and the norm. The beach is far from the hotel, but you can go there by minibus (which I did).
3. Animation is really rather weak (for both children and adults), but I didn’t go for animation, so I didn’t really care, but the child got away with it.
Before that, I rested 3 years ago at the Catamaran 5-star hotel (near Kemer) - Utopia is an order of magnitude better in every way (except that the beach is further)
In general, we have determined such an average daily route: in the morning - at the sea, immediately after lunch (in the heat) - a water park, from it again to the sea, but in the evening - who goes where (sauna, lobby bar, a la carte, disco, etc. )

Conclusion: for the money - Utopia is one of the best hotels. I want to go there again and recommend it to everyone. By the way, this opinion was shared by other tourists whom I met there.
