Good day to all! I am now resting in Utopia. satisfied with the hotel. Starting from the resettlement. We arrived at the hotel around 11 o'clock in the afternoon. I just filled out the form, gave my passport and immediately received the key to the room. We were not forced to wait 14 hours, and this despite the fact that the hotel was at a stop from the date of our arrival. The room was not cleaned, the porter immediately called the maids, they apologized, cleaned everything, made a swan with rose petals. Later they brought a plate of fruit and wine. I understand that upon arrival they bring it to everyone, because I saw that they brought the same to other rooms. For my husband's birthday, the same was a plate of fruit, a bottle of wine and a postcard. Nicely. The room was given the one I asked the hotelier in advance (I don’t know how to spell it correctly) on the Internet. I put $20 in my passport. I don’t know which of these worked, but the room I wanted, with a sea view over the relax pool, that is, after the end of the evening show, you can sleep peacefully. Only the sound of the sea is heard. In the morning we even specially open the balcony, enjoy the sound of the surf. Only this remains, the sea this year (and we have a rest in Turkey every year since 2002) is not gentle. On the day of our arrival, May 19, the renovated pier was to be opened. But starting from 18 and all day 19 there was a strong storm, smashed the pier, tore off the green paths, the poor palm tree at the end of the pier was probably all salty, swallowed to the fullest. Now it has been removed. Quietly, sooooo quietly, the pier was restored, but the ladders were not lowered. The sea after the storm is very dirty, it is not pleasant to enter it from the shore, but it was not possible from the pier. Yesterday we were delighted, the pier was fully operational, the gangway was lowered, the shower on the pier was turned on. For the first time I enjoyed swimming in the sea. In the evening, they turned on the lighting on the pier, everything seems to be great... But! In the evening yesterday again (May 23) a storm began and today all day, the boards were again knocked out... It was simply not possible to swim today, the waves were huge. It's a shame, there is not much rest left, will they restore it before our departure? In general, how many have been in Turkey (and we usually always have a rest around the same time in the second half of May, only once in June. ) there has never been such weather. We were in Kemer, Side, Belek, Lara and Kundu, in Alanya for the first time, we were always told that it was warmer here than in other areas. But we were unlucky with the weather today. Well, today we had a planned excursion, anyway, there would be no time to swim in the sea. By the way, I highly recommend this tour. First, to the fortress of Alanya, then half an hour in the textile center, then a cave and a restaurant on a mountain river. The fortress itself did not impress, especially the textile center, but the cave is very beautiful and bewitching, worth a look. And the restaurant on the river is cool, on sheer cliffs it is multi-tiered, some kind of exotic look. Very beautiful! All the tourists from our big bus were happy. In conclusion, I will say to everyone that I recommend this hotel for a holiday. Just read more reviews, so that there are no made-up illusions. I was ready for the steps, and for the not very clean (but not so much! ) Sea. I don't see any other shortcomings in the hotel. Pierce will do, he is good. The hotel, everything in it, and the room, and the pools, and the territory, and the food (which they are very happy with), not to mention the most beautiful views, I liked everything! Someone already wrote and I support, at least once you need to visit this hotel! We were in different hotels, including luxury ones. everywhere about the same. In Utopia, there are completely different feelings and impressions, everything is very thought out, despite the full load, there is no feeling of a crowd, even in a restaurant. Every day free, without queues strawberries, melons, watermelons in general and for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea. dinner. Baklava in different versions for lunch and dinner! Do not listen to those who sometimes write bad things about the kitchen! We have something to compare. The animation team is the same fellows. We are already fed up with "home-grown" animation and do not go to contests like Miss or Mr. Hotel, we are tired of it after so many years. But there was also a Turkish night with belly dancing, and today we watched, so to speak, parodies of animators on famous pop artists. Well done, they dance very well and beautifully, professional training is felt. There is no time to write more, it’s a pity to waste time on this. If something interests you, please ask.
