Utopia really somehow subtly resembles a good Crimean boarding house - even rows of houses, tall pine trees, mountains ...I will say right away that we rested in a five-star hotel for the first time (well, don’t count the Presa di Finica misunderstanding as a five, really), so we can compare Utopia only with good fours.

•TERRITORY

Local gardeners are probably familiar with magic. How else to explain the fact that they manage to turn the hotel into a botanical garden, remaining almost invisible?

The territory, vegetation, views and landscapes are beautiful, amazing, magical. Photo lovers will love it. The fauna is represented by the ubiquitous cats and chickens. Oddly enough, banal chickens cause a storm of delight among the kids. And when a hen with chickens appeared, the excitement around her was such that I seriously began to fear that the kids would be taken away for souvenirs.

From our house in the second row to the main building there were 120 steps, from the main building to the water park - about 300. You can not go along the steps, but get along the roads, this is a little longer, but less tiring.

•ROOM

Photos of the hotelier are fully consistent with reality. The room is very good, bright, the furniture is in good condition. If something broke, or something is needed, it is enough to inform the reception, everything was decided on the same day. The maids were friendly and cleaned well. A strange feature: if you leave a dollar, they will simply remove it, if you don’t leave it, they will also wind swans)) In the bathroom there is shampoo, hair balm, bath foam, shower gel. The minibar contains cola, fanta, sprite and 2 bottles of water. There is an electric kettle, tea and coffee. Everything was replenished in a timely manner.

•POOLS

In Utopia, a paradise for lovers of night swimming, the relaxation pool near the amphitheater is open until 2 am. The most beautiful panoramic pool with a waterfall and a view of the surroundings.
The main pool with animation is noisy for my taste. 2 pools in the water park: large and small with water slides.

•AQUAPARK

The water park has 5 slides, 1 of them was broken, very interesting. Closed white slide for skating in circles - just fly away! The canyon is boring in my opinion. Advice to ladies - ride the "toilet" in a bathing suit without fasteners and ties on the back, otherwise bruises are guaranteed.

For kids, a separate area has been created with children's water slides, a playground with swings, carousels, hammocks for parents.

In the bar at the water park until 16:00 you can eat: delicious gozleme, tasteless pizza, french fries, salads, fruits.

•SEA

The first week there were strong waves, every day. Adult lovers of jumping on the waves expanse, families with small ones were not very good. Then the weather calmed down, and it was calm for another week.

For those who go to the sea to improve the kids by sea bathing, the hotel is not very suitable - there is no children's pool with sea water, there are about 50 steps down from the stop to the elevator to the beach (there are no ramps). True, the presence of an excellent water park compensates for these shortcomings.

The beach is large, sandy, there are small pebbles in the surf zone, large stones are found at the bottom. There are enough places on the beach and sunbeds for everyone. True, there are a lot of broken sunbeds on the pier.

•SPA CENTER

In general, we liked it. The sauna is stable 92 *, the hammam is clean with a stretch ceiling and a "starry sky". There is also a steam room, but almost no one uses it, perhaps because of the specific smell. 2 swimming pools - large regular and small with hydromassage. Cozy - pictures, aquariums, candles are burning, and soft "relaxing" music sounds.
Unfortunately, the women's locker room is somewhat out of the picture, the toilet should have been cleaned better, otherwise the smell can be heard from there already a few meters from the locker room.

Beach towels are allowed to be changed once a day. And the employees of the SPA center are vigilant: if they notice that you come for the second time in a day for a towel, they turn 180 °. It’s very nice, of course, to lie on the wet all day ((True, as they said in one famous film: “If there is a gravitsappa on this Plyuk, then we’ll get it. And they didn’t get it like that ... ” - you can find a way out: just change it to beach, once in the SPA center, once the wife goes to change, once the husband...But what are these soviet jokes in five-star Turkey for?

•EVENING ENTERTAINMENT FOR ADULTS

For every taste. You can sit in the lobby bar and listen to live music, they play the piano every evening.

You can go to the terrace of the lobby bar and read (there are lanterns above the tables and brighter lighting) or admire the scenery. You can arrange a night swim in the relax pool, it is open for swimming until 2:00. You can walk around the territory, sit at one of the tables, there are many of them on the territory, including those overlooking the sea. You can lie in a hammock and listen to the crickets. You can listen to live music in the lagoon bar and dance. When we first arrived, a cool rock band performed there, their repertoire even included songs in Russian. What was happening on the dance floor when they sang WWW Leningrad ... ))) Unfortunately, then a Mexican singer began to perform instead of them, and this, alas, was not that, not at all ...

Evening animation - like everywhere else, no better and no worse. There is a disco, but we have never been there, I can not say anything about it. Visiting shows came a couple of times, not bad. The foam party was 1 time in two weeks, cool!
•DAY ANIMATION

I can only say good things about the animators - the guys are cheerful, friendly, energetic, everything goes on schedule, lively and noisy. However, Utopia was the first hotel in which we practically did not participate in animation and did not learn the club dance. The fact is that almost all the animation is concentrated near the main pool, but we were not interested there, we spent time mainly at the sea or in the water park. True, a couple of times on the beach and in the water park there was gymnastics and water aerobics ...

In general, the organization of the animation is underdeveloped, IMHO. There were not enough caps for the water polo players, they played with rubber bands from their shorts on their heads. Aerobics is held on the bridge by the main pool, under the sun and in full view of onlookers. Vacationers on the beach and in the water park are practically not covered by animation.

Internet is weak. Works for a couple of minutes, then falls off. Communicating with relatives via Skype turned out every other time, which was very upsetting.
•FOOD

70% of the food in the restaurant was not to my taste. But here's the remaining 30% ...I'm not something that was full, I almost went to pieces at the seams from gluttony.

Breakfast, as elsewhere in Turkey, is Mediterranean, but varied. Omelet of several types: with milk, with sausages; scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, noodle casserole, fried sausages, fried liver, potatoes, donuts, croissants, Viennese waffles, cheese (feta, sheep, creamy, melted with spices and herbs), several types of sausage and olives, buns with different fillings, hot sandwiches, cucumbers, tomatoes, bananas, a large selection of breakfast cereals, dried fruits, nuts.

Dinner and supper. Red fish, trout, veal, beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, lots of vegetables and side dishes. Grill for dinner every day. I usually bypass a table with ready-made salads, because this is traditionally a cemetery of yesterday's lunches and dinners in various sauces and marinades. But in Utopia and on this table there were delicious fresh snacks.
Fruits: 2 kinds of grapes, nectarines, apples, pears, plums, melons, oranges. Oddly enough, fruits are so-so, in our stores they are sold tastier. Desserts are beyond praise!

From drinks, juices (real, from packages, excellent! ), tea, Nescafe coffee, coffee with milk, cappuccino, water.

The restaurant often lined up in a queue, about 20 people, but, in principle, you could ignore it, do not take the food for which it lined up, you will not stay hungry.

A small wish to the hotelier is to put coasters with paper napkins on the tables in the main restaurant. At first, I was ashamed of the denseness of my compatriots wiping their mouths with linen napkins, then I realized that it was not so much their fault - you would not immediately figure out where to look for paper napkins in a restaurant ...

•ITALIAN a la carte

Let me tell you about the dishes we tried.
I don’t recommend tomato soup with vegetables and pasturma, it’s better not to take ordinary tomato soup, the same as in an ordinary restaurant, so as not to spoil your appetite before a hot dish. Tortellini with shrimp and mushrooms - essentially the same dumplings, the taste is so-so, similarly - it's better not to take it so as not to spoil your appetite before a hot dish. Lasagna is delicious. The main dishes were fried chicken with herbs and veal tenderloin. Very very tasty! But, unfortunately, we were so full of soup, appetizers and salads that the main course could no longer fit)) For dessert, we took pudding and tiramisu. Tiramisu turned out to be an ordinary chocolate cake, of which there are many in the main restaurant, the pudding was also from the main restaurant.

But in general, I really liked the service and atmosphere, and the food is about the same as in the main restaurant.

•"I'M GOING TO THIS HOTEL"

Of course, I read in the reviews about moving to Atlanta for the first day.

Honestly, I hoped that this mark on the site and a letter to the hotel would save me from a similar fate. It turned out - it seemed)) The only bonus I received was 0.5l of "rusk" and a plate of fruit in the room on the day of arrival.

•GENERAL IMPRESSION

Utopia is a tourist-friendly hotel. Vacationers feel good here, they are loved and taken care of. What is it expressed in? In a thousand little things. Arriving guests are greeted by hostesses in beautiful costumes, with cold towels. Very friendly and helpful guest-relationship and reception. Any issue was resolved immediately and with a smile.
Glasses for the beach and pools are unbreakable, but not disposable, and not made of cheap plastic, but similar to glass; on the bus to the beach, waterproof seat covers to keep wet-ass tourists from leaving wet spots behind; in the toilets there are small children's toilets and changing mats; when you leave the room, the light does not turn off immediately after you take out the card, but only after the door slams behind you; showers on the beach are poked at every turn; the beach-boy in the water park with a smile pushes the vacationers on the circles so that the descent is faster and more extreme, etc. , etc. Nyashki at every step))

It’s a pity Thomas More didn’t live, he would have liked it ...

I would not want to talk about sad things, but, as they say, you can’t throw out a word from a song ((

• SETTLEMENT OR THIS TERRIBLE WORD "ATLANTA"

Usually in reviews I don’t write about resettlement - well, they arrived, well, they settled in the room, what’s interesting here?
But in this case, there is something to write about, unfortunately.

When we filled out the questionnaire and went to the reception to get the keys to the room, we were told that there were not enough places in the hotel and offered a choice - or we would be settled immediately in Utopia, on the second line, in the farthest villas, on the first floor, with damp , for all 2 weeks, that is, without the prospect of moving to a normal room when the hotel has such an opportunity, or we agree to “cooperate with the administration” and spend the night in another hotel, for this we will be settled in a good room - on the first line , top floor, sea view. In addition to a good room, we were promised a free visit to the hammam "with service" and a trip to the a la carte restaurant. (Looking ahead, I’ll say that a bath in the hammam that a hotel gives for a night in Atlanta is not at all the same set of services lasting 1.
5-2 hours, to which we are all accustomed, everything is limited to peeling with a mitt + foam massage and lasts 10.15 minutes at most, after which the attendant offers to lie down on the couch and drink iced tea from the cooler. If you want a massage, you need to pay extra, only 30 dollars. For some reason, when promising us a visit to the hammam, the reception staff “forgot” to mention these details. )

Since we didn’t want to live for 2 weeks in a distant villa with dampness, but go to a hammam and save $100 at the same time (a hammam “with service” in Utopia costs $50 per nose), on the contrary, we really wanted to, we went to Atlanta. At first glance - the usual three-ruble note, nothing special. When we entered the room, a large cockroach crawled out from somewhere and moved its mustache in a friendly way. This is where we get a little frustrated. Then we realized that there was no hot water there, we would not be able to take a shower from the road, and we were a little more upset.
Then we calculated how much one day of our vacation cost, which we spent not in a deluxe hotel, but in a cockroach shelter, compared this amount with the average salary in our area, and it became completely sad ...As a result, the next morning at 9:00 we were settled in a villa No. 23 on the second line, however, on the 3rd floor and overlooking the sea.

It’s still a sin for us to complain - after a night in Atlanta, our acquaintances were settled in villa No. 17; two large families of vacationers were “compacted” and settled with the whole crowd in one room, the next morning one family was told that they would remain “crowded, but not offended” for another day, and the second family at 12:00 was still sitting on their suitcases and waiting for resettlement . Of those who arrived on the same day with us from Teztur, all were subjected to “deportation”. According to the guide, Anex had a similar situation. And a couple of days later we met a family from Kyiv with a 3-month-old (! ) child, who bought a tour to the "standard" in the main building, but also did not avoid getting to know Atlanta. Not good…
It is because of the relocation to Atlanta that I will not return to Utopia and will not recommend it to my friends. Indeed, in Turkey there are enough good five-star hotels of the same price category, but without jokes in the form of deportation to a bedbug without hot water.
