I have visited a lot of places before, I didn’t always write reviews, but it’s impossible not to write about Kandelore.

After reading positive reviews, we planned a vacation in Candelore with a big company. In addition to me, 6 more families went to this hotel (15 people in total). These are my friends and we decided to celebrate a birthday in Alanya. But...

ACCOMMODATION. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed that our rooms were occupied. Despite our indignation, some were sent to another hotel for a day, and one family was settled for a day in some kind of dirty building, where even the room was not cleaned (for example, someone left their dirty underpants in the closet). It was promised the next day at 12-00 we will be picked up from a temporary hotel and placed very well. Forgot to pick up. I had to send a messenger to Candelore and only after that did the transfer arrive. So, instead of swimming in the sea, we were busy moving from the makeshift hotel back to Candelore. But even now everything was not decided quickly.
There was a problem with available rooms. In solving this situation, the guide of the Anex tour helped us, and after several hours of swearing (sometimes very loud), we were settled. In connection with this problem, I contacted my travel agent, and he contacted Anex-tour directly. He texted me via viber that the hotel replied to Anex tour, that all our problems were successfully resolved and my family was provided with an improved room and a free safe. It was a lie. The room is ordinary at the end of the corridor of the top floor. They charged $12 for the safe for 6 nights. The safe that I paid for was broken and I had to run around until it was fixed. Tellingly, they asked me for a statement of no claims, which I did not write. By the way, other people I didn’t know who came to Candelore that day also suffered from the fraud with the settlement. Therefore, the accommodation is a complete disaster.

THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL is good. Around a full-fledged urban infrastructure.
To the beach 10 minutes at a leisurely pace.

The HOTEL is small. There is practically no territory. The pool is very small and sometimes crowded. There are not enough sun loungers by the pool for everyone (photo). There is practically no lobby, it is decorated exclusively wretchedly (photo). The lobby turns into a restaurant with a bar. There were always enough tables in the restaurant for everyone, but the room was not air conditioned. The open doors did not save us from stuffiness, because it was 35-37 degrees outside. As long as you drink warm soup, seven sweats will come off. Since the main dishes were located on the same showcase, there were queues. The restaurant and the bar are unsanitary. It is impossible to understand who is the bartender in the hotel, the functions of the bartender are performed by all employees. He just washed the floor, now he pours me a beer. No one washes their hands between these operations. At the same time, apparently, a special chic is to take a glass with dirty hands not by the leg, but by its very upper edge. Drink if you don't mind!
After dinner, the collected dirty dishes are stored on the bar and only then carried away to the sink. As an illustration of dirt - a child seat standing near the trash can and sprinkled with garbage (photo).

The ROOM is small, but with a balcony and furniture not completely killed yet. TV, air conditioning, kettle. Everything worked. The fridge didn't cool much, but it was there. The bathroom is extremely compact, one and a half by one and a half. Plumbing and hair dryer were serviceable. But the things removed before the shower have nowhere to hang - neither a hook nor a carnation. There is simply no place for them. Very closely. One bottle of water was supplied per day. The bed linen was changed once in a week.

NUTRITION. The hotel has a good chef. The range of dishes offered is very meager, but everything is cooked to the conscience and quite edible. The exception is breakfast.

BEACH. The description of the hotel states that sunbeds and umbrellas on the Cleopatra beach area No. 7 are free.

But when I came to the beach with my wife and daughter for the first time and took a free trestle bed, a local approached me and began to demand payment. I asked him to introduce himself and explain why he wants money. Immediately another person came up and already the two of them literally yelled at me. Or took place in broken English. But I clearly recognized the words pay, not free, crazy, get out. These people were clearly overexcited, so I didn't wait for the discussion to get hot and "did get out" somewhere else. One, the older one, called himself Erdogan. After returning to the hotel, I asked at the reception what it was all about. After all, number 7 is free for vacationers. The girl from the reception agreed with my indignation, but explained that they have such realities in all hotels. She promised to report the incident to the manager. It is known that all sorts of crooks revolve around tourists in many countries. At first I could not think that these people were hotel employees.
But what was my surprise when I saw this Erdogan in the evening talking with a hotel employee at the reception. He was clearly his own person there. That is, on the beach I was threatened and extorted money by a hotel employee?!

The next day, the situation repeated itself with other tourists - a young couple. As soon as they took the "paid" place, this Erdogan literally ran up to them (pictured with glasses) with another hotel employee and drove them. At that time, I had a camera in my hands. I am attaching pictures. I have no doubt that this is regularly repeated with other vacationers.

The fact that the other person is a hotel employee is beyond doubt. I regularly saw him at the hotel washing the floor in the restaurant, cleaning dirty dishes, pouring drinks for vacationers.

Although in general most of the staff are normal, although not trained, people.

Something like that. Of course the hotel is not four stars.
Maybe if we changed the manager in it, we would be able to solve some problems and then it would correspond to the official description. But so far this is the worst hotel I have ever been to.
