We had a family vacation at the hotel from September 19th. Previously, this hotel was called Sentido Gold Island, we can say for this reason that we chose it, as there is a positive experience of staying at the Sentido hotel. But having arrived there, it turned out that Sentido sold this hotel to a neighboring one, and now it consists of 2 blocks and is simply called Gold Island (if I understand correctly). We lived in block B on the 3rd floor. This block looks more modern than block A, rather fresh and stylish renovation. We had a 2-room suite. The rooms are medium in size and have a large balcony. Basically, it wasn't crowded. The only thing in the toilet periodically smelled of sewage, but not critical. And now, in order. . . Of course, we were a little disappointed, because we were counting on the level of the Sentido hotel, but what happened, it happened. . . Cleaning in the rooms was C grade. The floor is washed only in the center, dirt was left in the corners (once I had to wash the floor myself - it was already impossible to walk on the floor when dirt clings to my feet). They left tips every day - they twirled swans, tied the curtains with a bow, and the dirt on the floor remained the same. Yes, and dust is everywhere, on tables, plafonds. Complained 2 times. On the second time, the truth is all well removed. The first days there were problems with the shower, there was a weak pressure and the water flowed either cold or boiling water. It was very difficult to wash, especially for children. But after a few days, apparently someone complained and the problem was fixed. The sink is made in such a way that it is difficult to wash it and mold forms in the corners. The food is quite tasty, but the assortment is small, especially for breakfast. Breakfasts and dinners were in block B and A, and lunches were only in block A. Apparently the owner saves so much. And in general there was an impression that they save on everything here. The dishes are poorly washed and there are sooo many dishes with chips (well, just a shame for the top five). There are no tablecloths on the tables, only narrow rags that only get in the way. At lunch, there is a queue for food. Block A is already quite shabby. Not enough gloss, as they say. On the territory of 3 beaches. The beach right at the exit from block B is practically unsuitable for swimming, huge sharp stones and waves. 2 beaches on the right - the one to the left is not bad, but there are a lot of people, and the one to the right looks like a frog pool, as if he came to the local lake to swim (there is not enough view of the sea))) There is no beautiful pier, it seems they started to do something, but that's all some abandoned, unfinished. We also encountered an unpleasant moment of lack of sunbeds, vacationers leave towels and leave. No one keeps a record of towels, as much as you want, you take as many as you like, many people throw them anywhere, and then people have nowhere to sit. The first row near the sea was generally covered with towels at night, so get up at least at 6 in the morning, you still won’t find a good place... The hotel area is quite large, but I will mark this as a minus. The first days were constantly lost and confused (since the hotel was converted from 2 into one, everything is somehow awkward and incorrectly planned). And in the evenings it’s kind of boring in general, everyone goes to nooks and crannies, there are almost no people, as if everyone is dying out. The children's disco is monotonous, I have never heard a single children's song in Russian. The child didn't like it. Playgrounds 2, but no use. On the first, near block B, only a slide and a couple of horses on springs, as well as constantly rubbish - pieces of paper and spilled ice cream, were steadily lying around. On the second site there is also a playground with a slide and a trampoline, but everything is worn out and shabby. And the trampoline is just dangerous! It's full of holes and patches. I was afraid to let my child go there. Of the pluses, I will note only a private transfer. In general, my opinion is that 5 stars is very stretched! 4, also with a minus! Yes, and positive reviews and high scores on the sites, this is only the merit of the Sentido hotel, which this hotel still uses!
