We rested in SENTIDO Gold Island from May 12 to May 19.2013. The hotel left only good memories and impressions. Check-in at the hotel was around 16:00 and the settlement procedure took 10 minutes (without any additional fees): cards are filled out and your luggage is discreetly delivered to the room. We lived on the fifth floor, room 521. The room is large, bright and spacious. The furniture is new, everything works, slippers, bathrobes, a kettle, a set for making coffee and tea, water are included. A spacious balcony with a beautiful view, satellite TV catches 5 Russian channels, Wi-Fi in the room, in the hotel and throughout the hotel is free. The speed of the Internet depends on your location, the closer to the main building of the hotel, the faster it is, it is quite enough to view social networks, mail and various pages.

The food is varied and very tasty. You are fed from 5 am to 1 am. Delicious ice cream at the snack bar from 12:00 to 17:00. You can also eat pizza and hamburgers there.

There are no problems with water, take as many bottles as you like, there are refrigerators with it throughout the hotel. Delicious free Turkish cakes by the pool are prepared at the same time as the ice cream. Small selection of cocktails: if you want variety, for an additional fee. Waiter service is carried out throughout the hotel. The staff is pleasant, friendly, quiet and not intrusive. Visiting the a la carte restaurant is free of charge 1 time when staying at the hotel for more than 5 days. The restaurant has two cuisines: fish and Italian, we tried Italian: very tasty cheesecake and tiramisu, everything else is similar to the main restaurant, but beautiful presentation))

The location of the hotel is excellent, wherever you go, the sea is all around. On the right is the bay, on the left is the open sea. The water is clear, there were small fish.
The beach is sand, the entry into the sea is gentle and also sandy, the beach strip stretches throughout the bay, along the hotels, it is a great place for morning jogging and evening walks. ). There is not much vegetation on the territory of the hotel, but this impression does not spoil, many flower beds, green lawns, palm trees and the sea...

Entertainment-water slides, gym, indoor disco (for a fee), aqua aerobics, darts, table tennis, tennis (deposit, paid-night lighting), billiards, games room, indoor pool with Jacuzzi. Animators turn on music by the pool during the day, a pianist plays in the lobby in the evening, Turkish evening on Saturdays. And there are also cards, lotto, chess, checkers and monopoly)))))

In general, dancing until dawn and foam parties are absent.

The hotel has a spa: Turkish bath-$50, photographer services. There is a building under construction in the area of ​ ​ the hotel, but it is not nearby, so the noise does not interfere with rest. Near the hotel, 10 min.
walking distance, there is a Turkish bazaar, various souvenir shops (prices are good). Every day there is a free bus to Alanya from the hotel: from 11:15 to 15:00 and from 15:30 to 23:15. We went twice, it's very convenient, they landed at a bus stop, almost on the embankment itself, in the very center with shops, cafes and parks.


The hotel staff does not speak Russian, they speak English and German. For Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking guests there is a nice young man Farid-Gestrelation. On all questions to him, he will solve any problem if you have difficulties in communicating in a foreign language. The hotel is Europeanized, the bulk of vacationers are Germans-70%, the rest are British, Russians, Turks. There are very few children in the hotel, which was a plus for us. The staff does not take tips, for this they have special tips boxes (tip boxes).
Summing up the rest, I would like to say that the hotel is designed for a leisurely, smooth beach and pool holiday, with excellent food, staff and infrastructure.
