In August-September 2006, my wife and I celebrated our honeymoon at this hotel. Overall, I really liked it, but there are still some comments. But first things first.
The beginning was unpleasant - the settlement.
The settlement is exceptionally long and "incomprehensible".
We were the first to arrive at the hotel early in the morning. We were told that the settlement will be only after 14:00 (which made us very happy! ). In the meantime, they offered to sit in the lobby of the main building : (
Before 2 pm, a lot of people arrived. Somewhere at 13 o'clock they offered to fill in registration cards.
Approximately an hour late, that is, at 15 o'clock they began to settle. Moreover, the keys were not issued in the order of the queue (ish what they wanted), but in the order "as we want"!
As a result, we got the keys at the very end, thus finally killing our first day in Turkey.
A special mention is the transportation from the reception to the room ...A bunch of people are packed into a small truck and the driver starts to deliver them.
(The territory of the hotel is rather big, and this service would be very useful, if not... ) Bringing another tourist to his room, the driver turned off the engine and went to take things. At the same time, he did it for so long that it seemed that in addition to delivering luggage to the room, he at least made repairs there : )
When we got to our room, we quickly threw things into the closet and ran to the beach to really spend what was left of the first day. On the beach, they seem to have calmed down and come to their senses.
After dinner, we were completely relaxed.
We talked with friends (we were traveling with another couple), shared our impressions ...And then the conversation turned to "VIEWS FROM THE WINDOW". Friends said that they have a sea view (although not direct, but still! ). We could not say anything, because the window was covered with a curtain (very thick) and we were in a hurry (we were in a hurry to the beach) and did not look there. We also thought there would be a sea view ...No matter how.
When we came to our room and pulled back the curtain, we saw...that we had a view of the wall and the legs of those passing above...In addition to this, in the evening it turned out that the balcony door was not locked and spiders were climbing into the room...I did not expect such a turn!
We went to the representatives of the travel agency (we went through the Tez Tour). I say so they say and so ...Honeymoon and here it is!
In response: "No problem, minute. " I immediately called the reception, talked to someone and said, they say, come to the reception, and they will offer you a replacement!
They did offer a replacement. Moreover, the standard room was replaced with a Junior Suite with a sea view!!!
The rest were only positive emotions and impressions!
So, if you are going to rest in this hotel, be sure to check the room immediately. In which case - do not be afraid to contact the representatives of the company.
We were trained by local guys Shamil and Aykhan! A big thank you to them for a great job!
But don't try to make a fuss!
State your requests and claims calmly! Then the response will be the same.
By the way, when I was talking about changing the number, some "madame with hysteria" ran in and began to swear unbearably about the terrible service and nightmarish number. The answer was: - "there are no other free rooms! ". And we were replaced without a single word!
And finally, just in a nutshell: the hotel is very beautiful. Just an incredible amount of greenery, flowers, palm trees and other vegetation. Quite tasty food (although everyone decides for himself).
The sea is clean, but you should not expect anything special from it. We were pleased with the storm ...We got amazing photos against its background!
