We were in Tropical for 7 days. After reading the reviews, I was worried about some points: a dubious beach (for a child), dubious food and hotel accommodation. I don’t know, maybe we were lucky, but when we arrived at the hotel for dinner, we immediately received a friendly welcome, we were immediately told that our room was ready, but we had dinner, then we returned to the reception and we were immediately taken to our room (in a quiet place near the relax pool, spacious, although the 3rd bed was additionally delivered, but this did not "stole" space in the room at all). Everything worked in the room, I didn’t notice anything peeled and rusty (although I didn’t go with a magnifying glass on purpose : )) I dreamed of a good view from the balcony, but the view was on a wall, a palm tree and a cactus, although this did not bother us, on the contrary, it added a sense of privacy. The room was not dark, but there was no terrible sun either (palm trees and the wall probably helped : )). Can interfere with the noise of the freeway (audible at night, but did not bother us). There is not a single window in the hotel buildings facing the road - I checked. The staff treated us kindly and unobtrusively. . An interesting fact: after tipping the maid for $1, we saw that she just put towels in a pile, after which we didn’t put anything in, and each time they laid out a fan or butterflies for us : ) We were greedy with shampoo and shower gel, and a trash can in the corridor the rooms were cleaned 1 time on the 5th day (everything was cleaned properly in the bathroom and the room). In terms of food: yes, the breakfasts were a little embarrassing (similar to European ones, but we had enough of them, we didn’t go hungry before dinner); I liked lunches and dinners (everything was delicious). I think that men could remain dissatisfied: breakfasts for them mainly consisted of scrambled eggs and omelettes, the sausage was tasteless, probably soy), and the rest of the time, men could be offended by a small assortment of meat and fish dishes or their portions. She herself observed how a 2-meter-long man asked for a double portion of chicken legs (they were given 2 each), and he was not refused. I personally managed to eat 2 different mystic dishes each time, not counting side dishes and appetizers. The menu is not suitable for children under 2 years old. They gave fish 1 time, 1 time mussels with mushrooms, and so basically - chicken, beef, various types of meatballs (delicious, with spices and gravy, sort of like beef), there was a liver, dishes with minced meat, shawarma. For 1 week, nothing from the meat was repeated on the menu (in the main interpretations). From fruits: watermelons, melons, grapes. Desserts: Syrup-soaked pastries, custard rolls, something like puddings and mousses (almost the same every day), but in abundance, most liked them. I love vegetables and greens and dishes from them, so I can say that here they were very tasty and varied. The grill was popular. Garnish with potatoes (different), pasta, rice (different). Very tasty cakes stuffed with cheese and minced meat were made by a Turkish woman after dinner (during the hamburger time, it’s a pity that we weren’t hungry and ignored them). We never went to lunch (we couldn’t eat so often), she took the child to hamburgers only 2 times. Beer, gin and tonic, whiskey (for dad), wine (red and white) - liked. The sea was cool, we swam without slippers, but it is open, so when the waves almost no one swam (we got this in recent days). The pools are wonderful, but there were problems with free sunbeds (they were "booked" with towels from the night, because at 7.00 in the morning there was not a single free one near the relaxing pool - it was very annoying, especially when they saw what kind of a day a person came to the pool only after lunch). The hotel area is green, amazing, it is looked after, but get ready to add the hum of cicadas to this exotic (they scream only during the day, however, but it gives the feeling of some kind of jungle). The kids liked the mini zoo (you can feed everyone there). Good animators (Natasha and the kids worked with a bang). You have to be careful with excursions (the guide at the hotel will sell them 2 times more expensive, but we went). A separate word about the hammam advertised by the guide (it is not in the hotel): the guide advises the hammam, but they bring it to the spa, where be prepared for the fact that before visiting the hammam itself you will visit a whole bunch of spa treatments (various types of saunas, salt and aroma -a room, mud, foam, a jacuzzi, a pool with slides, fish that will peel your legs, and Asians will give you an oil massage. . . ) So you won’t get Turkish exotics in their pure form here, and probably it would be cheaper . I liked the trip to Alanya (tour "super Alanya"), but keep in mind that it is very hot for children to stay on the territory of the fortress, you need to stock up on water + they will be brought to shops, which will take the time allotted for the tour. On the whole, we had a good holiday. But you need to understand where you are going and why (for us, silence, greenery and isolation from civilization were just happiness).
