We rested at the Hedef Cleopatra Golden Sun Hotel from 11 to 23 September 2010.
Alanya is beautiful! A beautiful promenade along the sea, a port, discos (“Robin Hood” was especially liked), a fortress, a cave, beaches... bypassed everything. Had a great rest. There are no complaints about Tez Tour. The tours are organized impeccably. Were at the vaunted Big Baba with a foamy disco. Nothing special, the disco is so generally funny. Our Jamal even apologized for Big Baba. Come on, funny money, it's not a pity. By the way, Jamal is a really good guy and there is something to praise him for.
But the hotel... I'm the 16th time abroad, the 5th time in Turkey. Was in 3*. But this is the first time I've been in such a mess. Legitimate extortion of money for rooms, dirty bed linen and towels (no laundry and no pair of linens per room? ), lack of toilet paper, no cleaning except taking out the garbage in the room was not done at all for 2 weeks. Food. . . Well, people like me won't starve, but they won't be happy either. The rest is difficult to survive. The tablecloths on the tables are always dirty, every day and at any time of the day. They are not washed or changed. The dishes are dirty and broken. Cutlery is simply rinsed and laid out greasy and wet. NO TEA SPOONS! Yogurt should be eaten from a disposable cup with a TABLE SPOON! Stir the coffee with a plastic stick. BAR. Oh... this is a separate song. I won’t talk about the quality of drinks, and everything is clear, all bottled carbonated drinks are open, from time to time a man in a dirty uniform pours 100 cups of sprite, cola, fanta, mineral water, beer and stands with disgust looking around something chewing... Dishes and ashtrays tables in the bar are rarely cleaned and not wiped at all. It's disgusting to sit there.
All this applies to the main building. There are three more across the road… It’s even worse there, I’ve never seen such a srach in any student hostel.
The staff was nervous and hissed when we photographed all this disgrace. I never saw the HR manager. But they are!
They say that this is one of the best hotels in Alanya, that even in 4 * it can be worse. I don't think it could be worse. Next time choosing Alanya I will take a higher class hotel.
