I want to tell a lot, especially considering that I was going to do this for almost a year. It was my first time in Turkey. Moreover, this type of holiday was also the first time for me. Before that, it was mostly boring cool Europe, where I visit rather even for work, pleasantly combining it with relaxation.
So. I booked the tour a month in advance, choosing simply the cheapest among 5 stars. Then I began to study the reviews..... It was just a nightmare. Flies, bad beach, disgusting service, lack of electricity and almost a leper colony…. There was even an idea to cancel the tour. Our tour operator contacted the hotel administration, found out some questions regarding the reliability of the reviews and offered to choose or change to another hotel or refuse the tour altogether. Of course, without any additional payments. But, I assured that not everything is true, which I am so afraid of. Risked....
The hotel is just a fairy tale. Yes, there is something to complain about, where in our life without it. But in 9 days, the negative was less than 1 percent in relation to how great everything was. I will not enumerate, enough has been said about food, rooms and the pool. I will tell you just one moment that especially filled me. On the last day we decided to go on a jeep safari. Quite a long road to the meeting point. Full car of vacationers from Russia. The first stop is to drink some water and wait for the rest of the groups. Well, of course, the discussion of where people live where begins. In principle, everything is standard - “in the description of a 5-suite suite and does not even pull for a triple”, “tired of eating one chicken”, “queues for food”, “no tips anywhere”, “a guide at the hotel takes us on excursions”, “dirt all around”… I don’t know, probably, to poke it in the soul of the Russian people. So, my friend, an innocent kid, listened to all this and listened and gave out - “you know, we won’t even talk about our hotel, we don’t want to upset you”....And went for tea : )

But. There is one circumstance that is apparently related to the contingent living in the hotel. I met Russian speakers at the hotel probably 3-4 times. The rest are mostly Norgs - many Finns, Norwegians, Swedes. Once a whole bus of Germans rolled up. The attitude towards Russians is especially. They spoiled the Turks. Having spoken in Russian at the reception upon check-in, it immediately became clear that they did not know him, but the porter who brought us to the room did and knocked out a tip. Next was a revealing moment at the pool bar. I'm a pretty "heavy" man. I’m going to my bar to get a beer and then I hear in my direction from the bartender and fucking - “Oh, what a big one !!! ” I look at him stupidly and ask "What? ". God, his face has changed. Then I give a literal translation: “Sir, what are you willing to drink” - “Beer” - “Here you are, have a good rest”....Then not exactly a demand, but insistent hints of a tip in the hotel bar. Well. The Russian language was forgotten for a week. We have never addressed anyone in Russian again and have not experienced any problems. Everything was very decorous and dignified.
It turned out interesting with beach towels. Everyone knows that if you lose a towel, then you are entitled to a fine. Even on the security card it says that the loss costs like 10 dollars.
Yeah. Wait.
We got into such a situation - we left towels on the sun loungers and went to the hotel for an hour. I don’t remember whether to have lunch or something else. Not the point. When I return, there are no towels. Well, I think I got it. loch. Nothing like that. I stomp at the reception and ask - tell me, dear, is it a normal scheme in your hotel that they steal towels so that later they can take dozens per person? I received a thousand apologies, assurances that I shouldn’t even think about such a trifle that no one, ever, anywhere and never took someone else’s, assurances that our towels were taken away by the staff during cleaning + 2 new cards for towels.....
What else I would like to tell. . . Well, probably about the doctor. Everything happens in life, so it is with us. I had to turn to the hotel doctor after diving. Of course, the number of the insurance policy was rewritten. Of course, an examination was made, all the necessary procedures were performed and medicines were prescribed that were delivered to the reception with instructions on how and when to take. And why am I telling this? And to the fact that the doctor spoke excellent English and German. But neither he nor the nurse speak Russian in principle. So I'm hinting - learn, gentlemen, English. At least basic - but you definitely need it. And . . Please do not forget about insurance. It's inexpensive, but can save a bunch of nerves.

Here's another point. I read reviews about this hotel many times and always thought - what kind of Tyson is this, and how does he make me write about himself every time - is he really paying. So. I can say with confidence that he does not pay anything and does not even give discounts to write about him : ) He is just an amazing person and a very good organizer. We took from him all the excursions that we visited. He arranged for us trips to the hammam, shops and advised what and how best to do and visit. To be honest, and just in the evening I took a couple of glasses of whiskey and stomped to his shop to talk “for life”. Now his business card-magnet hangs in my office in the corner of the marker board and reminds me of an extremely successful vacation....
Summing up all of the above, I want to tell the last little story... December is the month... It is very windy and damp on the Baltic coast... Winter... Our tour operator calls and says - “Dmitry, we have very good offers for early booking, do you want anything? ” . “I want it, Vida, I really want it!!!!! ”
On August 4th I fly again. Now for 14 nights……
