Long Beach is a hotel you want to return to! We rested from August 22 to September 4.2011, for the second time in this hotel. I want to say right away that we are more than satisfied with the rest, everything is just wonderful, the shortcomings, even if they were noticed by us, are only the most insignificant.
They settled us instantly, without any additional payments, I just politely asked the receptionist “Please give us a good room with a sea view” - and that's it! We lived in room 1237, a standard room, overlooking the hotel grounds and the sea. The room was quite spacious, clean, everything worked perfectly. The minibar upon arrival was filled with drinks - juices, cola, fanta, water, mineral water. In addition, the minibar was replenished every day with mineral water and ordinary bottled clean water. Cleaning in the rooms was also carried out qualitatively, without any baksheesh. Several Russian channels were tuned to the TV.
The hotel area is simply amazing in its size, very clean, well-groomed, lots of greenery, palm trees, flowers. Constantly look after the order throughout the hotel. There are a lot of bars, so there was no line for drinks at all. In addition, the hotel has several Self Service showcases where you can take bottled clean water on your own. In some bars (Pulbar, Piano Bar, Lobby Bar) they prepare very good cocktails - mojito, margarita, pina colada, long beach. We really liked the coffee house - it's always calm, not crowded, excellent Turkish coffee and tea.
The food is generally very varied, enough meat, fruits, vegetables. And what sweets!! ! They cook very tasty meat on the grill, there were several times sushi and rolls, a lot of seafood, fish. We were lucky, and we ended up at the hotel on the day of the end of the holy month of Ramadan - Ramadan Bairam. On this day, the hotel administration arranged a magnificent holiday with extraordinary cuisine (there were even lobsters), a concert, dances, songs, and a big fireworks display. During the day, you can have a few snacks - gozleme, fruit cocktails, kumpir, donuts, ice cream, hamburgers, doner, which was not there.
The hotel staff is very polite, tactful, the waiters and bartenders are especially trying, just great! Many speak Russian well. Here, some write that, they say, only the hotel staff speaks English and German. My dears, so learn languages a little! You won't get any benefit from this.
There are many pools, there is a pool with sea water, it is the most crowded, there is a daily animation program. The beach is huge! In this sense, the hotel lives up to its name. Lots of loungers, enough for everyone. The entrance to the sea is certainly rocky, this is a drawback, but there are much fewer stones on the right side of the entrance. The sea was very clean, contrary to the opinion that the sea in Alanya is supposedly always dirty.
The water park is very good, big, it works for a long time. There is an excellent children's water park in the form of a pirate ship. There is also a children's amusement park. There are many different slot machines in the game room on the -2nd floor, but this is for an additional fee. We tried several times to use the computer to transfer photos, but the interface of all absolutely computers was in Turkish, and it was impossible to do this. The employees of this game room don’t understand anything at all, they can’t help with anything, they came to the guest relay there, the guy helped us, gave us his computer, thanks to him.
There are also several shops on the -2 floor, the prices are lower than in Alanya and the goods are good, especially in the textile store and in the leather accessories store.
The spa center of the hotel deserves special attention. We visited the hammam, we were very satisfied, while no one imposed anything on us. At the same time, hotel guides for some reason do not cooperate with the spa and offer to go to the hammam, God knows where. We strongly advise against agreeing, because along with a low price, you can get low quality - these public hammams resemble public baths, full of people, queues for peeling, for massage.
In the evening, the hotel has something to do, entertainment for every taste - live music, piano solos in the piano bar, animation program, outdoor disco.
We visited two a la carte restaurants - Mexican and Chinese, we liked both very much, just super food and service.
