Rested at the hotel from 06/17/2008 to 07/1/2008. I am writing this review especially for those who have already bought a ticket to Lonicera, and for those who are just choosing which hotel to stay in. In order to WARN you about what you may encounter when you get to this hotel. If you are ready for not very pleasant surprises, then perhaps this will not cause disappointment and the rest will go off with a bang.
First, about its merits.
First, the distance from the road. The hotel is located in the depths, closer to the sea.
Secondly, a large and green area. Even if you do not expect to go outside the hotel at all, you will have somewhere to walk in the evening.
B-3, quite decent, but not very intrusive animation.
B-4, a normal beach, with a large number of sun loungers, with a smooth sandy entry into the sea. True, there are plates and stones under water, but there are not very many of them (at least at the beginning of the season).
B-5.4 swimming pools and 2 water slide complexes.

Well, now about the cons. The main one: be prepared for the fact that there may not be a place for you in this "paradise" - it is very popular. And it doesn't matter that you booked a hotel 4 months in advance, they smile at you disgustingly (as if it is very funny) and inform you that you will have to spend the night in another hotel. But if you really disagree (and I, of course, strongly disagree), then you can stay overnight in a hotel, but only in the attic. Called urgently by phone, which is recorded in the ticket, the guide Nastya stood, clapped her eyelashes and begged us (and besides me, 12 more people got into the same situation on June 17.2008) to agree to the conditions of the hotel, because nothing can be done. Even the dollars that I offered to Rohman (the main administrator at that time) did not help - he refused.
The result of 3-hour negotiations and begging was that one family left for another hotel, another company went to a 3-bed room, although there were 7 people (it means that there were rooms after all), but I “flew” with the child »on the roof, in Carlson's house. This one is a miracle number, with a small, 40 by 40, window under the ceiling, I filmed it and, if I have the opportunity, I will post it on the Internet. The night in the attic in this chicken coop was not the most pleasant of my life, especially since I was going to spend it in great comfort. I had to close the window to escape the local mosquitoes (by the way, take different plates for the fumigator with you, the “raptor” doesn’t take them very well), and I didn’t turn on the air conditioner in this Pumpkin house, because it hung right above the beds and I was afraid that the child would catch a cold, having never taken a dip in the sea. As a result, we spent the night in the steam room, there is no other way to say it.
True, in fairness, I must say that Rokhman kept his word (he wrote us a receipt the day before that he was obliged to provide a room the next day) and in the morning at 10 o'clock he gave us a quite tolerable room in building C. In addition, we "demanded" a free safe (so it costs 3 dollars or 2 Euros per day). This safe, and a bottle of wine with fruit, is all the compensation that the hotel provided us. The travel agency "RIVIERA" represented by the tour operator "WING TOURISTIC" only shrugged and said that it could not do anything, that is, the company turned out to be absolutely untenable in resolving this issue. Her guides are only able to breed their clients on excursions.
I would like to say a few words about cleaning the 2nd floor of building C. The only thing they do is wipe the floor. Towels are simply folded without changing. Sheets were moved from the right bed to the left and vice versa. At the same time, one day they took the left dollar and left, apparently forgetting why they came here. And only a complaint to the reception made them remember their duties. I didn't leave any more tips.

Now about nutrition. We did not get poisoned, and this, of course, is already a big plus. There was plenty of food. But, in my opinion, it is not tasty and not very diverse. But then again, depending on what to compare. If with "First Class 5 *" - the food in "Lonicera" is excellent, if with "Justiniano Beach" - then it sucks. Although the drinks were pleasing, Lonicer's "fast food", sweet watermelons and corn.
On the other hand, there are no alternatives to the Lonicera hotel in Alanya in terms of parameters: beach-territory-food and money spent (and it cost us 62 thousand rubles for two with a 9-year-old child for 14 days), in my opinion, no (I have due to 4 star hotels)
Everyone is good "Justiniano Beach", but it has a very small area. Everyone else loses in terms of beaches and location.
And therefore I conclude: if you are not averse to feeling like Carlsons for a while and you are not a gourmet, and you can hold out for some time on local food, then you are in Lonicera.
