Welcome all. We rested at the Lonicera World 4 * hotel in Alanya (Turkler village) from April 27 to May 8.2011. This hotel was chosen solely on the basis of reviews on the Internet, because it has a sandy beach and a good location. Rested three of us with my wife and daughter 2 years 10 months.
And now in order: Transfer to the hotel, that from the hotel without comment, took about 2 hours. We arrived at the hotel around 10.30 am, still had time for breakfast. The check-in took place closer than 14.00, the room was given in block D (as was agreed upon when booking the hotel, the tour operator is Pegas-Touristik), on the second floor overlooking the pool and the sea, as well as the Gold Island Hotel under construction. The room is small in size, when they put a cot for my daughter, it became crowded, we had to remove the bedside tables. The air conditioner is unregulated - 3 times I applied to the reception desk for the remote control, they refused. Perhaps this is due to the fact that at the time of our visit the hotel was completely full. Room after renovation - looks good, everything worked. The only nuance is that the soundproofing is bad, all day long screeching from the construction site (which, in theory, has already ended), and from the side of the front door - music from morning to night from paid attractions (where billiards are). At first, the noise got out, after a couple of days they got used to it : ). Room cleaning at the beginning was mediocre, the cleaning lady came after 14.00 when our daughter was sleeping. After a request at the reception, cleaning began to be done from 9.30 to 11.00. They left tips and chocolate (sometimes) - in principle, everything is fine. In block D there are LCD TVs with different inputs (including HDMI) - whoever needs it will understand.
The staff is friendly and it looks like they are trying.

The beach was backfilled this year, there are no stones at the entrance to the water, now to get to the depth you have to go quite far (this is in the area of block D), and then stones begin to come across. What I didn’t like is that a hotel is being built nearby, not only is it noisy, they strengthen the bottom with sandbags, plus, the earth is poured from the embankment into the sea - sometimes the sea was dirty. There were always enough sunbeds, because. the sea was cool, and many swam in the pools. The pools are nice, clean, warmed up quickly. A couple of days before our departure, the sea had already warmed up to 22 degrees. Also, my wife and daughter went to the SPA center (which is now in block C) to the indoor heated pool (it also worked in block B).
The weather did not let us down, it was cool only one day, April 28, when it was raining. The rest of the time it was warm, hot during the day, after the first of May they stopped wearing sweatshirts in the evenings - even at night it was about 20 degrees. Sometimes it was really cloudy.
I liked the food, no frills, but everything is tasty and fresh. It was possible to eat throughout the day, there is fast food, ice cream, a fish a la carte and a vitamin bar were opened for our departure. Also, it was never a problem to feed my daughter, because. in the morning there is always milk rice porridge, at lunch and dinner you could also come up with something by taking food from the diet table. We drank mineral water and tomato juice. The choice of fruits was not very good - apples, pears, oranges, loquat and cut grapefruits for breakfast. We ate mainly in the restaurant of Block D (we liked it better there, fewer people, no crowds) and sometimes at lunch in fast food (daughter asked).
Every day we went with my daughter to the mini-zoo, she really liked it there, they took lettuce leaves from the caretaker and fed the living creatures. There is also a very good kids club with slides, swings, children's exercise equipment and a paid trampoline. An awning has already been pulled over him, so it's not hot. Children's animators are trying. Every evening we went to a children's disco : ). With children in this hotel is good : )
The Internet was in the lobby of blocks A-B-C and at the reception. The quality is normal, we communicated via Skype (without video) without any problems.

The SPA center left conflicting impressions, because. Resting in Turkey, my wife and I always go through a course of massages. The quality of the massage is acceptable, the masseurs are friendly. But the SPA center itself is a passage courtyard, constantly moving, no relaxation. They give you a massage, then the door opens and they bring in a second massage table, put someone else's aunt in there, and give her a massage : ). Also, every other time I had to wait from 15 to 25 minutes, because. Massage therapists are very busy. You make a remark to the administrators - they apologize, take offense, everything will be the same for tomorrow. The price tag for procedures, if you bargain, is normal, initially it is too high for such a hotel. Therefore, unfortunately, I can’t recommend the SPA center (I mean paid procedures).
2 times we went to the market - once right not far from the hotel (I think he comes on Wednesdays), the second time - in Avsalara. I can mess up the day, it's better to find out at the hotel. Prices are initially too high, they are well traded, in principle, good things come across for an adequate price. They also bought and ate strawberries every day.
Here is my review. Although the sea was cool, we still had a great rest, especially considering the amount paid for the rest. I can safely recommend this hotel for families with small and not very children. Have a nice holiday everyone
