The hotel is popular with both the Russian-speaking population and Poles, Germans, Turks, and almost always, as explained to us at the reception, it is 100% full, which we felt for ourselves - upon arrival in Antalya, our guide told us that someone had decided extend your stay at the hotel and....THERE ARE NO PLACES IN THE HOTEL !! ! so for one day we will be placed in another hotel... our arguments scandal, a call to the Kiev representative office of Kariya tour (through the sender's agency), etc. , did not bring any result, except for a spoiled mood (three more families ended up in such a situation with us) . But there was nothing to do, I didn’t want to spend priceless vacation days at the airport, so I had to go to the proposed hotel. We were brought to the Vikingen quality resort & spa. The new hotel worked only for three months. I must admit that the hotel simply amazed us - new, spacious rooms, with modern furniture, excellent plumbing, the pool and, of course, the sea are also impressive (there is a huge pantone in the form of a trident on the beach that can accommodate, probably, half of the hotel), the only drawback is this is the almost complete absence of the hotel territory - from the hotel -2 meters and the pool and another two meters panton, in fact, this is the whole territory, so there is nowhere to walk there. Separately, I want to note the food - it's super - a lot, varied, tasty... (and much better and more varied than in Utopia... however, more on that later... ). (as we later found out, our group of “utopians” was still lucky to be accommodated in a hotel, since the tourists who arrived before us on an evening flight had to wait in the lobby of the Utopia world settlement... until five in the morning !!! ), so I would like to thank KARIYA TOUR separately, that she promptly responded to “there is no room in the hotel” and placed us for that day not in a shabby hotel, but in a new and even so cool one !!!
The next day we went to Utopia, but even that day… as it turned out, there were no places in the pitchforks again and we were again placed in the main building for one day, and tomorrow that’s for sure! ! they will settle in a good villa... By the way, we did not receive an apology from the hotel for the lack of paid places and forced transfers! Well, now about the rest itself and the impressions: the hotel and rooms are cool, the nature is amazing, the beach is poor (and you still need to get to it by minibus, and then by elevator), the animation is good, the bartenders are just smart; the food is "not very" - monotonous, the water park is for children, there is nothing for adults to do there, the territory is huge, beautiful - there is where to take a walk in the relic park! They settled us as promised - “good” (for 20 bucks) in a villa near the lounge bar, so I can’t really complain about the numerous steps. In general, we were very pleased with our vacation in both Utopia and Viking. I can safely recommend Utopia for families with children from 5 years old (because of the water park), and Viking for those who just want to "lazy" bask in the sun and eat delicious food.
