We rested in this hotel for 13 days from 09 to 21 July 2011. Tour operator Troika, the host of Tez Tour. In Turkey for the second time. Traveled with 4 adults + 2 children. Booked 1 family room and 1 standard room. The flight from Moscow was exactly on schedule, so we were lucky. Meeting at the airport without remarks, everything is fine. We were taken to the hotel on a big bus for 2.5 hours with one stop at some eatery. We wanted to buy water, because The children were very thirsty. The cost of 1.5 liters of plain water is $ 3 and the boorish attitude of the store employees (a 20-year-old salesman with stoned eyes offered to buy vodka from him: “Bro, do you want a bush? ” - “No. ” - “Maybe a bush? ” - “ No, I want water. ” - “Maybe a vodyar? ”), repulsed the desire to buy something at all. On the way, we stopped at 7 hotels, ours was the eighth. As a result, we reached the hotel at 23:00.
Accommodation: Placed in the hotel quickly. We said we were traveling together and were given rooms on the same floor and side by side. The reception was given 2 remotes (for TV and air conditioning) and one (! ) magnetic key for the room. When we said that we had 4 people in the room and asked for at least one more key, we were refused, saying that if necessary, they would open the room for us.
Number: The porter showed us the rooms, carried the luggage, did not take a tip. The rooms overlooked the road and the adjacent Tess Hotel (Standard 1223, Family 1225). I liked the standard room - no comments. But the family struck and surprised. When we entered it, we were immediately stunned. the room had 2 rooms and only one connecting door in a small room. We have never seen such a meaningless number anywhere. The description of the hotel says that there are 2 rooms in the room and there are interior doors, but it does not say that it is only in one room. Because we took a family room for a married couple with a child of 8 years old (nephew) and a grandmother, then the isolation of the rooms was mandatory (specially focused on this). I had to put my grandmother and grandson in a large room with one double bed, and move the beds ourselves in a small room. As a result, the bed stood exactly from wall to wall.

We only slept in the room, so the view from the window was not particularly interesting. But the side was sunny and the clothes dried very well.
In the bathroom there are: a bathtub with a glass fence, a toilet bowl, a towel holder, a dispenser with liquid soap, a sink (one cotton pad in a box, 3 cotton swabs in a box and 1 glass). Because shampoo, gel and soap we always take with us with this there were no problems. In principle, almost without comment, if it were not for the knee-deep water on the floor after taking a shower. The glass partition did nothing to prevent water from leaking onto the floor.
The room in a small room had 2 beds, 1 wardrobe, 1 armchair, 2 nightstands, a stool and air conditioning. In the big room: 1 large bed, 2 bedside tables (attached to the wall), table, mobile small ottoman, armchair, stool, LCD TV and air conditioning. The remote control is one for 2 air conditioners, which is very inconvenient. In the corridor there is a wardrobe with a safe and a mini-bar. Hangers for so many people is clearly not enough. In the minibar free of charge 2 bottles of Mirinda 0.2 l, 2 bottles of Pepsi 0.2 l each, 2 bottles of mineral water 0.2 l each and 4 bottles of water 0.5 l each. Drinks were replenished daily. They tried to clean up the room every day, but because after 14 hours we always rested in the room, it turned out to be tidy every other day. Apparently the maid started tidying from different ends and sometimes managed to clean up before lunch, sometimes she came by 16 o'clock. Therefore, towels were changed to us every other day, and the maid herself brought water when she asked if she could clean it up. Tipping was left 2 times.
One day, having come to the room after the show, we were surprised to find that the safe was open. We thought they just forgot to close. Fortunately, nothing was missing. After 2 days, again coming to the room in the evening, they found an open safe. There was some kind of inscription with an error blinking on it. We turned to the reception. They offered to change the safe right now (at 12 at night! ). We asked to do it in the morning. The next day we emptied the safe and reminded the reception that we had a problem with the safe. The mechanic went to fix it immediately. In the afternoon we came to the room, closed the safe with a code. What was our surprise when we returned to the room in the evening - the safe was open again....Only the name of the error has changed. In general, we transferred all the values to friends in the room. The problem with the safe was never resolved until the end of our stay. We decided not to make a fuss and not spoil your holiday.

The elevators worked in some strange way. Sometimes they just didn't want to close the doors. Sometimes the doors closed, but the elevators didn't move. Sometimes they worked without comment. No dependence was noticed in the principle of operation of elevators, it seems that they live their own lives.
Territory: The territory is not large, green. The hotel consists of two buildings. On the territory of 1 swimming pool with 2 slides, pool bar, snack bar. There is a lobby bar in the reception area. There is a playground, but I do not recommend using it. It is located a little lower in level and all the water from washing the paths and watering the lawns flows there. Because of this, there is a slippery swamp on the site all the time and the kids get dirty beyond recognition.
Meals: The restaurant consists of two parts: closed (in the building) and open (terrace). There is clearly not enough room for everyone. A little strange attitude of the staff to the placement of guests at the tables. Very often a table for four or six was occupied by one or two people. No one has sat down next to them. As a result, the tables are all occupied, but half empty. Because We were a group of six so it was hard to find a table. Tablecloths are laid fresh only when the restaurant opens, they are not changed during lunch or dinner. There are a lot of children in the hotel who spill or drop something on the table, so if you want to have lunch or dinner on clean tablecloths, you need to come first.
There are no special comments on the nutrition itself. The breakfasts were poor. Pancakes one day, scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs the next day. Every day there were boiled eggs (3 minutes and 5 minutes), soy sausages, croissants, buns, vegetables, breakfast cereals, hot and cold milk (although there was no milk at all on one day), porridge, drinks like Yupi (tastes terrible, acid and dye), tea (I could not drink, the taste is unpleasant), coffee, coffee with milk, watermelon and melon. In principle, they were not hungry, but eating only eggs for 13 days is too much.

Lunch and dinner were a bit more varied. There was always meat in pieces (chicken, turkey, beef, lamb) and minced meat (they prepared all kinds of meatballs, meatballs, stuffed vegetables, etc. ). Rice, pasta and potatoes were garnished every day, just in different variations. Something specific was fried on the street, such as smelly fish, carrot cutlets, fried eggplants, peppers and zucchini, but we almost didn’t like anything there.
From fruits they gave nectarines, apricots, grapes, plums. Watermelons and melons were served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Too bad they weren't cold.
I can’t say anything about desserts - I haven’t tried it, but it looks beautiful.
Saturday dinner - Turkish night - is a separate issue. For him 5+.
Because we had a late check-in and went to a late dinner, which, according to the booklet, is served from 24.00 to 01.00. So at 24.20 there was nothing to do there. All the soup was eaten, although there were 5 people in the cafe. We came at 24.20 and scooped out the leftover soup from the bottom of the pot for six people. At 24.30, all food was removed from distribution, including bread.
Drinks: wine (red and white), beer, martini bianco and martini rosso, campari and brandy Napoleon (horror to taste), vodka rakia. And that's all. On UALL does not pull in any way.
Beach: The beach itself is sandy, but the entrance to the sea is through a strip of pebbles. Among the pebbles, there are pieces of concrete and fragments of ceramic tiles. There is no pier of its own, you can go to the next one only if the attendant does not see it.

Beach service is completely absent. Beach boy sleeps on a lounger in the shade. For 13 days, the garbage from the beach was not removed even once. There are plastic cups, cigarette butts, plastic bags, half-eaten french fries and all the garbage that the surf throws up. The sea out of 13 days, only 2 days was really clean. On other days, cigarette butts, cups, plastic bags, shorts, used diapers floated in it. Swimming was disgusting. We tried to go to the pier, but at the end of the garbage there was so much that it was located from the shore to the end of the pier. The dirty sea may or may not be related to the hotel, but I no longer want to go to Turkey. On our first trip to Turkey in 2009, the sea had the same problems, only out of 10 days it was dirty for only 2 days, and now it’s the other way around. The situation seems to be getting worse every year.
The beach chairs are all broken. They are so tight that you can't even walk between them. Our family is a non-smoker, so we suffered a lot from such closeness. After all, you can’t explain to the people (they tried - they don’t understand) that you don’t smoke and there are children nearby. They smoked like steam locomotives on all other vacationers.
I didn't post pictures, but I can send those who are interested.
From the neighboring pontoon you can see people feeding the fish with bread. On the day of the swimmers' departure, near the very entrance to the sea (where the depth is chest-deep), someone bit their legs. When this someone grabbed my foot, I flew out of the water with a screech and didn’t want to swim anymore.
On a nearby beach in the sea, a replacement pipe is laid from the shore to the sea. The purpose of the pipe is unknown. It can be, like a sewer drain, or sea water intake into the pool of a neighboring hotel.
We tried to be more on the beach, because. there were seats even at 10 o'clock and a good shade from the awnings.
I was pleased that they were allowed to swim in the sea even at night. They splashed like children after a tiring road from Moscow to the hotel.
Swimming pool: The hotel has one swimming pool and it is very small and shallow, for so many tourists. Considering that the slides in the same pool start at 10 o'clock, and when they close, water activities begin, then there is nothing to do in the pool, because. there just isn't room anymore. The sunbeds around the pool also stand on top of each other. Sometimes there is nowhere even to stick an umbrella, so there is not much shade either. Places near the pools began to take from 6 in the morning. At 9 o'clock there are already no free ones, although it is clear that no one uses sunbeds, they just stand occupied by someone. In this regard, the hotel is a complete mess.

Animation Entertainment In principle, pulls the entire hotel and creates more positive mood than negative. The whole program is scheduled for 2 weeks. Saturday is the animation team's day off. This day is the Turkish night. Daytime animation was of little interest. There was yoga, water polo, water aerobics, boccia, a relay race in the pool and something else. In the evening at 20.30 in the amphitheater cartoons for children (Tom and Jerry in English). At 21.00 mini-disco. At 22.00 evening show from the animators. Bingo was held once a week. Didn't go. 2 times there was a comedy show - interesting. There were competitions for a couple of the hotel (they frankly played along with the Turkish couple), Mr. Hotel (it becomes a shame for the Russians) and Miss Hotel (they judged honestly and it was a lot of fun). One evening there was a girls show. Half of the people did not even sit through to the end. At the end of the show, according to the program, there was a performance of club dances. Because of this, people tried to leave the amphitheater during the final number in order to avoid dancing. But all the same, there were dancers and the dances were very incendiary. Just don't make people dance if they don't want to.
The animators themselves are very sociable and nice. The children loved Carmen very much, but for some reason they didn’t go to the mini-club, cartoons and mini-disco. The first day they went, on the second day they went, but almost immediately returned, and then flatly refused to go. They said that every day is the same - it's not interesting.
The amphitheater is made beautifully, but the seats are not very comfortable, because. low. Vacationers come with drinks, put them on the seats or on the floor. If someone passes by, be sure to knock them down and douse everyone sitting. There is no podium / stage in the amphitheater, therefore, starting from the third row, the audience starts to get up from their seats if the action during the performance takes place on the floor (for example: competitions, some scenes from comedy shows).
In general, they were satisfied with the vacation, if it were not for the dirty beach and the sea, then everything would have gone perfectly. After all, we went there just for this. We will definitely not go to this hotel for the second time, even just because we have already been there. And if we compare Turkey and Egypt, then Egypt in our family is more popular because of the cleanliness of the sea and the beach and proximity to the airport. The road to Insula is very exhausting. By the way, the price is also not in favor of Turkey, especially this year.
By the way, there are a lot of locals on Insula beach. They are located right on the sand near the sea and bathe their dogs where we swim....
