Again we go to Cornelia, the hotel where we rested in mid-August 2014, remembered for its excellent food and service. We are arriving at the end of next week, upon my return I will definitely write another review, in which direction the hotel has changed during this time. While I write how we rested a few years ago
We arrived from the airport in about an hour, the check-in was also short-lived, we filled out the forms, had breakfast and our room was already ready. The rooms are normal, in some places there were signs of wear, the bathroom is in excellent condition, towels and soap items were changed and replenished without reminders. We still had to remind a couple of times about filling the mini-bar, and then we only took water for tea and coffee from there.
Beach: sand with a small amount of small-medium pebbles, there were always enough sun loungers. The depth does not start abruptly (as in the Kemer area), which is an additional plus on my part. When descending to the beach, there is a spacious cafe (I would say elongated - tables are set along the coast), you can safely drink tea, coffee, drinks. Between the hotels (on the beach) there are no barriers, many in the morning did jogging along the beach, in the evening they just walked along the sea (the main thing to remember is how your hotel looks from the water in the evening)

What is missing here is the pools. We mostly swam in the main pool near the 24-hour Daphna bar, there was another one above the tier. There are also two small pools for children (one near the main one for the smallest, one on the playground - for some reason the water in it was cold - in August! ), And you can also say for children near the three slides of the water park. Two slides for adults, one for children (according to the autumn-winter photographs of tourists, I saw that there were construction works in the area of the slides, I hope they just changed the tiles, and not removed the slides).
Nutrition. This is one of the main advantages of the hotel. The choice of food is excellent, especially when in the evening the main restaurant has a themed menu, often an extended range of seafood. The downside of the evening is that the restaurant is very full, the waiters work quickly, but there are still delays, but this is the situation in most hotels for dinner. For lovers of fish dishes, I advise you to visit the Mediterranean a la carte restaurant (located in the area of the villas), they cook quickly and most importantly delicious, for some minus for some plus - the tables in this restaurant are located directly on the edge of the pool. At the exit from the main building towards the beach-pools there is a bar where they prepare fresh juices from oranges, carrots and apples.
The territory of the hotel is compact - rectangular in shape, elongated from the entrance to the beach, you can’t really walk in the “sides”. Full of greenery, all green lawns without any signs of dried grass, many local cats (judging by them, they rest there the most), met turtles and squirrels several times.
The animation is great, especially for children, the girls always found how to entertain the kids with games and competitions (with medals), they even taught how to cook pizza. Evening programs are normal (you can’t please everyone here), I especially remember the gala concert (it seems like just in 2 weeks) - tables were set up around the main pool and a stage was set up, the culmination was the removal of the signature dish and the flaming Cornelia inscription against the backdrop of the hotel, words cannot describe it - must be seen as a whole.
I recommend it as a hotel for families.
